We arranged to meet him outside the apartment, where there was a parking place right beside the door in a side street in Trevi old town. The apartment is tastefully decorated in the traditional style for these buildings. There is a large room with double bed and private bathroom. This was in January, the room was well heated and a nice hot shower. The bed is firm and comfortable. The apartment is quiet at night with little or no street noise, but note that there is no view from the apartment. Breakfast can be had at one or other of the two bars within one minute's walk of the apartment. A voucher for breakfast was included in the price we were given. A good value and convenient short-stay option to explore the town of Trevi

Reviewed By surfergtfantastic new accommodation, perched above Trevi township with panoramic views over the entire valley. Francesca and his wife are very welcoming, and while his english is limited, he is adept at using his translator phone app. Immaculate new fresh units fitted with efficient air cond and modern appliances. Francesco is meticulous with presentation and you can tell he takes great pride in making his guests feel at home. The entire unit exudes freshness and newness. Large refrigerator and ample mod cooking facilities provide for self catering or Trevi township is a short 10min drive down the hill. The outlook from the rooms and patios are stupendous. Free Wifi in rooms.Ample parking on site. Access is little steep in short sections but nothing a conventional small car cant handle, just use caution. Overall, brilliant, very highly recommended as base for exploring Umbria and it's cliff-top towns.

You can also buy wine here or have it delivered to your home. Super nice large pool with shallow end for the children. In the afternoon they bring watermelon around the pool. Jacuzzi and very nice garden with olive trees. 2 different playgrounds. Keep u the good work Maurizio and staff!

Trevi is located on the top of an hill along the Flaminia speedway and is a charming small medieval Borgo, rich in art, in a overlooking position with a great view towards Assisi and Spoleto. Constructed in concentric circles, Trevi resembles a spiral-shaped shell which preserves intact its ancient heart: The Complex Antica Dimora alla Rocca, composed by two adjoining, historical Buildings of the XVII Century – Palazzo Valenti & Palazzo Urighi - and by the Medieval Borghetto del Mostaccio, less than 100 feet far from these.

Reviewed By tgreen1001Nice old building with charm of small town Umbria. Trevi is a great village to wander in with many views. No views from the hotel, but of this charming village. Our room was small and unlike the others in our group. It was clean and had good wifi. The restaurant/ breakfast is very satisfactory. This hotel seems to have groups stay often. Nice staff.

Bella struttura ma poco Hotel.
Reviewed By Francesco DLa struttura è bella e le stanze ben arredate anche con particolari di gusto. Bella sorpresa un mega TV (anche se con segnale altalenante). Diciamo che però ha poco della gestione di un hotel, siamo arrivati alle 14:15 ed abbiamo trovato chiuso .... contatto il gestore ci è stato detto che la struttura riapriva alle 15 e che la nostra coppia amica che aveva fatto la prenotazione,non aveva specificato che saremmo arrivati a quell'ora. Io mi aspetto da un hotel tre stelle una portineria sempre aperta almeno nell'arco della giornata. Comunque abbiamo "traccheggiato" facendo un giro veloce (non il massimo visto il caldo afoso) fino al check-in. Anche io non sono rimasto pienamente soddisfatto della colazione, perché un cornetto (di quelli surgelati) ed un cappuccino non è quello che ti aspetti da una struttura del genere. Diciamo che di alberghi ne ho girati tanti x piacere ma soprattutto per lavoro ed un tre stelle che non ha un mini buffet dove poter scegliere la colazione....non si vede spesso ( tutte quelle cose che Massimo dice di proporre come colazione in risposta ad una recensione negativa, le mettesse a disposizione e non ad eventuale richiesta). Comunque è una struttura da prendere in considerazione ma con alcuni piccoli accorgimenti potrebbe essere migliorata, soprattutto se ci si aspetta un "albergo"(secondo me si avvicina più ad un B&B gestito in loco). Comunque capisco anche le difficoltà che possano trovare i gestori visto la pandemia...guerra e rincari .

A wonderful holiday in Umbria
Reviewed By MariellaGambWe spent a week in the Setterhouse, my husband, our 11 year old daughter and me. The hotel is placed right in the centre of Umbria, which makes it really easy to travel around and visit places in Umbria. It´s located on the hills therefore it has a wonderful view of the countryside. Eleonora and Ennio are excepcional hosts, so welcoming, kind and helpful. They gave us lots of tips on what to see in Umbria, treated our daughter like a princess, and went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. One night we had a problem with the heating: one of the heater stopeed working but they immediately called the maintenance company to get it fixed and changed us of room till the day after when the room had heating again. The food is fantastic, everything at breakfast is made by them, included the cakes and their exquisite orange marmelade. Something else to mention is the presence in the hotel of their 13 adorable dogs, one of the reasons why we chose this hotel. The dogs havebeen foudn and rescued by Ennio and Eleonora which says a lot about them really. One more thing I´d like to mention is that our daughter forgot her cuddly toy in the hotel. She was very upset when she found out as we were already back in Madrid and could not go back for it, and it had been her toy since the very 1st day she was born. Eleonora found it and sent it back to us, an extraodinarily kind gesture which we will never forget. We hope to go back to Setterhouse in the future, especially in the summer to enjoy the swimming pool and visit again Eleonora, Ennio and their dogs.

Country Casco dell’Acqua is situated within a property of fifteen acres between the towns of Trevi, Montefalco, Bevagna and Foligno. It 's the typical Umbrian farmhouse: the main building is only four meters from the banks of river Clitunno, which flows along the country house, and consists of a main building from the early eighteenth century. The entrance features an 18th century bridge over river Clitunno. The house is made of six simple but elegant apartments, set in a relaxing environment in perfect harmony with nature. There is a typical restaurant "Vino e Cucina" where cooking courses are being organized for guests wishing to learn the secrets of Umbrian cuisine.
The best food we had in Italy!
Reviewed By Dotty SMy husband and I stayed here for two nights in late September as part of a bike tour. We were very pleased with the nice quiet location and the one bedroom apartment we had was quite spacious. We enjoyed swimming in the salt water swimming pool. Carla was a gracious host and she prepared the best food we had in Italy! Dinners were a three course affair with a pasta dish - one night stringozzi with pomodoro sauce, and the other night ravioli. Second course was a nice pork loin with salad and the other night a lovely salad with beef strips. And the desserts were tasty, as well. There were a wide variety of pastries and fruit and cereals at breakfast. We would highly recommend staying here and would return if we were fortunate enough to visit this beautiful part of the world.

Quiet family style accommodation
Reviewed By Tony AI have stayed many times in the small Umbrian town of Trevi and enjoyed my recent four days at Il Terziere very much. I found this small hotel much in keeping with the atmosphere which has pleased me so much in nearly thirty years of visiting. Staying in luxury level accommodation would be a disconnect in this town which allows you to link immediately to its mediaeval past and atmosphere. It would be inappropriate to what draws me back since I first visited for the Festa dell'Illuminata, the winter celebration of the patron saint, Emiliano, many years ago and was fortunate enough to make wonderful friends here. I enjoyed Il Terziere's family feel, the friendliness of the owners and the impression you are staying in a home, looked after in a relaxed, welcoming and unstintingly helpful way. If this suggests to you it's not your style, go elsewhere, but you'll miss out on something that is essentially part of the Trevi rural historic experience. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and quiet and I would unhesitatingly return on my next visit. The price is right and the breakfast good.
