For me it the exceptional work of the chef, buffet breakfast and lunch here is ever refreshing; one to always look for. Broad menu, a fine mix of local and intercontinental cuisine with live cooking. The patronage is diverse and it presents them hotel as a global hub of mankind. Family friendly as well. Salute Hotel 2 Fevrier!

Great design, excellent staff, but skip the restaurant
Reviewed By MzunguRafikiBeautifully designed hotel with a really warm/welcoming entrance and many locally made products to purchase. Staff are attentive and work very hard but unfortunately any tips that are added to the bills are apparently not given to waitstaff. The restaurant food is expensive and not of great quality/flavour. It looks beautiful when it arrives but the taste is not great - the fish we ordered one night had a really unpleasant aftertaste as if it wasn't fresh/was going bad. The buffet breakfast has a really wide selection of breads, pastries, veggies, cheeses/meats, yogurts, cereals, & fruits, etc. but best to stick to the pastries and fruit. Coffee also tasted watered down and wasn't the most enjoyable. However good wifi, a gym with all windows open for good ventilation, and clean practical rooms.

Establishment by the sea, only beach where we can bathe in complete safety thanks to the beach roch which protects the swimming. Family, friendly and restful atmosphere. Chamber in bungalow. Restoring African and French cooking.

Reviewed By NimefurahiThe hotel is a pleasant place to stay for a night. The receptionist in the small reception is friendly enough to help you checking in into your room. The room are simple and a bit dark. There is no mosquito net, no safe and no fridge. The bathroom is very simple. If you use the airco, the overflow in the bathroom will flood easily during the night. The restaurant is good. During lunch they have a extended menu. In the evening it is all form that standard menu. Breakfast is simple but okay.

Run down and disapointing
Reviewed By netllamaWe spent 2 nights here. Our room was sad and not in great condition. Very little light. The AC struggled to cool the room, and they required the key card in the room to run the AC which meant the room was always hot when we returned. Lots of noise on all sides morning & night, with bars on all sides. The wifi was slow and unreliable much of the time. The shower had poor water pressure. The toilet took 15+ minutes to flush. The sink burped air every time we turned on the faucet. Food was mediocre.

Reviewed By MarkFleming1963Room was exceptionally comfortable with great A.C. Very clean and spacious with a lovely view to the sea. Breakfast and all other meals were really excellent - the staff always very polite. Would not hesitate to stay here again, the hotel was typical of the warm welcome we experienced in Togo.

Unusual, Great Stay
Reviewed By drnorthThe hotel is unusual in its decor. It has a mix of European and African touches with all sorts of nooks and crannies. I really liked it. I had a suite, which I didn't need, but enjoyed. Great wifi and AC. Very clean. The staff were tremendously helpful and very sweet, despite my poor French. Good breakfast. I liked having the bar in the building for a bite to eat and a drink at night. It is also in a very good location; easy to find and walking distance to everything. My only criticisms would be the rock hard mattress in my room (and i am not fussy about these things). I slept instead on the sofa. Also the shower in my room did not work. A small trickle of water came out of the faucet, but it was not enough to power the shower nozzle. Neither of these things bothered me enough to complain. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it.

Reviewed By 424kitdWe had a great stay in Hotel Aurore. The food was fantastic and we often opted to eat in. Beautiful courtyard and setting, sheltered from the busy (and somewhat polluted) city outside. Would definitely recommend!

Shame for an otherwise nice enough establishment ;-(

Lovely guesthouse with friendly hosts
Reviewed By RichardS8693Really fantastic family-run guest house, with a beautiful garden. Nice small touches, hot water, good wifi. Best of all was the friendly welcome of Yvonne and Yau. Nice fresh breakfast as well with fruits and pancakes. Would reccommend to anyone. Watch out, the google maps address is not correct though!
