Cozy place to relax and enjoy peace and nature
Reviewed By MilicaStaAmazing place surrounded by nature, with incredible view of the mountain above. I stayed here with the rest of my hiking group from where we climbed Fengari peak. The owners were very helpful, friendly and they assisted us with everything we needed. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. I would love to come back and stay at this place again. I recommend this place to the future travelers who like to wind down in a peaceful surroundings.

Our pension is located in Therma’s finest and most graphic spot. Everyone who is interested in being a part of the adventure and nature that Samothrace offers, is welcome to our Pension for the best relaxing experience.

Reviewed By Johanna HI had a wonderful stay here! The room was very comfortable with air conditioning. The food at the restaurant is also very good! The owner himself was very helpful and provided me with information about the island. Pansion Galini is the perfect base for exploring Therma and the incredible island of Samothrace. I look forward to visiting again!

Afordable, clean, budget facilities
Reviewed By DelyiaVery clean rooms, nice personnel, average conditions. No AC, the facilities at minimum budget. Some appliances are very old and seems like they are falling apart. The same is some furniture. There is a light cooking space used by 3 rooms, with electrical cooking machine, dishes, space to have a light breakfast or stay for a drink.

Samothraki is a magical place and Aigaion is the place to stay if you go there.
Reviewed By Ion NThe place is fantastic. It's right in front of the beach, you can hear the sea from your room. The rooms are cosy, nice and clean, bathrooms clean and with natural light. You feel like staying home. The host, Giorgios (Iorgos) is superfriendly and very nice, his family is there helping with the work and are always smiling. In the morning during breakfast the father may sometime play the buzukia (out of sight but you can hear it). About breakfast, it's an open buffet, well furnished, every morning there are one or two new items. You eat in the garden, under the trees with a view to the sea and the mountain in your back. There is a beach in front of the house, with nice clean-clear water, and if you want to spend the day there there are some trees close by where you can get a bit of shade. Although you can not have lunch there there are several options close by. When you go on your left there is Therma 1km, Saoki beach 1 km, and a few spots to eat there around, and then you have Argos and Asprovalta. Except for Argos, situated among very nice trees with view to the beach, all the rest are nearly on the beach (Asprovalta literally so). We recommend having a car (there is plenty of parking space) or renting a scooter. Walking is an option but not at night (you can but it's not fun). There are a lot of things to visit (The Sanctuary -which if you get there on a full moon can be visited at night- Fonias Gorge, Gria Vathra (last two are waterfalls with small lakes, a MUST ;), the south side beaches, Khora (the capital), and lots of other restaurants, Akrogiali, Vrachos, Delfinia, Tou Stenaki, and, top among them, Karydies. and then there are many other things we did not visit, and wanted to but lacked time. Next time for sure. Samothraki is a magical place and Aigaion is the place to stay if you go there.

Bad breakfast / it is the same thing on and on no variety whatsoever, do not go there if you want to experience Samothraki , there are a lot of other interesting things to do with hotels/taverns with delicious food!!!! There are always scooters passing by on the street so if your room is on the street no sleep whatsoever. our so called host even made a remark so that we keep your sheets clean , so he would not have to clean them. A pseudo-philosopher guy that thinks he is smarter and way more intelligent than you. The island is very interesting though better visit the south part of the island - much better weather and beaches.

Την πρώτη κιόλας μέρα χάλασε το κλιματιστικό του δωματίου,ενημερώσαμε τον ιδιοκτήτη και κάλεσε τεχνικό, διαβεβαιώνοντας μας πως όλα λειτουργούν μια χαρά.Ωστόσο αυτό δεν ίσχυε και για μια ακόμη βραδιά δεν κοιμηθήκαμε εξαιτίας της ζέστης(Αύγουστος μήνας)! Ειμασταν σε συνεχή επικοινωνία μαζί του και στο τέλος, παρόλο που δεν είχαμε καμία μέρα κλιματιστικό στη διάρκεια της παραμονής μας, μας κατηγόρησε πως εμείς το χαλάσαμε, λεγοντας πως 20 χρόνια δούλευε μια χαρά (πιθανόν και χωρίς συντήρηση γιατί τα φίλτρα ήταν πενταβρωμικα!) και πως θα έχει πρόβλημα με τους επόμενους πελάτες (λες κι εμείς δεν είμασταν πελάτες κ πληρώναμε!) . Πανέμορφο νησί αλλά απαράδεκτος ‘’επαγγελματίας’’...για μια αρπαχτή!

Dimitris and Vaso, who own the hotel, are very friendly and willing to provide you with all the info you need to explore Samothraki. I definitely recommend this hotel.
