Overall a beautiful accommodation with a stunning view but the owners made us feel very uncomfortable! We originally planned to stay two nights but I got food poisoning from the dinner there on night 1. After telling Katie that I had been sick she didn’t show any hospitality or help except getting me a banana for breakfast. Due to my bad condition we wanted to head back to our long term accomodation instead of staying the second night. When we told Thomas, he made us feel very uncomfortable and told us that we would “miss out on the best thing now” (their rice field tour). In the middle of this conversation he was talking with his wife Katie in French completely disregarding us, which made us feel super unwelcome. After packing up and checking out, they ignored us as if we were inconveniencing them. Thomas didn’t even look at us and made an employee help check us out, while Katie was next us in the kitchen singing completely not acknowledging us. We said goodbye and thank you which was met with silence. At this point we weren’t surprised. Great view but incredibly rude hosts will never stay here again.

We spent one night here with my boyfriend before going on a 2 day hike with Jaya trekkers. The property is in the middle of rice fields with a view of Mt. Ringani. The little garden is maintained beautifully. The cottage is the cleanest we had in Lombok and it was also very comfortable. The owner, Anya and his family are incredibly nice people. Both dinner and breakfast was delicious thrre. Wifi didn't work when we were there but we could use Anya's hotspot. The only negative thing is that the nearby mosque was extremely loud so I did not get anymore sleep after 4 am or so.

we spent there 3 nights and the beginning was not ideal. The last mile to the location it rained like crazy and it was dark. As we saw the sign "satu lingkung" we were relieved and one guy showed us the way to the camp. As we realized how much we were off the road we began worrying about getting something to eat, also the rain wouldn't stop. But two guys who apparently had a great time chilling at our bungalow explained that dinner will be brought to houses. Dinner is extremely good and authentic, as we later learned it is cooked by the family of one of the guys. Breakfast is also very delicious and healthy. Both pretty flawless. Bungalows are very nice with great bathroom in a separate shed. unbelievable beautiful landscape in the middle of rice terraces. Anul, the guy who seemed exclusively be there for our well-being showed us the rice terraces and a waterfall. the tour through the villages was really great! later he introduced us to his family and showed us local plants and how the extremly tasty coffee was handmade by his aunt. The next day we made a trip with him and his friend to a village to see how sarongs are woven. they really took care of everything. in the evening we witnessed a traditional cooking session within Anul's family. we then eat together. The stay at Satu Lingkung was extraordinary and it was really hard to leave the next day. Would absolutely recommend!!

This is a special place. The host and his family give you a warm welcome and do all in their power to give you a marvellous holiday. There are walks and excursions, coffee making and cookery lessons. We were lucky enough to be invited to an Indonesian Wedding. A memory to cherish forever. Thank you to Padli ,family and staff!

This was honestly one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. I came to Tete Batu with a friend whilst travelling around Indonesia. We booked Tete Batu Indah homestay for two nights as it was the only one available within our price range, and ended up staying an extra night because we loved it so much! The homestay is run by Ron and Bramm, two lovely guys who made us feel at home instantly. Our room was very cosy, with a double bed, bathroom with shower and toilet including towels, and an outdoor seating area overlooking the beautiful forest. The communal area contained wifi, unlimited tea, coffee and filtered water, and too overlooked the gorgeous forest and mountain views. Ron advised us of the available trips, and we decided to do most of the them. Ron and Bramm took us via scooter to a nearby village called Loyok, where we saw the local women carry out traditional sarong making and bamboo weaving. This was amazing to see, especially as Loyok does not contain many tourists and so we felt we got a real view of a traditional Indonesian lifestyle. The following day Ron took us on a walk through the rice fields, monkey forest and to a waterfall where we could swim (please see pictures). The views were out of this world, and seeing the monkeys in their natural habitat was so worth it. Ron is a great tour guide with extensive knowledge of the whole village, continuously pointing things out to us and answering any questions we had. On our final day, we decided to learn the coconut oil making process and do a cooking class with the lovely women who help run the homestay. It was so good to see how coconut oil is traditionally made and to try making it; both me and my friend got a small bottle to take home with us after the process. The cooking class was truly authentic, we sat in the small kitchen where the women prepare all the food, and they taught us step by step how to make the Indonesian meals gado gado, olah olah and tofu curry. All of these activities were very reasonably priced and highly recommended, this goes for the food there aswell. Food is available both at the homestay and Ron's restaurant 5 mins aways - it is all so tasty, especially the vegetable lumpia, gado gado and fried banana! I am vegan and did not struggle to eat at all, as many dishes are prepared with coconut oil and do not contain meat or eggs. Overall our stay was refreshing, calming and just what we needed to get away from the tourist bustle of some other Indonesian areas, we didn't want to leave!

We decided to stay in Tetebatu for two nights after visiting and loving the village. Everyone is very friendly and the scenery is beautiful. Edriyan bungalows had lovely, clean, authentic bamboo rooms with balconies looking out to the rice fields at a very reasonable price. The family and friends were all very kind and welcoming taking us around the village, cooking delicious food and even lighting a bonfire for us one evening. A truly wonderful few days that has made our time in Lombok very memorable.

I didnt stay here, so i cannot tell you about how it is to stay here, but i came here daily to eat and to visit a friend who stayed here, so hanged out quite a lot. Very nice setting in the middle of the ricefields and beautiful view if Mount Rinjani, specially in the morning you could see the mountain so clear - before the clouds came in. Ricefields as long as your eyes can ses...all green around you. Also a lot of love has been put into the garden, theres even homegrown lemongrass, mint etc that you can ask to be added to your tea. I came here many times to eat and i have to say that the wife cooked the best food in all Tetebatu, its was so so delicious, thank you so much for all the lovely meals. I checked out the rooms and they all looked good to me and the bathrooms clean and spacious. Definetly a place to stay if you appreciate all the nature around you, quiet time and lovely food with friendly people.
