We booked 2 rooms a double and another for single use. The 2 rooms were next door to each other and the bedrooms very similar. The bathrooms were different though. One room had a much more modern updated bathroom. We were on the upper floor and the glass fronted terrace with two comfortable chairs was a very nice place from which to enjoy the countryside views. The conversion of old buildings into a good quality and comfortable hotel has been very well carried out. We last stayed at La Rectoral in 2006 and always vowed to return. So glad we did. Enjoyed it even more than the first time thanks to the lovely staff and the fact that it is still as good as we remembered.

Rural hotel that offers tranquility, quiet, a few impressive conference and a natural and cultural incomparable environment. We have a wide, comfortable and cozy dining room with a few maginíficas dress on the typical valley of the Asturian west. In our dining room it will be able to taste the diverse specialities that there offers House Petronila. All our products are of the first quality, proceeding from Taramundi's excellent culinary tradition.
This hotel was such a wonderful surprise! I booked it through booking and paid €33/night which was wonderful! I had a room on the second or third floor (I can't remember), with a balcony that looked at the Asturias mountains. The heating was such a nice plus since it was rainy and cold outside. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was big and had lots of hot water with good pressure. The only thing is I could definitely hear what was going on in the room next to me, but I brought ear plugs so it was not a problem at all. The owner is extremely sweet, and I believe its his kids who work with him? They're all wonderful and super helpful. My Spanish is pretty awful, but they were willing to try other means of communication so we could all get our point across :) If you are driving through Taramundi or staying there, I highly recommend staying in this hotel. It was inexpensive and completely perfect. Also extremely convenient to have a restaurant right in the hotel so you can get up and have some bread with jellies and your coffee :)

We stayed 2 nights in the wonderful, mountain town of Taramundi. Hotel Casa Paulino is certainly the centre - it has a buzzy bar which is popular day and night. Yes, it was a little noisy at night as our lovely room had a balcony overlooking the bar's entrance, but it wasn't a problem at all. The room was spacious and comfortable - it wasn't perfect as the door lock was stiff and the hot water ran out at one point - but it's incredibly good value. There's no lift - but hey, you have to like walking up and down hills if you visit this marvellous town and area.

You can get here cheap accommodation in a nice and clean rural establishment. The apartments are painstakingly clean and well furnished, although, as it´s a house, there is no lift. Full equipped kitchen -which is in a different room from the living room, that´s just as I like it-, impeccable bathroom. Comfortable beds. Central heating and TV. Good location at the centre of this small town. The prices are incredibly cheap, so the price-quality ratio is really outstanding.
