Arrived 6:45pm, room not ready. Advised to go to bar where I waited 20 mins to get served and there were plenty of staff. Tv not working, old run down rooms, lamp not working, dirty towels in room. When room cleaned next day, didn’t put all new towels, refresh items or clean bathroom much. Very basic and the staff really are not interested. Expensive and really not worth it.

Stayed at the Meriton on Sussex this week. The check in process was the worst experience on check in that I have had in a long time. Our group had 3 rooms booked online through a third party site. The rooms had a company credit card attached to the booking. The reception staff refused to use this card and the 3 individual room inhabitants had to use there own personal cards to access the rooms. We were told we could have our rooms at 3pm and one member of our party sat in reception until 4pm, she was only given her room then because she kept asking. The book in process was ridiculously slow. The group next to us in reception took 20 mins to book in. Meanwhile the line of guest stretched to the front door. The room was lovely but needed maintenance, the glass door on our shower was so badly adjusted I'm surprised it hasn't smashed. I wont be staying here again.

Stayed at this Hotel mid 2022 as a couple and chose it largely based on location. If you don't want to read the whole review, my short version is: It was above and beyond what was expected. Hope to stay here again! This Hotel represents good value at around $200 AUD per night [May 2022]. The location is very central and close to most things in the area, just across a short footbridge to Darling Harbour, Chinese Gardens etc, and an easy 5 minute walk from Town Hall station.. Parkingwas available on site for additional cost. On check-in/out, and during the stay, staff werefriendly. Entering the room, cleanliness could be sescribed as perfect, and the bathroom was Spacious and included a bath and was well maintained and clean and soap and shampoos were provided and refreshed daily. There was also lovely fluffy towels and robes. The Hotel offered WiFi and from what I could tell it was uncapped.I would happily recommend this place. Be sure to check out my other reviews n the local area.

Discover Sydney from its heart at The Grace Hotel and be steps away from Darling Harbour and King Street Wharf, plus the best shopping, theatres and entertainment on offer. Standing beautifully restored today, the heritage listed 4 1/2 star Grace Hotel offers warm, personalised service and a unique blend of Art Deco charm and contemporary elegance.
Such a beautiful building but the rooms are minimalist in terms of comfort and are at stark odds to the rest of the building. The bed was not great in terms of comfort. Was happy with shower/ toilet though. Didn’t interact with staff much but when I did they were pleasant and helpful. It’s not a cheap hotel and nicely located but for the price we paid I will look elsewhere next time.

A fully equipped gym complete with a sauna. Famous for High Teas, Sir Stamford at Circular Quay has excellent one bedroom suites and one of Sydney's largest Presidential suites complete with a Steinway baby grand piano.
We've stayed at The Sir Stamford at Circular Quay several times. The location is the main reason we chose to stay here again. We requested a room with a Juliette Balcony so we had views of Circular Quay, and fresh air in our room. The bed and pillows were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and efficient. It was great getting overnight parking for an additional $10 for 24 hours.

Rydges World Square Sydney is centrally located on the corner of Pitt and Liverpool Streets, within the World Square shopping and business precinct in the CBD. This great contemporary hotel has a fantastic location with easy access to Sydney's major shopping areas, theatres and tourist attractions like Darling Harbour, either by Rail, walking or taxi.
Check-in was not smooth but can be better, but the room was comfortable enough and the there was enough facilities for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Breakfast was interesting, we came in half an hour before breakfast was supposed to close but the staff closed it way before we reached the restaurant. However, the manager was extremely kind and helped us to get a breakfast meal! Overall great service, an amazing location where all the train stations and bus stops are in close proximity to the hotel, but the rooms may need to have a modern refurbishing.
