I read the horrible reviews prior to coming but still booked here based on the discounted rate and it being last minute. There was hair on BOTH BEDS, sheets and comforter ! Looked like animal hair, plus there was hair on pillows too. Since we checked in so late we couldn’t get any new sheets and had to wait until morning when housekeeping came in. There were multiple roaches we saw in the room, dead and alive, we had to kill a few. They’re not like your average hotel, they actually act funny and try to refuse if you ask for new towels or linen everyday, as if you can’t get it dirty during your stay. The only positive thing I’d say is the manager was very efficient with giving me partial money back, I didn’t have to wait weeks like some of the other reviews stated. I just look at it as you get what you pay for. I didn’t expect it to be the Marriot, but I was really disgusted that my family and I had to lay on hair my first night.

Stayed 2 nights on business and the first night I was woke up to the sounds of foot steps near the bed. The second night in a different room woke up again to foot steps near the bed. Both times of the occurrence of at 3:05 am, then at 3:45 am. The closest door opened and woke me up again. I was pretty freaked out. I fell back to sleep and when I woke up to my alarm both dresser door were open. After my experience I’ll never stay there again!!

This hotel needs a solid unannounced brand QA inspection. Hotel is not in good condition and does not represent Marriott well. The location is good right off of I85 and next to restaurants such as Outback and Cracker Barrel. Made our reservation on line using a free night certificate. We arrived later on a Sunday evening and a young man took care of the check in. He wasn't wearing a name tag nor any kind of uniform. He didn't check any of the boxes that would have made this a memorable experience. Did not use our name, did not acknowledge status of Marriott Bonvoy, He did give each of us a welcome gift of a bag with a muffin, small water and granola bar. I reserved a King room but was given a double bed room. We were too tired to go back and ask for a King room. The corridor heading to the room was dirty - carpets need to be cleaned. Our guest room was ok. Case good are showing their age, a smaller size TV is on the table in front of the beds. The breakfast buffet was interesting to say the least. Hard boiled eggs were in the chafer with precooked omelets. The juice machine had out of order signs on them asked the very friendly attendant and she told me that supplier was of them. I wondered why someone didn't go purchase large jugs of juice at the local Wal Mart and have on the buffet for guests. There were wrapped breakfast sandwiches in a cold table that you could use to microwave. The waffle batter wasn't available. The most interesting thing on the buffet was the chocolate molten desserts. It was a little too early for me to have one of these but they did look decadent. The public restroom had a broken handle on the toilet. Overall the hotel needs a scrub down and a revisit to the standards that Marriott required of the Fairfield Inn brand. I was always told not to stay at a hotel or eat a restaurant that the sign is out. Well this sign has been this way for more than a year. I recommend they fix it. I realize this is tough times in the hotel industry but this hotel is just a good representation of Marriott. The attendant on the breakfast buffet (I believe her name was Samantha) was very friendly and hard working. Management should commend her for her hard work and positive attitude.

We entered the Hotel room on a cold night. It was just as cold in the room as it was outside. No Heat Was On!!! Freezing!!! We had to put the heat on 90 degrees and it was not comfortable til about 1am. When I turned on the water for the shower yellow and orange stuff came out. Yuck!! It took the water a few minutes to run clear, who wants to take a shower in that? I took a shower but my husband would not because it was so nasty. The bed was very hard like sleeping on a box spring. Only pillows there were small square pillows and my neck hurt for two days. Rough Night!!!!

I stay at this hotel about every other month when I have early morning business in the Gwinnett section of Atlanta. It is located on a less traveled side street, away from the 85 freeway and noise. It is very clean and the staff are super friendly and always professional. There is only one drawback and that is the only nearby restaurant is an Outback Steakhouse about 100 yards away, but that is a great place too.

Lots of stains on the carpet in my room. Chairs in the room were not comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, sheets were much softer than other hotel chains. The room was very quiet, even though next to the elevators and ice machine. I stayed three nights.

Experience SpringHill Suites by Marriott®, an all-suite hotel infused with stylish spaces and inspiring design, all at an affordable price. Work or relax with complimentary Wi-Fi and new breakfast offering fresh, hot and healthy options.
I needed a place to stay overnight to attend a high school homecoming. This was the best price I could find in the Cumming area and I found it using Expedia, which was the best of the services offering low-price hotel rooms. This new hotel is everything you want in a overnight lodging. Everything listed in their advertising was present in their hotel. The rooms are arranged in a unique and pleasant floor plan. They were clean and it was just a joy to stay there. They had the continental breakfast, which allows you to put something on your stomach to face the day. The front desk personnel were very engaging and pleasant. It was a very easy check-in and check-out. The only negative I noticed was that there were large crumbs under the one of the tables in the breakfast area when I checked in, and that were still there when I checked out in the morning. This is a minor thing and didn't not impact my opinion of the hotel, it was just a data point. Of all the hotels in the vicinity, this will be the one I shoot for, should the need arise in the future. You won't be disappointed.

My name is TJ. I own and operate a mobile repair business. I have served metro Atlanta since 1984.I have stayed there a couple of times in the past and the place is okay. However on the night of January 15 2022 a lady had flagged me down and asked for a jump start. While waiting for the battery to gain a charge. Some lunatic approaches and is screaming obscenities threatening bodily harm. A white male in middle 30's slender build reddish blond hair yelling I'll kick your ass out front off of the property. Without introduction or any authority demanding I stop what I was doing and turn my vehicle off. This individual was either drunk or high on something. If he is in any way affiliated with the institution he lacks respect and is clearly a danger to those in and around this facility. Showing no credentials I took my cables got in my service vehicle and left. I will report this incident to the owners. The lady who had asked for help had apparently left before I did as she was no where to be found. Hope she is okay.
