Reviewed By fergusm482Wonderful boutique hotel right on the lake. Lovely room Excellent food Fabulous view And very friendly staff We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Parking was a little tricky … lucky I’m an excellent driver ? Such a lovely part of the world and enjoying the sunset with a cool glass of wine was magical. Highly recommend… we’ll be back again!

Reviewed By petrafkoesterWir hatten das "Reisezimmer" mit sehr gemütlichem Bett, Aussicht auf den See und Mitbringseln aus der ganzen Welt. Lori und Leo sind ganz wunderbare Gastgeber*innen, wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt, Fähranleger und Bahnhof sind direkt um die Ecke. Lori spricht gut Englisch und berät auch gerne bei Tourenplanung etc.

Service is uneven, bed uncomfortable, view is great
Reviewed By AT17AMy review is both for the b&b and the restaurant. We stayed 4 nights in July. We had a room unfortunately without lake view (they were fully booked) but there was a big balcony shared with one more room. The room is basic but ok! Closet, desk, good bathroom. The bed is WAY too soft, VERY uncomfortable in my taste. The AC is very good, cool and without a sound. No fridge which could be useful. The best thing about the hotel is the pool club Giardino Marilago. It’s included in the room rate. You choose your sun beds and you have them the whole week. Pool, bar, the most beautiful view. Although food at pool is awful. Breakfast at hotel is good! Apart from all the Italian sweet stuff they have natural yoghurt and eggs that you boil yourself. The service is uneven. The staff at check in and restaurants are sweet and helpful but the owners are rude. The lady looks irritated at all times and refuses to speak English. the man has his office opposite our room and sits there smoking, walks around the corridors smoking which smells in our room. Not very nice! According to the staff, they only have one staff member speaking English. And no English menus. They are open for lunch until 2 pm, we came 1.40 but we’re told it was closed. There are no other restaurants up on this hill so we had to eat the pool club and their food is disgusting. We had dinner at the restaurant once, the pizzas are ok! A little tasteless but not the worst nor the best. When the waitress opened our wine she smelled the cork and said it tasted funny. We trusted her, tasted the wine and thought maybe it tasted a little weird. Later she came back saying the wine is ok so we had to trust her and drink it. Nothing really wrong with the wine but it was not so tasty and we thought it was a bit weird of her saying at first it was not good and then changing her mind... Sulzano is not the most fun or cosy village around Iseo but the hotel and pool club has gorgeous views over the lake and Monte Isola. Actually I would recommend staying in some other village like Iseo or Clusane (they have better restaurants). The hotel is up on a hill, maybe 10 min walk. A bit tough when it’s really hot but if you’re a normally fit person no problem.

Most beautiful place at Iseo lake!
Reviewed By Lu CA very nice room (in fact: a little cottage!). A beautiful place - perfect to relax. A host as friendly as can be. Great breakfast - on a terrace right next to the lake. A great swimming pool - clean and big. The view - incomparable! Direct access to the lake - own beach. The garden is a park - very nice and well maintained. Only little downside: Some car noise from the street. But it calms down at night.

Fantastic views ...and amazing breakfast
Reviewed By MaryhillmagyarsThis was my 2nd visit to Sulzano. And my first time staying here.. but I hope not my last. The views are absolutely fantastic and well worth the steep walk. It’s about 20mins walk from the heart of Sulzano and only a few mins from a restaurant and a pool with payable public access. I don’t eat much at breakfast but it is huge and delicious and you have 3 options to choose from. It’s a shame I couldn’t eat more. Owner was really friendly too. The only tiny criticism for me is that as it is a bit of a walk it would be great to have a small fridge for some water /cooling drinks.

Appartamento carino, ma molto scomodo
Reviewed By BennyenduroAppartamento carino situato in riva al lago in una buona posizione, arredato con cura, molto bello il tetto in legno. Tuttavia molto scomodo da trovare e da raggiungere in auto, anche solo per scaricare le valigie ( i vicini non molto simpatici non aiutano ). L’appartamento è situato al secondo piano senza ascensore e per accedervi vi è solamente una scala molto stretta e ripida, difficile salire con trolley e valigie. Poche salviette per quattro persone, il soppalco è molto caldo e il tetto è davvero basso, i due letti ( con le ruote ) sono separati, scomodo per una coppia . La pulizia del bagno e dell’appartamento potrebbe essere migliorata. Parcheggio assolutamente assente: bisogna parcheggiare dove si trova posto, se si ha la fortuna di trovarlo ( preparate la moneta perché ve ne servirà ). La ragazza che ci ha accolti è stata molto carina.

Reviewed By bstella23Questo B&B è davvero qualcosa in più di un semplice B&B. La padrona di casa con una gentilezza squisita ci ha fatto sentire fin dal primo momento come a casa di amici. La sistemazione è in realtà un ampio appartamento con una splendida vista sul lago, dove si respira un'aria di altri tempi. La casa consente anche l'accesso su di un bel giardino con fiori e piante di limone dove poter prender il sole o leggere in totale relax. Al mattino è il suono delle campane della bella chiesa vicina a svegliarci e disponendo di una grande cucina, è possibile degustare una buona colazione per poi partire alla scoperta di Montisola e dei suoi pittoreschi paesini! Week end indimenticabile, immersi in un'atmosfera d'altri tempi!

Reviewed By marcov885Appartamento dotato di ogni comfort(compreso vasca idromassaggio ),con bella terrazza parziale vista lago.Il titolare gentilissimo e disponibile vi farà trovare il frigo fornito dei generi necessari per una prima colazione semplice ma completa.L’appartamento è dotato di cucina quindi chi lo desidera può prepararsi i pasti a suo piacimento.Fornito di parcheggio privato adatto ad auto medio-piccole.A pochi passi dall’appartamento potete imbarcarvi sul battello per Monte Isola luogo che merita una visita.Non ho dato il massimo della valutazione perché per le mie abitudini il letto era veramente scomodo(rete e materasso datati)ma credo che con un piccolo investimento questa pecca possa essere sanata.Prezzi adeguati a quanto offerto.Torneremo sicuramente perché siamo stati veramente bene,sperando di trovare un nuovo letto.

Buon posizione, ottima accoglienza
Reviewed By GabriRocketAbbiamo alloggiato una notte presso il b&b Portofranco e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La stanza si trova al primo piano di una villetta, dove risiede il sig. Daniele (persona squisita). Stanza molto ampia, bagno grande e pulito(fuori dalla stanza). Colazione ok, così come la posizione. Il b&b si trova in una posizione leggermente sopraelevata di Sulzano, lontano dal traffico e con parcheggio free disponibile praticamente di fronte l'appartamento. Consigliato!
