We stayed in Abbey's Spa Cottage. Old world charm but with modern kitchen and bathrooms. Fully contained. Fantastic view across the beach. Close to the Nut and the hotel so didn't need to use the car while there. Had dinner at the hotel, excellent food! Internet didn't work in the cottage but that wasn't a children for us, might be for international travelers. Cottage has off street parking.

Stay in one of the most desired positions in town with sea views and modern facilities. Stanley Village is located on absolute waterfront, in the harbour precinct of Stanley. Check in is at the Stanley Hotel, so while you are checking make sure you book a table for dinner.
View was good from the room. Bed was comfortable. The location was outside of the main town. Room was cramped with little room for our bags (had to stow them under the wall table. Rooms with shower baths are a turn off however there was plenty of room.

Hanlon House is everything a seaside accommodation should be - a perfect mix of history, character and hospitality. Centrally located under the Nut and close to the beach. Enjoy our quality en-suited rooms and spectacular dinning room overlooking the sea...
We stayed in a lovely self-contained cottage overlooking the nearby bay. It was idyllic. The cottage contained almost everything that we needed for our two days. The only thing missing was laundry facilities, which were in the main house just a few steps away. An outstanding place in a gorgeous setting.

Beachside Retreat is a waterfront hideaway in north west Tasmania, where four contemporary beach houses, just for couples, nestle on the dunes, overlooking a secluded, private beach. A 3 B/R spa lodge, adjacent to the homestead , is available for 5 adults, or 4 adults and 1 child, in 2 double bedrooms, one with an adjoining single room.
We were pleasantly surprised on arrival to find a split -level good sized small house. The house was stylish with well appointed furniture. Whilst it is beachside, it is a bit of a struggle to access the beach due to local regulations. It is a bit of a walk through the grass to reach the sand. This was explained to us on arrival when we collected our keys. A suggestion would be when the house is vacated and cleaned for the pantry items to be checked and restocked. There was pepper/salt, oil in the pantry. The oil however was almost empty. Also, we didn't realise there was no WiFi available and we had to use our personal hotspots whilst staying. It was only a 5 minute drive in to Stanley which was an easy drive in to the very pretty town.

at the beach, and not quite at the beach - Stanley. One two bedroom cottage situated at Godfreys Beach, and two, two bedroom cottages in the heart of the village, all within easy access to Stanley's many delights.
We stayed as a couple in No.5 Not@theBeach just recently in October. The cottages are well appointed and maintained, light and airy with plenty of natural light. Extremely clean, good bedding and amenities. This is a two bedroom cottage and while we only needed one bedroom the set-up is perfect for a small family or couples to share as the family, dine, kitchen area is very large and well planned. The bathroom is a good size and washing machine is always a plus. Communication with Sam for booking and check-in was simple. You are just a 5 minute walk into the town centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay here. Cottage was very comfortable and warmed well for the cooler evening. We had our own jetty and Private outside area with picturesque views. Great for privacy. Quiet and calming. Was also fun to feed fish in pond with food provided. Large fish which jumped up. Also nice walks through gardens down to sea edge. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommend for couples wanting time out.

The Ark was a great place to stay in the beautiful town of Stanley. We booked the whole place for our group of friends from Melbourne. The hosts were very helpful and obliging. The breakfasts every day were great, all fresh local ingredients, with jams and chutneys etc home made. The whole place was very clean and luxuriously appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable and all sheets and towels of the highest quality. The location was fabulous. We will definitely return.
