Reviewed By mes227The hotel check in was fast & easy. The rooms are ok - the wall mount heat/AC a bit noisy and there is more parking lot noisy than I’d like, but otherwise fine. The bars have a very limited selection of spirits. The casino and restaurants all smell of smoke. The fish tacos at Panho & Willies are perhaps the worst I’ve had.

We stopped over and back at this Fairfield Inn because they accept dogs. Larry, the manager, and his entire staff did absolutely everything to accommodate us and Jake: first floor room, near an outside door, moving our return date, etc!! Rooms are clean and quiet; no odors. Poop bags offered out front. Plenty of grass. Continental breakfast is good w plenty of options. Nice appetizers in the afternoon. Great access off the freeway and close to good restaurants!! HIGHLY recommend this hotel‼️

Reviewed By JiggsNVThe toilet was dirty and there were cigarette butts and candy wrappers in the hall When we went down for dinner after arriving at 8:45 we went down at 9:05. Every restaurant was closed. Something about doing a a deep clean. All of them???? Had to walk 2 block at night to get something to eat. We have been staying here for years. So disappointed!

We were in the lobby waiting to be checked in for about half an hour because the clerk was new and was locked out of the computer system. We finally made it up stairs and the non-smoking room was on the smoking floor and it was strong. The bedding was questionable at best, the comforter was soiled and should have been laundered, not sure about the sheets since there were hairs scattered here and there and impressions but it was late and as I said the clerk was new and was unable to get the manager to help him. The mattress comfortable, firm and newer, towels & bathroom clean. Mostly quite with air and a window able to be cracked. Fridge and microwave working and cold, furnishings were good and all the light bulbs working. Good water pressure but the smoke is a deal breaker. The clerk mentioned that the name of the motel was about to change. Wyndham has really gone down hill, Best Western is still alright but seems on the same path.

Surprisingly nice for the price
Reviewed By Global569166Surprisingly nice…new bed was very comfortable, room was clean, our dog was happy to be on the first floor. Very quiet. Would have liked blackout curtains and better quality towels…they were very thin. Easy to get to off the Highway. Booked on line, no problems with anything, really. We travel brewed Arizona and Oregon twice a year and will stay here again.

Reviewed By sjscolaro77Michele has been great the whole visit. She has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is as expected. Arrived at 2:30 am and was laying bed on pillow by 2:35 am! No issues and only 20 minutes away from going into Reno to visit UNR.

Do yourself a favor - don't stay here
Reviewed By Pathfinder166025This place is set up for homeless families with vouchers. As someone else noted, the walls are paper thin. Which means lots of noise and it is hard to sleep. The hotel advertises "free internet." I paid for the upgrade and in fact got no internet. Because of where it is in Sparks, there is little to no cell service. The TV is blurry. There is a full-sized refrigerator and a little stovetop, but no utensils or cookware (although they will sell you a pot for $40 at the front desk.) No hair dryer. No coffee maker. No room service. The parking area has homeless schizophrenic panhandlers who are busy getting arrested (so at least there is law enforcement.) At the far northeast side of town, the only thing this hotel is close to, is Elko. I have asked to move my room to a quieter room that might have cell service and internet, but they constantly claim they are "sold out," (although they are constantly checking new people in.) This is probably because they don't want to pay a hotel maid to clean the room. If you want clean towels or linens, you have to bag them and exchange them at the front desk. There is no way to clean your room - no sponges, no soap, nada. Do yourself a favor, stay at a hotel in Reno and save money and get a quieter nicer place.
