I was here for my nephew first Car show at the Lander Center. The staff was amazing the breakfast was on point I spoke with the manager Denae Strong about how I'm enjoying my stay and the rooms was clean. Dorothy was great at helping me with turkey breakfast sandwich and cheese omelet I will return here again for a vacation again

Our Hilton Garden Inn Memphis/Southaven, MS hotel is located minutes from Memphis in the suburb of Southaven, Mississippi. We are close to numerous restaurants, shopping, entertainment, office buildings and industrial parks. Major nearby corporations are Medtronic, CarQuest, Baptist Memorial Hospital and Fed Ex. We are located adjacent to the new Southaven Towne Center which offers over 20 restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The Hilton Garden Inn Memphis/Southaven hotel features 117 rooms, each equipped with a spacious work desk with two phones (2 lines each), voicemail and data port, as well as the Mirra ergonomic chair by Herman Miller. Each room also offers the Garden Sleep System, and high definition television. A hospitality center in each room includes a microwave, refrigerator, and coffeemaker. Iron, ironing board and hair dryers are in all rooms.
Not So Charming
Reviewed By TenDivaThis is not the first time that I have stayed at this location, but it is the first time that I have had a less than great experience. Hospitality seems to have gone out the window at this location, just as it has so many other places. Understaffed? Not sure. I didn’t find any of the staff to be particularly outgoing. The front desk staff was less than enthusiastic, and the breakfast waitress was doing it all by herself and was clearly overwhelmed. I did find the room to be clean, but the mattress was not comfortable at all. This location is right in the thick of things, and very convenient to shopping and dining. I would advise you to check your receipt closely during checkout. As a Gold Honors member, I was entitled to credits which I applied to breakfast. However, I found that I was actually charged for the breakfast. I had to reach back out to the hotel by phone to secure a refund.

Disgusting Rooms!!!!
Reviewed By karad584Hands down the grossest hotel I’ve ever encountered! I am appalled at the condition of this Hilton property! Our room was incredibly dirty! Thank goodness I brought Clorox wipes to do my own cleaning! This place is a dump totally not worth $270 a night! Staff were rude and difficult to work with! We couldn’t use one of the hvac units because when running it smelled so badly. Thermostats we’re both broken. Everything was dusty and dirty. The soap holder on the shower was TAPED to the wall! The walls and ceilings were stained. The fridge was DISGUSTING! The pictures speak for themselves. So so so bad! Never again!!!! I would NOT recommend staying at this property to anyone!

A Tired and Dirty Hotel
Reviewed By Ada GFrom the moment we walked in, it was a gross experience. The lobby smelled. There was no one at the front desk. After approximately 5 minutes the attendant walked out from a room behind the desk. She gave us our room key and we decided to check out the room. As we enter the elevator, we notice not only does it smell, but pieces of the signs in the elevator have been ripped off. We get to our room, the hallway smells, the room smells and one the ends had dirty linens. We ask for another room, same issue with smell and then we find a disgusting stain in the bathtub. My husband shows the attendant a picture of the bathtub. Her reply was, “It’s just rust!” I’m sorry?! Really? She said that she did not have any other rooms to offer. That’s ok. You could not pay me to stay there. I’m so accustomed to the Drury level of professional staff and cleanliness. We would have stayed at the Drury, but they were booked. This was a disgusting joke. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Disappointing
Reviewed By boschert5We stayed at this hotel for a baseball tournament. Upon check in they informed us that there was a towel shortage and the room/bathroom were average at best. The worst part was the size of the pool. It was honestly the tiniest pool I have ever seen. They try to make it look larger in the picture but I can assure you it is a sorry excuse for a pool. Definitely not something the boys could utilize for the weekend. We had to hang out in the courtyard instead. There were a few parents who ordered food from the cafe and said it was poor quality and overpriced. The staff was very friendly which is why I am giving it three stars. I don't believe any of the issues are their fault and I appreciated their hospitality.

Overbooked???? WTF?????

Showed up today to check in, only to have the poor young kid staffing the desk all alone tell us the hotel was OVERBOOKED and we were being sent to a different hotel a mile away! So why couldn't someone call us to tell us of the change BEFORE we arrived? Why were we not told until we ARRIVED after a long day's drive? I can only conclude that management here is utterly incompetent. We have traveled several times a year, for the last 15 years, and NO hotel has EVER pulled this crap on us! So be warned: just because you have a reservation secured with a credit card, that doesn't mean you'll actually be staying here!
