stayed here in the off-season of October. small hotel, not busy then but most things running. we were originally checked in to one of the suites. these are definetely old, and urgently need renovation. the door wasn't working, the decor was very bad, cold rooms, definitely avoid these apartments. after one member of our party left, we reported these issues to the lovely staff. very generously, they checked us in to the new aurora rooms, and because it was off season, we got an upstairs one. the decor are so amazing, huge windows and incredible views. love these, and they most definitely made up for the disappointing suites. in terms of facilities, the parking is enough, especailly in october, meaning we could park the rental car there. activities range, we did the sea safari, other things include fishing and kayaking. the staff here are lovely, the manager is so kind, the reception staff were warm and welcoming, the lovely Edward from Lithuania was a waiter that was always so receptive and attentive, and the brilliant Eamonn from Ireland was a great activites manager. Carlos (i think that was his name, so sorry) was absolutely brilliant, and was always hilarious. speaking of food, all of the food was absolutely great, but occasionally not everything on the menu was available, as it was in between season. food was so delicious though! location is beautiful, and we hiked up to europe's first hydroelectric dam at the top of the mountain. even though it doesnt work anymore, the lake is so beautiful. Senja is a beautiful island, and this is a brilliant location to base yourself in, on the most beautiful part of the island

The small and cosy hotel with the personal touch. 6 hotelrooms and 2 cabins, situated right at the westcoast of Senja. Close to all the main attractions, like the Husfjellet hike, Ersfjord beach, National Tourist Route, Northern lights watch. A cosy cafe and restaurant offers good meals, also a bar.
Fantastic location in front of the sea, close to beautiful beaches and minutes from the hiking route to Husfjellet. The service was great and the staff were very helpful in recommending sites to visit. The restaurant was also very good and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Highly recommended!

Visit the beautiful island Tranøya at Senja, Norway. Stay in the old vicarage from 1856 by the church built in 1773. Enjoy good, local food, nature, farming, hikingtrails, kayaking, standup-paddle, fishing, birdwatching, silence and much more. We offers guided tours where we visit the viking graves and tell you about the people who were living at the island for the last 2000 years.
We (2 couples) were the only guests the night we stayed so we got personal service from Wenche and had the place to ourselves. The rooms were excellent, we had a walk around the island and dinner and breakfast there too. The breakfast was a norwegian style (no breakfast cereals) but we polished it all off including making sandwiches for our lunch after we left. Wenche picked us up from the jetty in her boat to take us to and from the island and was helpful and friendly. One of our group even fed the sheep with her. There is an interesting church next door which would be great for a wedding! We both had the larger bedrooms on the top floor which have better views and ensuite bathrooms.

We chose to stay at this site based upon Trip Advisor recommendations . Well you didn’t let us down. Even though it was snowing and -1 degrees the location and atmosphere I must admit was very romantic and cosy. Wherever you looked there were photo opportunities, the food was terrific and the staff were so extremely helpful and accommodating. We stayed in an ocean view room (14) which was on the 2nd story, great views highly recommend it. View from our balcony attached. The only issue I had was the illuminated fire exit sign the lounge room that lit the whole place up. I recommend you cover it up with a piece of cardboard or a towel. Now being in the field of safety, I will question why you have a fire exit sign pointing to a 2nd story balcony with no way down, you would have to jump off? I still highly recommend it for a stay.

Easy to find i wasn't expecting to find no one for check in. All was good, room was cozy with a good bathroom. I'd like to have soap included, travelling in fly&drive mode. Everything went fine, room was clean even if a little small. Good cost / quality ratio
