There are merely 35 hotel rooms against a wellness area of 5,000m², which is why our guests can really enjoy exclusiveness, rest and relaxation. Many decorations, an unconventional mix of styles and natural construction materials are responsible for the lakeside castle's particular aura, which our guests love and appreciate so much. And should the hotel owner pour water over heated rocks in the sauna by himself once in a while, this produces a smile of satisfaction on the faces of quite a few guests...
Good hote, good staff, nice SPA
Reviewed By CarlosDiazGuerraStayed here two nights during a business trip. Although it was winter, it can easily seen this hotel in summer can offer a lot of alternatives for kids and family alike. The breakfast was awesome. Plenty of options and good quality food. Food in the restaurant OK. The nearby lake is a nice "perk" and give you the opportunity to relax, jog, run or exercise whatever your needs or desires are. The front desk staff is awesome and the room, although not that comfy, it can offer the basic needs for a relaxing stay. The best part is the SPA Pool and the SPA iteself. Excellent.

Our new hotel "Strandhotel" having got 42 rooms and a restaurant has been inviting you to spend your holiday at the lake of Senftenberg since April 2006. Located directly at the shore it offers its own beach and a lawn for sunbathing to our guests. The hotel is only 1,5 kilometres away from the centre of the town. There you can find a lot of facilities for leisure activities for each season.

Reviewed By CarlosDiazGuerraStayed here two nights during a business trip. Hotel services are limited to CoVid19 measures. Front desk staff is nice and helpful and the room has the basic ammenities to make your stay pleasant. Will return to this hotel in the future.

Im Eingangsbereich erwartet Sie ein historisches Erdgeschoss mit Kreuzgewölbe. Auf Ihrem Zimmer spüren Sie den Charme vergangener Zeiten durch urige, aufgearbeitete Fachwerkbalken. Die moderne Einrichtung rundet das Konzept "Modern trifft Alt" ab. Wir freuen uns auf Ihren Besuch!
Big surprise in a small town
Reviewed By Lance MWe loved this hotel! It is an excellent mix of old architecture and eclectic, minimalist modern touches. Our room is listed as an "appartment," (for us English speakers, Ferienwohung means "vacation apartment") not a "hotel room," and that is an apt description. Refrigerator, stove, kitchen sink, tools to cook. There is a lot of space to move around. The ceilings are high. The bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom has a very nice walk-in shower. The building still has its old "Fachwerk," the structural wood beams that are common in old European houses. Different from many charming old buildings that have been thoroughly modernized into glossy, clinical, repetitive, rectangular copies of each other, this hotel retains its old-world charm and warmth. Here, you know that you are in Germany! Our room is quiet, clean, and interesting to look at. This room/apartment has a large balcony. There is a spacious elevator. Finding the parking lot in the back of the hotel can be a little tricky. Just call the front desk. You will have to go to one the nearby cafés for breakfast, or you can make your own. On some mornings there is an open-air market where you can buy the things you would need to make your own breakfast. Next-door to the hotel is a is a restaurant that serves excellent German food, and offers some very good German beers. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to stay here. Next time!

Reviewed By Franky1278Wir verbrachten sehr schöne Urlaubstage im Ferienpark Senftenberg. Der Ferienpark liegt in einer Wohngegend, gegenüber von einem Kindergarten/Hort. Wir hatten ein modern eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit Terrasse. Es gibt eine Grillecke und eine kleine Spielecke für Kinder mit einer Schaukel. Das WLAN funktioniert nicht im Haus, nur draußen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Zum See sind es ca. 10-15 Gehminuten. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Reviewed By Laird43I was already here for the restaurant, which is really good if you like lokal home cooked food. But this is about the hotel. The entire building is a big, big blockhouse . I never never seen. It’s quite unique and the biggest block house in Europe. Now you might think that the blockhouse is something basic for an overnight stay, but you would be far off. The rooms have all the amendment you need. For example Hairdryer, very important for the Ladies. Spacious rooms. Nice , comfortable bed and the breakfast is great. Do you want anything more ? Okay. Easy , easy to check in. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself and the staff made it a very good stay , so I think they deserve the 5 points. There is nothing more to say.

Schöne Stadt-Ferienwohnung
Reviewed By Franky1278Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte in der Ferienwohnung Sarah. Die Wohnung liegt in einer Nebenstraße der Fußgängerzone in einem Wohnhaus. Alles ist total sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. In der Küche sind alle wichtigen Geräte vorhanden. Das moderne Bad verfügt über eine große Dusche. Zum Hafen sind es ca. 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß. Nur der Parkplatz ist etwas entfernt, zum Be-und Entladen darf man kurz vor dem Haus halten.

Die Apartments am Schlosspark, bieten sowohl Apartments als auch Zimmer mit voll ausgestatteter Küchenzeile, kostenlosem WLAN und Sat-TV , Stadtzentral und ufernah, 350m vom neu entstehenden Hafen Senftenberger See, 8 km vom LausitzringSpielplatz, Sommergarten mit Grillplatz, Wäsche und Reinigung inklusive, Internet, Verleih von E-Bikes, am RadrundwegWäscheraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner.Die umliegende Lausitzer Landschaft ist ideal für Wander- und Radtouren geeignet.Auf Wunsch kann das Frühstück in den Zimmern und Apartments serviert werden.

Reviewed By Tilo70Wir hatten ein Apartment im Dachgeschoss gemietet, welches in der Sommerzeit bei über 30 Grad nicht gerade optimal war. Aber der Vermieter hat für diese hitzigen Tage vorgesorgt und uns mit Ventilatoren reichlich versorgt. Ansonsten wurden wir sehr gut umsorgt angefangen vom Vermieter bis hin zum Hausmeister. Alle Mitarbeiter waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein ganz großes Dankeschön noch mal an Björn, den besten Mitarbeiter des Hauses, ohne die anderen abzuwerten. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können dieses Haus nur empfehlen.

Small price mixed with good sleep and very kindful staff
Reviewed By Sonja Wif you just want to sleep, so ask the front desk; there are small rates for just sleeping with nothing else; the hotel is located next to maintrainstation (10min to walk) and 8 min to the hospital; you have WIFI for free, TV and clean rooms with comfortable bed. Well, if you are interesting in more comfort and Breakfast you`ll also be satsifacted; ask the front desk as well.
