Pian delle More is a humlet plunged in a centuries old wood. Just a short way from Sassetta and 15 kilometres from the blue flags beaches of the Etruscan Coast. You will find accommodation in confortable flats placed in a beautiful mediterranean garden with two swimming pool. It offers the opportunity of spending your holiday into nature, sea and wellness. Important is the enogastronomic tradition with fine wines and the typical dishes.
We had the pleasure of staying in la Ginestre for 10 nights in August. Upon arrival we were greeted by one of Lucia's colleagues who showed us around the house and grounds. We were given a substantial file with all the local information in which included all of the local spas, markets, beaches and local wooden toy makers!! We traveled down with our 18 moth and 6 year old daughter and the house was perfect. With a garden to the front and rear meticulously maintained daily by the gardner and a child friendly pool that is also cleaned every morning, we couldn't have asked for more. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need to make the basics with a washing machine available in Lucia's office should you need to wash anything. The houses were spotless when we arrived and a lot of care and attention had been given to the decor. Beautiful pieces of furniture and art work adorn the rooms both upstairs and down. The beds are rather firm and can be made up into singles or put together prior to arrival. The pool is surrounded by a low fence meaning the children can play in the garden area to the front with out the worry of them wondering in to the pool area. The pool is also not heated. it can be chilly when you first get in but you soon acclimatise and it becomes a must after lying around in the sun. A must when you're here with children is a list to Stuarts toy work shop. He is a Scottish fellow and makes the most amazing wooden toys for children. His house is a short walk away and is very welcoming. The location of Pian delle More is somewhat remote in the country. You are however only a 5 minute drive from Sassetta. There you will find a bank with cash point, a pizza restaurant as well as more formal restaurants, a pharmacy and a small rural food shop selling the essentials (the quality is amazing though and selection better than any at home). Further afield back in Donoratico and adjacent to the SS1 motorway you will find a COOP supermarket and a Penny Market. The later being smaller but still with a great selection. If you are driving in by car from one of the local airports or on a road trip, we'd recommend stopping at one of these before you arrive. Hindsight is a wonderful thing when the shops are a 25 minute drive back down a winding road!! Being in the countryside also means you are susceptible to midges and mosquitos. They are around and they will bite if you aren't covered up in the evening or have repellent applied. Sadly I forgot one evening and was a Smorgasbord for them. The houses and flats all have mesh on the window so you can keep them wide open in the night and not worry about them coming in. You might have to do the usual evening hunt for any that slipped in but we were lucky there. All in all we had a wonderful time here. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice setting, in pure tranquility. A nicely kept agriturismu on farmland with their own produce, including animals, fruit and vegetables. Rooms are clean, and the general cleanliness of the guesthouse was very good. Breakfast included fresh fruit, savoury and sweet items all produced in house. We also dined one night at their restaurant. Food very good, also thee setting outside was very pleasant. We didn't make use of the pool are but we went to have a look and it seemed nice and well sized pool. Rooms and furniture inside is rustic, typical of a tuscan countryside villa. Perhaps some furniture, interior layouts and general infrastructure needs some upgrading, but on the whole very pleasant. Perfect place to relax and cut off from the hectic life. Also good to go swimming in the Tuscan coast nearby. The closest beach is 30mins by car which is quite good.

Campo di Carlo is situatedin the Province of Livorno, approximately 5 km from Sassetta and 16 km from the sea of the Etruscan Riviera Tuscany. Cristina have completely restored their antique stone farmhouse, with 8 bedrooms, each with private bathroom. In the morning, we prepare a rich breakfast buffet, composed of bread, toast, cereals, eggs, butter, jam, ham and salami, cheese, coffee, fresh fruits, fruit juices etc.During the colder months, guests can have breakfast in the breakfast room, whereas during the summer months, guests do usually have breakfast outside.
We found out beautiful escape in Cristina's beautiful property from "corona fake&crazy times" in Europe. Her services were perfect again. And what's about Campo di Carlo itself? You have to enjoy it to understand philosophy, hospitality and generosity of this agriturismo. Thank you so much Cristina!!

The villa includes nine double rooms and two suites. The stylish decoration of the rooms is typical of this beautiful region. Each Room has its own generous on-suite bathroom, ceiling fan, satellite TV, WLAN,refrigerator. Even in the height of summer, all the rooms are kept comfortably cool without air conditioning by the arcades running around the outside of the house. The villa has its own restaurant with indoor fireplace and glazed winter garden or roofed terraces. Our Tuscan chef spoils you in the morning and evening with fresh and healthy culinary dedlicacies from our organic products and biological livestock.
We had an amazing time at the villa. It was the perfect place for our large family group to spend the week in such a relaxing and tranquil environment. The beautiful swimming lake with lounging area was a key element to the holiday, as well as the well equipped kitchen and range of social areas. We didn’t want to leave!

Very charming atmosphere, absolutely quite area, cooling down for the daily life. All people are very friendly and helpful, the service in the restaurant excellent while providing the tasty food. Our small house bosco does provide everything you need , but it is really small and for huge persons maybe too enter the shower :-) All overall it was a very pleasant stay which ended with a personal accident ( brocken foot, but also in this chaotic situation the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Living room with kitchenette and a double sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom. Swimming pool with solarium
We ended up staying here two months. We would have liked to stay longer, but obligations forced us to leave. Absolutely a fantastic get-a-away with a lot of things in close proximity. Would definitely recommend!

We paid for four hours fro 12midday but, despite reception adjoining what was clearly a restaurant, we were not told that, other than spring water, there would be no refreshments available. When we enquired at about 1:30 pm we were treated EXTREMELY DISCOURTEOUSLY and told that they did not serve food and what we could have would be a tasting of their biodynamic produce. So we had one small yoghurt. Very rudely we were told that if we wanted to take the long hot hike to the restaurant we would have to convert to full day admission - another€15 each! What a pity a lovely place spoiled by rude staff!

Tenuta di Seripa is a super laid back place in the Tuscan hills. The property is nice and authentic, the views are stunning (no neighbours), and the owner (Massimo) and his staff very friendly. It feels as if you rent a great villa with a pool, with super friendly hosts that are there when you need them and stay in background when you're enjoying the pool or fresh wind. Close to villages with great restaurant options (ask Massimo) but we chose to stay 2 out of 3 nights at Tenuta di Seripa (small menu selection, but very high quality). Also close to (40 min) nice beaches (Barrati).

Torneremo sicuramente!
