Bosnia and Herzegovina's fascinating capital Sarajevo nestles among dramatic peaks, a bustling and welcoming city. War took its toll, with the 1992-1996 siege hitting hard. But the lively, diverse, museum-rich city has been almost entirely reconstructed. Don't miss Bijambare caves, set in thick forests and amid lakes to the north of the city, or Bosna Springs, from which the country takes its name. Site of 1984's Winter Olympics, Sarajevo offers spectacular skiing on Mount Bjelasnica Jahorina.

We booked a junior suite room for 1 night, and it turned out to be a 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen, 1.5 bath, a separate living room/study, and a terrace. What a great deal! My only minor complaint was the towel situation- we didn’t have two full sets of towels and the half bath didn’t have any. But since we were only there for one night, it wasn’t a big deal. The hotel is centrally located and surrounded by tons of bars. Parking is at a lot nearby for 10 euros/day (with the hotel discount). The pool/sauna was another nice treat after week-long vacation in the Balkan. Staff was friendly and check-in process was fast and easy. Highly recommended.

I had planned a stay in Sarajevo at the Old Town Hotel but unfortunately on the day of departure I had a car accident and I was unable to take the plane to Bosnia. I wrote to the hotel if they could take into account the situation and not charge me for the overnight stay: on the same day they charged me the total cost of the overnight stay Really thank you for your availability and understanding: you are absolutely not worthy of further attention; I will return to Bosnia for sure but you will certainly never see me again Carmela Italian tour guide

Hotel Colors Inn is a four-star hotel, located in the city center of Sarajevo. It is situated in Kosevo Street, a picturesque part of the city, in the charming building dating back to the Austro-Hungarian period. Using their skills and creativity, young architects managed to maintain the special and specific architectural spirit of the part of the town where the hotel is located, and at the same time enriching it by urban details and colours, making it an authentic oasis of comfort. Colors Inn Hotel Sarajevo has 37 luxury single and double rooms and private parking - which is of particular importance, considering that the hotel is located in the epicentre of the urban part of the city. The hotel also has a comfortable and creatively designed restaurant where the guests may enjoy the culinary delights of unspoiled nature, despite being located in the centre of the city. Although Colors Inn Hotel is only 200 m away from the main road, it exudes in peace because of its cleverly designed architecture. Near the hotel there are BBI Shopping Centre, the city's synonym for a one-stop-shop, banks, institutions and embassies. The urban walking zone begins at the monument of "The Eternal Flame - Vjecna vatra" and it is only a three-minute walk away from the hotel. The Great Park, a legendary green oasis and the city's "lungs," is at the back of the hotel, and only a few meters away, next to Second secondary school, there is another place to relax, the sumptuous Park of Light - park Svjetlosti. Part of the city in which the hotel is located is very rich in authentic restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, theatres. Within a radius of one kilometre, hotel guests can use almost the entire indigenous offer of Sarajevo. Regardless of whether your visit to Sarajevo is for business or if you are in town for the pure pleasure and vacation, Colors Inn Hotel is an ideal choice and a unique city break hotel that you inevitably must visit if you wish to complete your experience of Sarajevo.
I stayed in this hotel 3 weeks ago and had excellent experience. Booking second time and asking for the same or similar room, I have been given a room facing one of the most noisy streets in Sarajevo - Kosevo Str. and first floor, the street front is glass with poor quality. Consider you sleep on the street. The room is also much smaller for the same price. At the reception I could not get an answer, why my request was completely ignored.

This hotel is a great location, right next to the Old town in Sarajevo - you can visit all the main sites in 10 minutes walking. Room was pleasant but the temperature inside was very warm (heating stuck on). Breakfast spread is large but the food quality isn’t great. Would stay again but don’t expect to be wowed by this hotel.

The waiter at the Hotel Steakhouse ignored us for 15 mins, the restaurant wasn't at all busy but he spent his time talking to a friend sat drinking a beer. When we asked him to take our order he waved us off and continued to ignore us. We decided to eat somewhere else and left but not before asking to speak to a manager at the reception desk to be told he wasn't available for us. We won't be using the hotel again.
