Probably best known for its eponymous beer, Sapporo—the capital of Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island—has maintained the youthful and open atmosphere of the 1972 Olympic Winter Games, drawing international visitors for its annual Snow Festival and its world-famous ramen. Those seeking out the full diversity of Japanese cuisine will want to visit: a city with a ramen-inspired theme park is one that embraces and pampers foodies.

Great nice smile(ナイススマイル) were given from hotel crews and felt so welcome. Thank you for your hospitality. Nice room, great view. I like your coffee in the room. Shampoo and conditioner smell so lovely. My most favorite was French toast with coconuts sauce! That was awesome! I would definitely come back and introduce to other friends in and outside of Hokkaido or Japan! Thank you!

This is a hotel recommended by a relative. Very new and modern hotel. My favourite part of the hotel is that they have a coin laundry. We got the Japanese Style Family Room. It was big for Japanese standard. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom and toilet are separated. Love the toiletries. Breakfast was okay, adequate but not the best we have had in our 1 week trip in Hokkaido. The downside of this hotel was the location. We had to walk very far to Odori Park and Susukino where most of the attractions are.

This is a lovely Japanese style hotel only about five minutes or so walk from the main JR Sapporo railway station. The hotel is clean and the breakfasts were good, it also has separate male and female onsen/baths, which is a great way to relax. Very nice hotel to stay at if you are planning to visit Sapporo in the future, and I would certainly recommend it.

The biggest, funniest and nicest local hostel in Hokkaido.
Room temperature was ok, but it could get pretty cold anywhere else. Except lounge on 10th floor, very nice. Breakfast is served on 3rd and so in that time you can you use the 10th floor, but there is no toaster, only a microwave. They could empty the trash more often and maybe put a small trashcan in the showerrooms. Only one elevator and stairs can only be used from 3rd floor down. Good location, especially for the snow&ice festivals. But also close to public transportation, convenience store. Friendly staff. Nice lounges. Beds pretty comfortable. Good size locker for valuables. Check in and out process quick and easy. English speaking staff and map/brochures available.

Opening in January 2018! Close to the heart of the city, Susukino. A perfect base for sight-seeing, the hotel is close to the heart of the city, Susukino and Odori Park. It also serves as a convenient base for trips to other regions in Hokkaido. From New Chitose Airport, 37 min on JR rapid train to Sapporo Station, where transfer to the subway to Susukino Station. Then, approx. 4 min on foot
We enjoyed staying for 6 nights in this hotel. It is near the subway entrance, near the airport limousine bus stop, near shopping places and restaurants. The staff can speak English. Check-in time is at 3pm. The hotel has an onsen. Best hotel FOR TOURISTS.

Choose Hotel Gracery Sapporo to make your stay in Sapporo the most pleasant experience it can be. Hotel Gracery Sapporo is connected to Sapporo Station by the underground station shopping plaza. All guest rooms have an elegant interior and modern facilities, including an excellent security system. A luxurious semi-double bed is prepared for the standard single room. We also have a floor exclusively for female guests.
Location is great! You can get to this hotel all underground. Land in New Chitose Airport, take a train to Sapporo Station and go straight into the hotel. Sapporo station has all the food and shopping you need. Service is excellent! Big smiles, very prompt, checking-in luggage, all perfect! Room was hot and they brought a fan to the room within minutes. Hotel is older. Booked a standard twin (~$60/night). The hotel looked very modern from the outside so I booked it thinking it was remodeled. The rooms are older and the internet (even when it wasn't packed) was slow. I got an unstable 20mbps connection. Used my pocket wifi instead. Air Conditioning was shut off for some reason. It was hot inside the room. You can't open the window so, we felt trapped. They gave us a fan to use which worked, but dried us up. No views. We booked a twin size room but there was no view. It's overall not a bad hotel. It was quiet, workers were efficient, and the location was great. We got a twin size for the space, but it still felt small and stuffy from the lack of AC. I would try elsewhere next time.
