Reviewed By KiwikleinThe room was spacious but in another building than reception . Struggled with bags on my own down poorly maintained walkway. Kitchenette had no supplies( soap, dish towels etc). Shower head leaked soaking the rest of the bathroom. Breakfast was terrible with no hot food at all and no one who could make and/ or bring a coffee. Saving grace were the reception staff who were helpful, kind, and tolerated my rather poor Spanish! I would not stay here again

Excellent hotel in Santa Fe
Reviewed By lpattersI usually avoid hotels with "boutique" in the name as they are often overpriced, but this one was very good value in a lovely old converted house (only 10 rooms). We stayed in #4 for 5 nights, which was a good size and quiet. Staff was very helpful. Good location to walk to some places, lots of restaurants close by, or get a taxi to old town and centro.

Reviewed By João Frederico MGood hotels are pretty similar in comfort, in infrastructure, in technical help. But what makes staying at one place instead of another worthwhile on a working trip? In my opinion, the staff. This hotel has an exemplary group: always ready to help (and I needed it!), to guide us (we were three from other countries), to guess what we really needed), to go out of the way to smooth corners. This happened to me at this hotel and I am really grateful for the way I was treated. People make a difference and, in this case, made staying at the Riogrande hotel owrthwhile.

Rundown hotel, avoid it if possible
Reviewed By Ricardo MIt isn't a 3-star hotel, as promoted in some websites. 1 star, if any. Zero maintenance, broken furniture, not properly cleaned (the shower ceiling and curtain had fungus). Good parts: the breakfast is similar to other Argentine hotels, the staff is attentive, and it has a couple of covered parking spaces (but just a few!). It's half block away of the bus station (very convenient location for local travelers), but its a very bad half-block (that means: ugly stores, prostitutes, and hobos)!

Beautiful View but Some problems
Reviewed By Pfitzgerald1946We stayed three nights while attending a conference. The views of Santa Fe and the surrounding are stunning especially from our eleventh floor. Unfortunately, the elevators were very slow and for one afternoon non-functional. The beds were not comfortable and the internet was very inconsistent. Breakfast was irritating because the coffee, hot water and hot milk never seemed to be more than warm. Breakfast choices were the worst of any of our hotels during our three week stay in Argentina. On the other hand, staff was very helpful and the lunch and dinners we ate there were good. The area around this hotel offer great outdoor exercise. Hotel guests are able to use the very large nearby swim center. Walking paths offer a chance to explore and learn about the flora and fauna in the area. And just a ten minute walk from the hotel is a swimming beach on the river complete with lifeguards.
