Reviewed By 68lisettemFor a mid budget hotel in a great location, this hotel is the standard 3 star expectations. You can't come here expecting Cabo or Cancun level 5 star resort. The positives: decent price ($100 a night), ocean front property, free parking, restaurant on site with good food, decent room, good customer service, 20 minutes from Rosarito downtown, 10 minutes from Puerto Nueveo and 45 minutes from Valle, convenient store next door, brewery and taco shop next door, good pool, cheap drinks, and secure. The rooms are big and decent - from the bed, to sheets to bathroom it is all basic. The negatives: cheap towels, needed to ask for new sheets due to stain, my friends TV did not work. For the price, location and basic amenities- I would recommend and return. It can get loud a night but I didn't mind.

Reviewed By Deborah GSpending two months at this beautiful resort that is ocean front was so awesome. We had two bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, a dining room and family room. We were ocean front with nothing but a gorgeous beach and huge pier and the Pacific Ocean always in our view. It was also so inexpensive, not only at the Rosarito Beach Hotel, but at restaurants and groceries all in walking distance from the hotel. My husband and I are both golfers and there were two fabulous, inexpensive courses less than 30 minutes from the hotel. It was the best long term vacation ever. Viva Rosarito!

Reviewed By Kaa AFernando and Gerardo made our stay absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond each time we needed assistance or had a request. We were extremely impressed with the attention to detail and service. The breakfast buffet was great as well.

City Express Rosarito is located in the newest area of the vibrant city in the state of Baja California. The Reforma neighborhood, in the north side of Rosarito, is surrounded by sites that could be of interest to both the business and pleasure travelers. Baja California Center, the main convention center in town, is only five minutes away through the Tijuana-Ensenada scenic highway. Same distance but in the other direction is Eduardo Crosthwhite Industrial Park, which gathers the factories of the region. Through the scenic highway you can get very quickly to El Coronel Hill, a natural attraction only 12 miles from downtown Rosarito. If you prefer the beach, City Express Rosarito is less than a mile away from the coast. Also, the hotel is right beside Pabellón Rosarito, the largest mall in the city.

Reviewed By Don CRosarito is a really fun city to visit. So easy to get there. It’s only 25 min pasted TJ. The accommodations at the Rosarito Inn were great! We stayed at one of the 2 bedroom condos overlooking the beach. They’re very clean, comfy beds, spacious, kitchens are large. We’ll definitely stay again. The ladies in reservations and reception are wonderful! Manuela helped us get exactly what we wanted. Great service!

The rooms are clean and spacious . The room is outdated honestly curtains and carpet need to go. They should definitely invest in new bed linings. However for the price it was clean just a lil old but grounds are well kept and staff and area is great ?. Will be a returning customer

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Very bad customer service, at the moment of arrival the employees didn't want to grant us access because they didn't have our reservation in their sheets and instead of calling front desk to ask they just said no, we called front desk and hour before our checking to make sure everything was fine and they said yes our reservation was still there, but when we arrived the employees didn't want use the radio to call front desk to verify. We called front desk more than 5 times and didn't pick up the phone, after more than 5 minutes of trying to call front desk and insisting the employee to just use the radio he finally did and front desk confirmed our reservation to him. But the horrible service doesn't end there, we went to eat at their restaurant and the waiters were horrible, after ten minutes waiting for the waiter to bring us the menu or the QR code we nicely asked if if we can get the menu and the waiter responded out loud to us "well they can leave if they don't like it" We only asked for the menu why would you say something like that. The rooms are very bad the walls are so thin you can hear the upstairs room every time they moved in their bed and when they walked it sounded really loud. At the moment of check out the receptionist was not at all friendly or polite. This hotel needs to work massively on their customer service.

Humble, clean and friendly
Reviewed By urbanlibertineStayed here recently visiting Rosarito, one night. This hotel’s value is dependent on its price point; I paid $50 and was satisfied, but wouldn’t pay much more happily. Rooms are small and somewhat public, amenities minimal (please consider getting luggage racks for the rooms, they cost very little and create much more space). But the place is clean, efficiently run, no issues during my stay. It is loud in the morning, as noted below, but feel free to ignore previous warnings regarding the safety of the area and unsavory people and activities. I saw neither, mostly families and others on holiday, and felt the area was very safe. 10 min ride to downtown Rosarito, a cab will try to overcharge you coming back at night so best to use Uber if available. Also an easy 35-40 minute walk down the main road to same. Bodega next door has sundries and cold beer and water. Recommended if your expectations are fair.

Hotel Corona Plaza is conveniently located in Downtown Rosarito Beach where all the entertainment, dining, nightclubs, and water sports are only minutes away. The wide sandy beach is steps from the front door and all rooms have an ocean view. This hotel is a great place to hold parties, weddings, and many different type of events.
This hotel is a terrible place to stay in. The pictures are not an accurate depiction of what this hotel is really like!
Reviewed By mvenega2000The entire hotel does not have a running AC or heat unit! We asked for fans and they could not even provide that. The rooms are dirty and infested with roaches. We complained to the front desk and were given a different room that was even worse. The restroom by the outside pool had smeared feces on it and was never cleaned! The parking is horrible in that hotel and if you complain the staff starts acting rude! I will never stay in that hotel in my life!
