Traces of Preston’s industrial past can be seen in its historic Docklands district and steam train railways, while the city center mixes the old and new, with glass-fronted shopping malls flanked by elegant Georgian townhouses.

Ream Hills Holiday Park, winners of the Lancashire Tourism Award for Holiday Villages in both 2018 and 2019, is a new caravan and lodges park that opened in Spring 2015. Luxury lodges with hot tubs are situated overlooking Ream Hills Lake and available for bookings Fri - Mon, Mon - Fri and full weeks from Friday to Friday. Onsite we also have a touring field with hard standing pitches and grass for awnings all with electric hook up points for caravans and motor homes
My family have been coming here for many years, we have spent thousands of pounds here with Ream Hill and always loved the place. However after our last visit in January we wont be coming back again, we were accused of causing damage to one of the lodges, it was the work surface by the oven which obviously had some wear and tear but luckily for us we took pictures of all the faults/damages on our arrival, although we have never done this before we had read several reviews about people being charged for things that they had denied doing so when we saw the damages we just took plenty of pictures, also one of the group had stayed in the exact same lodge in August last year and had a video of the damage still on his phone,so just be careful and take plenty of pictures on your arrival of anything that is damaged. Other than that we have loved this place. Such a shame that things seem to have changed an awful lot.

As the name suggests, Premier Inn Hotel Preston Central is right at the heart of things. We're the ideal base for trips to attractions across Lancashire and to the Lake District. There are plenty of cutting-edge business venues within easy reach too. Make a great day of it seeing a matinee show at the Guild Hall in Preston, or enjoy the nearby nightlife. With Blackpool illuminations just a short journey away, not to mention the enchanting manor house Hoghton Tower, there's plenty to keep you busy. At the end of a great day out, come back to a tasty meal and a lovely comfy bed.
Stayed for a one night stopover while returning to Midlands from Scotland. The hotel seemed very quiet with few people staying and consequently there seemed to be very few staff. This resulted in us having to wait to check in, wait to be seated for breakfast etc. This was not a major problem and the staff were all very friendly. As we have come to expect from Premier Inns the room was clean and very comfortable, however I noted the decoration in our bathroom was starting to look a little tired. We had booked a Meal Deal and both dinner in the restaurant and breakfast were very good.

Doorbell is the link to hotel staff who if not in attendance are not far away. Venice themed room adequate size but no room for chairs or much space at end of bed. No breakfast but kitchen area with crockery, cutlery and milk provided. Comfy bed and pillows, quiet. Parking is limited to 3 spaces, luckily we were able to park. If not £10 some distance away or park on yellow line 6pm-8am and then pay £1.40 for meter parking in square. 8 electric car chargers in square. Good central location close to shops, Ashton Park and restaurants.

Excellent place to stay the night. Clean, comfortable and quiet. An evening meal and breakfast deal was available which was very useful. The staff were friendly and very helpful especially when it came to explaining the easiest way to get back on the M6 to go North.

The hotel has a zero wow factor and we were disappointed, expecting an up to date four star hotel with the Marriott branding. Our room was dull and the lack of a walk in shower was surprising. All the staff were cheerful and helpful and Chris on reception was outstanding. He offered us a room change and could not have been more helpful.

We just had dinner here with friends on Saturday night, it’s recently had a make over, so thought we’d try it again, and all we can say is the food was absolutely delicious!! Well done chef…Starters were all great, then we shared a seafood paella and the men shared the tomahawk steak, and it was all fantastic!! A huge shout out to the Spanish waitress who served us too, she was so friendly and attentive, in fact all the staff were brilliant!! They had local singer in Paul Dobie who was brilliant entertainment while dining. We love the renovations they’ve done, it looks brilliant! We will definitely be returning very soon!!

Initially booked through Booking.Com. Got a phone call informing me that as I was a single traveller I could cancel and they would rebook me a cheaper single room. 48 hours before arriving I called them to confirm only to be told they had cancelled my booking as they were overbooked!! No help rebooking somewhere else. Ended up paying last minute rates for a reputable hotel further away. Awful behaviour.
