Lovely quiet cottage perched near a working lighthouse 15 mins drive from Portland . We stayed in the Caretakers cottage which is a little more modest than the others I think but still nicely renovated . However there is no fireplaces or a bath , which didn’t bother us at all . The cottage was absolutely clean , well appointed and comfortable with great beds and lots of towels . Every amenity is here including a laundry and dishwasher- not that we needed it as we ate in town . The walks from here are just wonderful and there are many other nature walks around the area too. I would just have 2 tiny suggestions -1. Lots of bacon was left in the fridge for our breakfast but we are vegetarian so that’s a bit wasteful ( maybe ask people ?) and 2. Please clean the window sills . When you open the windows there are loads of dead flies and dirt there which blow in . Other than that .. all great !

We've decided now that it is so much better value to book on site cabins rather than motels if possible and we were so completely delighted with this place . Firstly it is located in a fantastic spot ,central to everything , across the road from the IGA supermarket . The hosts are so friendly and helpful . The cabin was nothing short of brilliant , it was a good size , with 2 bedrooms , one being the main with a queen bed , the other being a bedroom with a single and bunks . Nice bathroom with fantastic water pressure and instant hot water , really well equipped kitchen , had everything we needed . comfortable couch and great TV and then enough space for a dining table with 4 chairs . We didn't feel cramped at all . the bed was so comfortable and the location was peaceful with trees just near us complete with a koala. The price was great value at $130 per night . I would definitely stay here again . The holiday village is a mixture of on site cabins, powered sites for vans , it has a playground for kids as well as a camp kitchen and amenities block. Wi-fi is included and it was amazing , so often wi fi is rubbish in hotels but this place was fantastic . We stayed here 2 nights but could have happily stayed here longer .

Everything in this place was clean. Microwave, bathroom, cutlery, beddings and you name it. Pleasant surprise! Dettol wiped surfaces down and the wipes were still white. :P Great location, just on the quiet side of town yet close to everything, petrol station, KFC, beach etc ... Really impressed and happy we stayed here! Definitely recommended if the motel keeps up with the amazing work!

Wow, we loved it, great room we stayed in 1 which was the one bedroom apartment and it was just great. Fantastic views, everything we needed. The only thing I would say and its not a problem for everyone but the shower is in the spa for this room, apart from that I could not fault it. The hosts Bernie and Carol were so nice and made the stay even more special. Did I mention the views. Great TV's and excellent wifi reception. I would, we would highly recommend Seascape and we will always remember sitting on the balcony deck watching the ocean.

The location is second to none. I walked in (wearing a mask), and stood at the counter for at least 3 minutes whilst the staff members were a meter away chatting. Feeling invisible, I spoke up and said “Is someone able to take my order please? The penny dropped and we were shown to our seats. My wife ordered the cauliflower soul and I the battered fish. We waited longer than normal, although the view made up for the lull. We received our lunch ant to our dismay the soup was tasteless and the fish VERY overcooked and dry. Such a disappointment. I gave 2 out of 5, as the salad was fresh and tasty… Will not venture in there again.

Blue room is clean and provides amazing view to the pier. Lots of characters in this historic hotel and easy to park. No elevator so unfortunately it is not accessible. Spa filter and hair dryer in the room are not functioning well, also you can hear the shower running from adjacent room in the morning but that did not take away the joy of staying because you do expect a little hiccups in an older building. Lovely& attentive people running the hotel made up for everything.

Manager provided misinformation and was rude. Breakfast poor, room old, Not maintained, dIrty, a group of dog boxes with old tins for ashtrays at each front door, room stunk of smoke . Disgusting, we refused to stay after seeing the room. Has to be The worst motel in Portland. They had the gawl to request a credit card to cover the mini bar, there was only 2 $3.50 bottles of water in the fridge

Clean & tidy room, mattress was so comfortable. Shower was so good. Kitchen area for making your own breakfast. Not far from the main streets. Pom was so easy to deal with. This was our second time and we will definitely return.
