This hotel was clean and the staff eager to welcome and help out any way they could. It has a free breakfast. The breakfast was ok, not great. But I came to sleep after a wedding. I recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Orchid Suites for a long weekend family reunion. We had family come in from all over the country and everyone felt well taken care of and enjoyed their rooms. They have some interesting room configurations that suited us very well. My family used a two queen semi private room. That is a room with the bathroom separating the two beds, semi private because there is still an open hallway. It worked great to put the kids on one bed and the parents on the other with reasonable privacy.

The hotel was easy to find, I actually went to it by mistake. After trying to figure out what I did wrong, (went to the wrong hotel) Lucy at the front desk was so nice, we decided to take the time to cancel the other reservation and check-in. The hotel crew was all nice and friendly to us and to each other. The hotel was very well priced, clean, Lucy at the frontdesk reminded us it was free parking, free wifi, free breakfast.... The rooms were easy to find, large, clean, had a coffee machine and fridge, wifi easy to sign on, the TV was easy to use, the room warmed up quickly. I just had to send a pizza to the front desk for all their help. We put this hotel on our favorite list. Happy holidays!!

The check-in was easy. The room was immaculately clean. The TV has a large number of channels and there were a lot of choices for in-room coffee. The fitness center was immaculate and as good as one can expect at a hotel. The breakfast was really good. When I arrived, late at night, the security guard was attentive which is important to me. (Most security guards at other places seem to be paying attention to their phones and little else.) There was a filtered water filling station in the hall, which means I was able to drink lots of good water without creating plastic waste from my bottles. The breakfast also featured re-usable silverware, etc. which is also important to me. The front desk staff was really helpful despite training other staff. I hope this property continues to invest in its people and will add more staff as the number of guests climbs. The front desk received several calls while I was trying to get some service. They will definitely need more people when the hotel is fuller. A couple of things that would make this place even better: 1) Make it easier to find the fitness center. 2) Have alternatives to dairy milk at breakfast. I lot of us use like plant milk in our coffee and on our cereal. 3) Alert me to the bottle-filling fountain in the hall. Even though it's near the fitness center, I wasn't aware of it until I was done exercising and had already consumed some bottled water. I would have also used that water for making coffee in my room.

I'm an IHG Spire member and we typically choose Holiday Inns. This hotel had some good features, including family suites with bunk beds, which were perfect for my family. However... we are in the midst of a covid surge right now and there was some group (maybe a church? unsure) renting a meeting room. None of them were masked, and they weren't just staying in the meeting room. They were in the lobby and unmasked as well. Given a huge covid surge and that state law just changed to require everyone masking indoors again, I didn't think it was cool for them to allow this. Half the staff at the hotel weren't masked either. There little convenience store area wasn't well stocked. Had only coke, no other sodas. The doors on the outside of the building don't open with your key card. We tried multiple side doors with all of our keys. They just don't work. So we had to walk through the front lobby, past the unmasked staff and/or other guests, every time. Irritating.
