Baldininkas – is a villa on the shore of the Curonian Lagoon in Pervalka, in a small and quiet town of Neringa. There are 30 one or two room apartments equipped with showers, toilets, mini kitchens, TVs. By selecting an apartment with a balcony or a terrace, you will enjoy your evenings looking at the Curonian Lagoon or by cooking a dinner in the rest zone with outdoor furniture and grill. While you will be resting, your children will be playing in the villa’s yard on the green grass. Those who love bathing, we offer to rent a bathhouse. Active leisure lovers may rent bikes and four-wheelers. By passing the cycle paths winding through the Neringa’s pine forests which smell of thyme, you will reach the sea, Nida, Juodkrantė, Smiltynė or the amazing Dead Dunes which are nearby Pervalka.
Before we got there, we had a big expectation of this villa according to the note that it has on booking. And the price we payed (108 euros per night) deserves a good prestation taken Lithuania life level. We imagined romantic place with sea view, clean room with good taste decoration since it's a 'villa'! But we arrived and it was a big disappointment. Even the moment that I write this comments after our whole trip in baltic countries. Firstly of all, not mention 'villa' which we associate with things luxury. Here, the basic thing of hygiene is not guaranted. Smashed dead mosquitoes were everywhere, on the wall, curtains, table. The spider nets were on all the corners. We reserved a big room of 6 persons for 2 of us, which the main bedroom is on the mezzanine just under the roof. We were so afraid that the spiders would go to our bed or mouths that we finished by sleeping on the sofa on the living room. Secondly, black mouldy are found in the showers. Not just a little bit but several big block ones! They should be there since a while!! The last and most disgusting is each time you open a tap a strong sewers smell came out. I took my shower in face of all this black mouldy with this strong disgusting smell and I nearly vomited up. We brushed our tooth using our mineral bottle water. I can't say I went though lots of hotels or airbnb. But this is the most disgusting one! If the hygiene can not be guaranteed, nothing else can make it up! We putted so much expectation on this 'villa' of curonian split with the price that we payed, we felt so disappointed and disgusted that we hardly sleep. Don't fall in the same situation as us. Don't let this hotel ruins your good mood of vacation. Avoid this hotel if you have others choice!!!! Among 11 hotels that we stayed in Baltic countries,we got less expensive as 42 euros per night which is much more cleaner than this one, we got also Radisson blue that we pay for 125 which provide a much more service that this. This owner doesn't deserve the money earn dishonestly!!!!!

We visited for lunch on a day of touring the Curonian Spit. Most in our party were vegetarian which made it a bit of a challenge. We ended up settling on the lovely cold Lithuanian borscht with warm potatoes. As a vegetarian entree the serving could be a bit more generous with more potatoes. We also tried an omelette with the ham left out which was good but nothing to write home about. We also tried the Lithuanian root beer kvass made from d bread. This is a superior product to its American cousin with much less sugar, greater complexity and a lovely bite of bitterness. It was delicious with the common beer snack of fried bread with cheese. Prices were moderate, service was good and we were sitting by the lagoon. It was a good lunch.
