Liars and bad service
Reviewed By Tausif Hi went to this hotel and had very bad service with my room not being tidyed and mess left everywher. Also was charged twice. They said to me next time you come we will make up for it. Now i wanted to come and they offered me like 40 or 50quid off the price given. I have pictures of how my room was left. They are liars and do not stick to their promise. Will never stay again

Reviewed By DanthetraveldudeNot too bad though. Ofcourse, as it was my first time in Paris, I was not aware of the locations. My main purpose of the visit was to visit Eiffel Tower and Disneyland. Both were very far away from the hotel. I booked this hotel at the last moment. But I have stayed in the far better hotels accross Europe for the same price. May be paris is expensive. There is a metro station that you can reach in 12-14 minutes. There is also a train station on 6 minutes walking distance. There is a bus stop very near to the hotel that we used for the night bus travel. We prefer halal food, there is halal restaurant on a walking distance from the hotel. The rooms were not so great but not too bad either. I stayed for 4 nights but wouldnt recommend anyone to stay that long here. 1 or 2 nights are enough. The service lady used to knock the door every day at 10am despite the do not disturb paper on the room handle outside. The staff at the reception was welcoming. The first room that I got was absolutely messy. After complaining at the reception, we were given another room which was okay. The Air conditioner was not working in the room. Since the weather was pleasant, I did not complain.

Bad lighting in the room and bathrooms, air conditioning not working, walls and floor quite worn out, room a bit dirty, daily cleaning didn't make the bed. Not at all impressive. The only advantage is that the Église Pantin metro station is literally outside the hotel door.

Reviewed By billporVery convenient for the metro with obliging staff.Room clean and comfortable. I travelled with teenage children and despite the reputation of the northern line this area of Paris does not feel threatening.No WI fi however.

Reviewed By Road60730085760Great location for metro. Rooms small but adequate for my needs as didn’t go to Paris to sit in room. Cleaned every day. Staff helpful and pleasant. Loved the shower. Carpets could probably do with being renewed. Overall a pleasant stay and would probably go back

Reviewed By SmithHannah77Tired, dated and depressing place. Definitely not a hotel, but that was not informed on the booking site -found that out after returning home. In case you stay here (which can’t be recommended) make sure to bring ear plugs in case you want to get any sleep. Location ok(ish), but the area is very dirty and unpleasant. In case you wanna avoid walking to closest metro station Hoche, just take the tram (stop is just around the corner) to Porte de Pantin and continue from there with metro.

Reviewed By Lou07700Ça dépanne , malgré des difficultés pour trouver , il serait judicieux de mettre une pancarte sur ce grand portail noir pour signaler aux clients que c’est ici, car quand on arrive on s’attend à cela . Appartement en rez de chaussée très mal insonorisé surtout à 7h30 quand passent dans la rue tous les collégiens du collège voisin ... La chambre avec un faible éclairage au plafond , une petite table avec une lampe de chevet n’aurait Pas été de refus . Frigo minuscule heureusement que je ne voyageais pas en famille . Odeurs très fortes de canalisations dans la salle de bain. Parures de lit IKEA qui commencent à défraîchir, coussins qui ont fait leur temps , matelas trop mince .. Bref assez déçue surtout pour avoir payé 76€, même pas de tv .. c’est dommage .. Sinon personnel de ménage présent à mon arrivée très aimable , jolie deco atypique , proche commerces , mais quartier mal fréquenté .

Reviewed By talkkidsThe management keeps a very clean room with nice amenities and several extras. Due to medical issues, we were in the flat more than we had anticipated and it was a nice place to be able to stretch out, eat and feel safe and with air conditioning. It is a 5 minute walk from the Metro, but well worth the walk. Definitely worth the money!! However, be prepared to wake up with the sun - it is very bright!

Reviewed By welshgirlmichelle198Myself and my partner have just come back from Paris (which is truly Amazing). We booked to go and see George Ezra at the Zenith stadium, so decided to stay within walking distance of the stadium. Also very close to Hoche metro, which takes you into the centre of Paris in about 40 mins. Canal Suites is very run down .... It needs an update desperately. Our room was spacious and had the added extra of a fridge, microwave etc ( which was a nice little touch), but as for the room itself, it smelled stale, eventhough the rooms are non smoking, someone had definitely been smoking in there previously. The carpets are very dirty, as you can see in 1 of my photos. The bed was a lovely size and pretty comfy, but very shabby. We found someone's sock under the bed, so the room had not been cleaned properly! If your missing a sock ... It's probably still under the bed in room 125!! I personally wouldn't stay at this particular hotel again, unless it has been newly redecorated from top to bottom. Very basic and very disappointed with the price we paid.

Reviewed By paulcheewehWhen i searched for hotels with its own kitchen, this hotel appeared as the cheapest. since i prefer to cook my own meal, this one is a good catch i suppose. booking is non-refundable upon confirmation but im glad they didnt charge my credit card until my actual checkin. since i arrived early at 9am, they kept my bag while i went out and came back for 2pm checkin time. the location of this hotel is few steps from eglise de pantin Metro station which is very accessible to city center of Paris and easy connection to CDG airport via gare du nord. reception staff is helpful but they are not open all day. They provided access card and code to the main entrance incase you need it for late night or early morning. Many grocery shops and restaurants nearby and bake shops for fresh bread. Room is kinda old, no AC but they provided me with electric fan. bed is comfy. there is full kitchen which i used in cooking with free dishwashing items, but there was no exhaust fan so i had to open the window. room is big with good wifi. I dont mind staying here again.
