Reviewed By helma1970Every month I stay in Clarion for 5 nights. Good kitchen, nice and kind staff is for me the reason to come again and again. With the vouchers everyday it is attractive to have dinner in the hotel, which is excellent. See you next month

Fantastic Spa Hotel in Every Way
Reviewed By cvinerWe stayed for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything about the hote is fantastic - especially the customer service. Every member of staff made us feel welcome and cared for. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is chilled. The spa is beautiful and extremely relaxing. The views from our very quiet, corner room (524) were beautiful. The food and cocktails and service for both dinner and breakfast were excellent and the massage therapist was superb. A really excellent hotel and a huge thank you to every member of staff who contributes to the running of the place.

Reviewed By Marty2travelI'm not sure I had to rate this hotel with an average of a very good. The hotel potentially has an exclusive appearance and the rooms also radiate this. But the public areas are very dark and cheap. Parking is possible behind the hotel and along the public road in front of the hotel. The beds were comfy and breakfast complete. When checking out, the bill turned out to be incorrect, the reception has neatly resolved this.

Reviewed By eremma268570Cheap and chabby hotel. Floor «squize» sound when you walk, Ok breakfast. No towels in room. Desperate need of renovation. Looks like it have since the 90s. Staff need to learn to smile more. But if you dont care about these things, you will find a cheap sleepingplace.

Reviewed By Terhi CWe, two adults and two youngsters, stayed in this hotel for three nights, room 201. The hotel room was large enough for four persons, although youngsters had to share a folded sofa bed. There was enough space in the toilet/bathroom and the shower functioned well. The view was to a street below, and people were sometimes smoking there but they moved when we asked them to. There was no air conditioning and the room got too hot during the night. Luckily it was possible to open the window, but this mostly did not cool the room enough. We had asked for a good cleaning under beds, as some of us have dust allergy, but we found cleaning to be lacking in this respect during the entire stay although we asked for them to redo it. We found the breakfast to be excellent. There were some different local varieties on offer for each day and personnel really clearly made a large effort in making an interesting and quality menu for every morning. The receptionists were very polite and helpful. The location was nice for exploring places outside Östersund. We mostly ate at the centre of Östersund, which is about a half an hour walk. However, there is also a local pizzeria close by with a good menu. As the hotel was not in the center, we found the hotel area peaceful in the evening, which was nice. There were always enough parking spaces. If ever back at Östersund, we could consider this hotel again.

Super good location on a quiet side street just a few hundred meters from the pedestrian shopping streets and main square. Plenty of parking spots. Staff is amazing! Helpful and talkative, don't hesitate to ask questions about restaurants, good activities for children or anything else you might need help with and they will try their best to help! Nice and clean rooms with comfy beds, decent lobby bar and bikes you can borrow free of charge. This is by no means a luxury hotel but you feel like a VIP nonetheless and for a fraction of the cost. Thanks Patrik, Maria and Fia for a wonderful stay! Well be back for sure!

But the rooms are a bit dark and depressing and if you get a room with convertible sofa (one bed and a sofa that converts to a double bed) the comfort is not ideal

Leopold Boutique Hotel - det lilla mysiga hotellet mitt i centrala Östersund. Vi erbjuder 7 rum, samtliga med egen wc/dusch. Fastigheten som vi huserar i är från 1914 och det har alltid funnits kommersiellt boende här. Vi försöker återskapa den gamla stilen och inreder med tidsenliga möbler från sekelskiftet.
Charmigt hotell mitt i stan.
Reviewed By CissiWGod frukost med hembakat bröd. De nya sängarna är mycket sköna. Charmiga men något enkla rum. Fina sällskapsrum med antika möbler. Trevlig personal som gör vistelsen personlig. Saknade dock hårblås och förstoringsspegel för makeup, vilket borde vara lätt att fixa. Läget är mycket bra.

Nice and functional, affordable accommodation in the heart of Östersund
Reviewed By DavvebieggaStayed in this hostel 3 times already, twice in the dorm, once in a single room. Rooms are functional and not very big. Shared showers and toilets are clean, kitchen offers enough space and each room has a box in the kitchen for storing food. Big and cozy common area including eating and living room. Very friendly and inviting interior altogether. Balcony. Appealing decoration in the corridors. Friendly staff. Reception is open only until 8 p.m., but you can get a code for late check-in. Hostel is within walking distance from the bus station and the train stations (Västra train station is closer than the main station).
