Reviewed By rcejnarvery good location when you want to ski in Madonna, Tonale, Penu/Temu or Pejo. We enjoyed nice vacation with kids with very good cuisine even though covid measures were in place. We will definitely retunr back, hope there will be more snow

subpar, but ok if you need a place to crash - liked the staff

The place is in dire need of an upgrade - our door would not latch (you could just push it open) and there were a number of other things that were so, so. Tiny windows and generally not appealing. But, we slept which was our main goal. We liked the staff - it's run by a friendly family and they were friendly and genuine. They also have a donkey in the yard which we thought was fun. But, would not stay there again.

Perfect place
Reviewed By CaustonatorThis place is a family run hotel and it is perfectly situated between Passo Tonale and Madonna Di Campiglio for skiing with free ski buses to both places. The rooms are cosy and basically equipped. There is a ski store and garage below the hotel. The breakfast was good basic continental with home made jams made by the owner. Boiled or poached eggs would be a good idea to add to the breakfast menu. The cakes and croissants were lovely. The staff and family were so friendly and helpful, even if their English was a little basic. The food in the connected restaurant below the hotel was stunning. We had the New Year’s Eve dinner which was brilliant albeit we ran out of space for the sheer amount of delicacies on offer. The town itself is attractive with a beautiful castle and I would have liked more time to explore!

Reviewed By hungourmettravellerNice, cozy place to stay, it takes 10 mins to reach the parking lot of the Daolasa cable car. Unfortunately there is no possibility to have dinner in the hotel, but there are many great pizzerias and trattorias nearby. For me, the breakfast is everything I can imagine, but for example my father missed the fried egg. Rooms are ok, bathrooms too. Wifi in a specific place. Visited in 2016, went back in '17, looking forward for '18.

Very calm place
Reviewed By Eyal HWe went the in the off season and we had the place to ourselves. The toilet facilities are really good and the river is just a great thing to hear when you wake up in the morning. The owners are really nice couple and the village is a great place to have a walk.

Amazing find
Reviewed By lamusiI am a bit reluctant to write review of Locanda dei Gentili since I'm afraid it will become too popular and difficult to book in the future... one of the the most welcoming place I've ever seen. Starting from the patron Mariano and his warm, friendly attitude: nothing is impossible for him if he can help his guests and make them feel at home. The attention to the details in the rooms is at the highest level, with wooden and iron decorations, nice atmosphere and bathroom with one of the most amazing showers I've ever seen. For breakfast you can taste the eggs from Mariano's hens and freshly baked bread and cakes. The view on the San Michele castle is a bonus. Just one small suggestion for further improvement: try to better separate the rooms from the restaurant. Highly recommended.

A pesca in val di sole
Reviewed By darione72Ottimo b&b. La proprietaria é gentilissima ed attenta a tutte le richieste particolari. Interssantissima anche la colazione con dolce e salto. La location é stata scelta per pescare nella val di sole e il b&b é collocato in posizione strategica per raggiungere in breve tempo tutti gli spot di pesca della valle.
