This beautiful and calm environment, away from the busy city life, is what your soul needs. Indulge in the stillness of nature, observe animals at a natural water hole, relax in the pool and feel the Namibian sun on your skin.
We camped there for 3 nights just to get away from the city for a break. Normally we head either North or West of Windhoek, but we are now hooked on going East! A 90 minute drive is all it takes, and everything you want from a camp site is right there. A large campsite with shade trees, our own bathroom, electricity, kitchen sink, fireplace with grid, and a light for the evenings. Ina and her team go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, and nothing is too much trouble. For those that like a few home comforts, the restaurant and bar are 200 m away, where the beers are ice cold and the food is fantastic. Big screen TV for sport lovers, swimming pool and lots of wild life. Our only complaint was being woken up on our last morning by noisy cattle right outside our tent. Will definitely being going back there!!!!

Nestled in the beautiful Omaheke region of Namibia, this Namibia self-catering establishment offers the ideal stop-over for Trans Kalahari Highway-travellers on their way from Botswana and South Africa to Namibia or vise versa.
We stayed overnight en route back to South Africa. Although rather small the chalet is good quality and well maintained. Good value for the overnight stay. The facility has a small restaurant which serves excellent food. It was really tasty with friendly service. The venue is close to local community and as we stayed over on a Saturday night the music was a a concern. Originally it was very loud but was luckily toned down from 20:00 onwards.

We booked 2 rooms via the website, but unfortunately did not realize it would be too small for our family. When we arrived at the lodge and asked for an upgrade to a family room, this was immediately attended to. We had a very lovely dinner at the restaurant. When we informed them that we would be leaving the next morning before breakfast was being served, they arranged 4 breakfast packs for us and delivered it to our rooms later that evening. Super fantastic and friendly service! Will definitely recommend this to all my family and friends!! Hope to visit again soon!

Africa Awaits Lodge offers tranquil accommodation surrounded by nature and wildlife, while still being 8 minutes drive from town. Experience best of both worlds: relaxed evenings and free wifi with African game drinking a stone throw from the camp fire, while still being on the Trans Kalahari Road only 15km from Gobabis and perfectly on route to the next destination. Free Parking, Dinner and Break
The lodge and our room were very well designed and maintained with a view of a waterhole. We experienced an extraordinary service after calling them with a flat tire on the tar road. They came immediately after a phone call to help and rejected payment!

This is my favourite guest house I have stayed at in Namibia! The rooms are simple but they come with aircon and great wifi! The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is always superb and we very much enjoyed swimming in the pool. We will be back again!

Just 10km from Gobabis Co ING from windhoek side. Lots of campsites to choose from with your own private ablution which gets cleaned every day by the lovely Veronica. The owners Danie and Kathy are very friendly and accommodate where they can. Besides the camping stops there are many rooms to choose from. There is a lovely pool to cool down in, a self service honesty bar. They serve a awesome breakfast every morning. Every morning we got coffee served to us at our campsite on the house. The peacocks, chickens, goats, sheep and let's not forget Zulla and Bulla the camp dogs all roam around free, so do pack extra bread in cause the chickens and tarentale will definitely cone ask for a feed. We stopped for 2 nights and ended staying 4 nights. Gobabis has a lovely spar where you can stock up on all your needs. I highly recommend this place. Their tariffs are very reasonable aswell

So my friend and I Decided to go for a drink and have pizza and ended up Die Dam. I went to stand somewhere just to connect my phone to the wifi when the so called supervisor approached me telling me to stop taking pictures when I was not taking pictures..his attitude is unbearable.. It was only my friend and I, no other visitors.. He treated us so badly..the place is not good either.. There are scattered chairs around the tree. But the service is so ugly.. I have no idea if it is because we are black or what... Instead of being of concerned on how to treat customers, he was so loud about ownership of the property, how he maintains it, how it belongs to him, bra,bra,bra.. etc,, which was not necessary.. He even went to the waiter who was preparing our food to have us pay when our food have not even come yet. When the pizza came, It was the worst pizza I ever had in my life...but the waiter had a good attitude and she was so sorry for what happened to us.. She apologized to us on behalf ofthe supervisor who know nothing about customer service.

This nice, small and friendly backpackers is located in Nossobville and easy to find. It is neither crowded nor noisy and has rooms from dorm up to single rooms with your own bathroom. The manager is very friendly and helpful and lives just next door. She is especially caretaking with women and she chooses her guests personally. If you are a single traveller she is checking on your and making sure you are safe. Her enormous inside knowledge of the location is always a good resource for guests. Due to the fact that the backpackers is not in the main town you enjoy more of the non-tourist live in Nossobville. There is a small shop around the corner, a gym next door and a walk to the city is only 10-15min. The special shape of the house makes it cool in the Namibian summer. A great place to stay when it's up to 40 degrees outside. The backpacker is not fancy, but basic, clean and has fair prices. I stayed here regularly for the last five years and I enjoy that there are few guests, a big kitchen and good care. The revenues go directly into a child-care-project located in Epako. So this is another reason why this accommodation is a good choice.
