If you are looking for an active place to stay with world-class attractions, Ohio’s major cities can satisfy any vacation desire. Each offers its own distinct flavor of fun, from professional sports – Bengals (Cincinnati), Cavaliers (Cleveland) and Indians (Cleveland again) – to museums, outdoor activities and more. One of the most famous is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. If football is your thing, don’t miss the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. For the science-minded, visit the meat eaters at the Carnivore Conservation Center in the Wilds near Cambridge, dedicated to the breeding and scientific study of endangered mid-sized carnivores. Kids will also love Planet Snoopy in Sandusky or the Columbus Zoo’s Zoombezi Bay Waterpark and Jack’s Landing rides.

A Ohio comfort food supper is served I think every night, and breakfast was totally satisfactory. Rooms are very comfortable; I love the way Drury often remodels older buildings (even though I think the Drury logo sign looks like a spendthrift design and doesn't match the rather majestic look of the hotel itself). The crowd is casual.

I have never been in a hotel so dirty, with so bad maintenance, and with such a bad staff. I´m writing my review while me and my family still guest of this creepy hotel. The room is dirty, dusty, the carpets have never being washed, not even vacuumed. The Hilton promise is a lie in this case, no one of the staff do nothing for the guest, there is no cleaning persons, we have to wait more than half an hour for the check inn, the a/c is noisy and bad, everything wrong! They couldnt even bring me towels, the coffee maker didnt work, I reported it ant again, they do nothing. I have not use the facilities, but I can suppose that this story will repeat Dont come to this hotel never in your life, There are many better options in the area. Alberto Romo

This hotel will truly fascinate any history buff, or those like me who look for an escape from "home" in their getaways. The decoration and atmosphere of this hotel provide a one-of-a-kind, unique experience. The staff were also very sociable and considerate. The location of the hotel is pristine, with it's front entrance right on the main street in the center of the artisan neighborhood of Columbus, with shops, bars, and restaurants galore. I certainly recommend! Just make sure you put your "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door before bed so housekeeping will not knock on your door super early. Learned that one the hard way.

Located in the heart of Amish Country, the Berlin Grande Hotel is a recently renovated 122 guest room property with modern decor and down home service. Featuring large spacious rooms, an indoor heated saltwater pool, expanded meeting space, a business center, 24-hr fitness room, free WIFI and long distance for our guests, a friendly supportive staff, and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
Location was perfect Staff friendly and attentive Hotel well maintained on outside and common areas. Room was outdated and needed upgrades. Tv too small, chair uncomfortable and worn, toilet seat worn and painted over (needs replaced), shower re-caulked but different colors….mostly little things, but a little TLC makes difference from a 5.0 rating to a 4.0 rating in a compatible market area!

Everyone is super nice and helpful. Restaurant and bar are was wonderful (Shout-out to April for the tasty cocktails). Overall the staff made our stay a positive experience. That being said, it's easy to realize the place is short staffed (especially in room cleaning/servicing/maintenance side of things), I'm sure it's just the post pandemic rust that many independent businesses are struggling with now and I'm hoping they can overcome. I'd say that's the only thing that's keeping me from giving them an 'excellent' rating.

Staff was attentive and accommodating, rooms were neat and clean, the fitness room was more than adequate, and the free breakfast had decent choices. Housekeeping was not an option during COVID (which I appreciated), but clean towels were always offered. The beds were comfortable and round were aesthetically designed. A small convenience store and 24-hr free coffee was always available. The valet retrieved/parked vehicles at any hour needed.

I would absoultely stay here again. The staff were customer service orientated. However front desk did not seem familiar with surrounding area eateries & attractions. Also asked for room with view & it turned out to be of the back of the building. Needed maintenance due to clogged toilet & they were very prompt in addressing issue. Made appt. For facial service which was highly enjoyable. Recommend you make it in advance as a lot of clients are "regulars". Great art and fantastic adjoining restaurant Metrople(make reservations) Skip high priced valet and park at garage at 600 vine (beneath prime steakhouse) less than block away.
