The city was named after fearless fur-trader and adventurer, Peter Skene Ogden, who explored the untamed area in the 1820s. Since then, Ogden has seen poverty and prosperity, conflict and celebration. Today, although a more subdued and modern place, the city is still big on action and adventure the whole family can enjoy. Take the kids to ogle the more than 100 life-size replicas of pre-historic creatures at the Ogden Dinosaur Park and Museum. Or head to the Tree House Museum, one of the best of its kind in the U.S. Adults will find plenty to enjoy on local golf courses or hiking trails in the summer, and everyone will love the local winter ski resorts. A grand old depot, Union Station is a must see for history buffs and anyone interested in trains and railroads. Be sure to stroll along 25th Street downtown. This historic block was the center of activity in the early 20th-century and is home to many restored buildings from the railroad era. The street also boasts an eclectic mix of restaurants, one-of-a kind shops, antique stores and art galleries.

The room is very nice. The Hotel is very nice . The parking is terrible. You are downtown Ogden.. unloading your luggage has to be done in front of the hotel. Then you drove around the block & find the parking garage… then you walk back to the hotel… The receptionist at the front desk was pleasant and very helpful.

My wife and I needed a place to stay off the highway, found the BW High Country Inn by chance. The hotel was nice but the pond and garden were an unexpected treat! The grounds are lovely and provide a quiet respite from the noisy highway. You cannot see or hear it’s, instead are treated to a beautiful view of the Wasatch front.

Stayed here several times. Friendly staff and a good motel. Had an evening meal in the restaurant inside. Excellent burger with a lot of fries. It also came with artesian bread with an incredible selection of gourmet dipping choices. Excellent meal, couldn’t even finish as the portion was very generous.

The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The rooms were okay, clean and comfortable. But the weird thing that seems to be a trend is that there were absolutely no towel racks in the bathroom! Just cubby-holes under the sink. The light next to Dad's bed was out, and when maintenance came to replace the bulb, the whole thing shorted out, which isn't good. The only wall switch was by the door, everything else was lamps that had to be turned on and off individually. Breakfast was free with a ticket in the restaurant next door, but when we got there, there was no one to take our ticket, not an attendant in sight. Anyone could have walked in off the street and had a free breakfast. It was the usual hot breakfast of bacon and eggs, and was good enough. I had no luggage rack in my room, and when I went to the front desk to ask for one, I had to wait for housekeeping to bring it to me, instead of them bringing it up to my room. I realize these are all "first world problems", I'm just letting you know what our stay was like.

A few steps from Historic 25th Street eateries and attractions, our hotel is situated in downtown Ogden near Union Station and Lindquist Field. The airport and Weber State University are less than five miles away. Hit the trails with your choice of plenty of trail heads within 10 minutes or drive up Mt. Ogden for skiing and more.
Great location in Ogden, near dining and things to do. The lobby has a nice gathering area, and a table with a jigsaw puzzle on it. Our room on the 2nd floor was small, simple, and perfect for an overnight stay. Our room faced 24th Street. In the evening it didn't seem noisy with street sound, but by 5am we heard the traffic which woke us up. My recommendation is to get a room facing the parking lot instead of 24th Street. The free breakfast has the usual selections, and adequate sitting area.

Noisy This hotel sits next to the highway. We asked for a room on the opposite side of the highway and it was still noisy. The room was large with 2. Beds but no where to set things. Fold up luggage rack,, a small round table with 2 straight back chairs. Space on the table was taken up with a Keurig coffee maker, an ice chest and tray. The night stand between the beds was a good size. We didn’t find the beds to be comfortable but they didn’t sag either. The head boards and chair backs are badly worn and should be replaced. The room is not conducive for business people who have to use their laptops and need a desk for writing. The lighting was on the dim side. Bathroom was a good size.

Motel 6 Ogden Riverdale UT is located 0.9 miles from Hill Air force Base. Enjoy our modern rooms. Amenities include micro-fridge units in select rooms, a conference room, and free Wi-Fi available in all rooms.
The hotel looked nice at the front office. We went into the room and it smelled like urine. Their standard room reminded me of hotels back in the days when there were not microwaves or refrigerators. Room was good sized but sparsely furniture. Went back to the front office to get a different room which was just as bad as the first one. Neither toilet flushed very well. Asked for a refund and at first said couldn't get just because we walked into the room eventually got the refund then left and stayed at a different hotel for close to the same price but included coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator.
