Reviewed By Passport802168Stayed 9 nights in Haubers Landhaus. I loved the breakfast especially in-house brand muesli, fresh squeezed juices, fresh cut fruits and breads. I can't resist the salad buffer serve during dinner as the veggies are so fresh and delicious. The service staffs are excellent including front desk, housekeeping and restaurant. I enjoyed the weekly program -yoga, singing bowl meditation, qi gong, nordic walk, guided hike and forest workout. I like the indoor swimming and saunas when return from my hiking. Surrounding is a nice place to walk around; air path, swallow's nest, short hike trails. Area I hope can be improved is the wifi connection. Nevertheless, Haubers is a very nice place for relaxation and a place that I would like to come again!

Good hotel for relaxing in beautiful mountain area
Reviewed By tucanoThe location of the hotel on a hill is wonderful. on the opposite side of the valley is the mountain Hochgrat, nearly 1.900 meters. Everything was beautifully covered with snow and was shining. All Staff is very helpful and customer-oriented, most of them work here since long time. Check-In was smooth, we were given room 611, on top of the building. They brought our car to the hotels garage. Everything in the building is well maintained. Especially beautiful is the main dining hall, decent lighting, very clean, pleasant ambience. Same is true with regard to the Panorama Bar. The room was of medium size and has a balcony with 2 chairs. The bathroom and the sink are really tiny. Everything is working. Internet, TV. Some features are not practical: just behind the entrance door there is a wall panel. When you hang there cloth, it is next to impossible to open/slide the door. The handle for regulating heat is placed in a way that it is next to impossible not to hit your head. Bed is ok. Breakfast includes a really vast offer, very good, on demand they prepare egg dishes. If you book half pension, there are several menu options. Many activities are being offered. There is an indoor pool of 12 m. The village is located 15 minutes downhill and it is nice.

Reviewed By 18Kat78We stayed at Lindner for 3 nights in march 22. We really enjoyed this hotel. They were greeted friendly and checked in quickly. The food at the hotel restaurant is pricey but it was delicious. We really enjoyed the hotel bar, it is very comfortable to sit there and the cocktails and drinks are really yummy. We can also recommend the spa area. Amazing saunas! I really liked the interior of the hotel. It's also just a short walk into town. Great location. Buffet breakfast was good, there's something for everyone I reckon. One thing I didn't like was the stuffy air in our room. We left the window open at night so we have fresh air but it was still stuffy and too warm for my liking. All in all I can recommend staying here for short weekend getaway ?

Reviewed By Stijn CWe check-in at the hotel and the receptionist hands us the keys to our room. No one to bring us there, already hinting that the room will have little to be proud of. Upon arriving in our room, we find a bottle of water with a price attached to it: 3.70 instead of 4.20! What a gift. The mood has been set. Everything in this hotel feels as if it only does the necessary to be called a 4-star hotel, and being able to charge high prices, but with no ambition to do it right and with passion. The diner was mediocre, breakfast ok yet limited in variation. The welness wasn't very clean and felt cheap, as well as the rest of the facilities that felt as if they've been long overdue and ready for replacement. I would not recommend it to anyone to stay there for a week. It's on the edge of being a tourist trap.

Reviewed By Clarissa3737The location of the hotel is very beautiful, with an excellent and perfect view, one seeks tranquility and silence. However the bathroom and the balcony would need to be renovated. The spa exists, but it is not working unless requested in advance. The restaurant has magnificent windows that need to be cleaned more often and carefully. The last time available for dinner is 19. Dinner is not exciting and the dishes are too seasoned. Breakfast is good and satisfying even if served from 8am and some foods (such as scrambled eggs) were served at 8.15. Even knowing that we would be leaving in the morning, we had to wait 10 minutes before someone arrived to check out at 8.40am. Furthermore, it is not acceptable that a 3-star hotel in Germany does not have a website in English and no other language than German has spoken. Finally, all considered the above for a night in half board and 3 beers we paid € 215, I would say excessive.

In the warm season the ideal Golf and Wellness Hotel with its own tennis court. In Winter situated directly on the cross-country skiing track and for alpine skiers the first lift is just opposite. Lots of hotels advertise Golf but here you find a "real" founder golf hotel with less than a par 5 to the first tee-off. The Spa and Wellness oasis in Toskana style is completely new and lavishly planned. To radiate tradition and be modernly spoilt: welcome to the first hotel here.

Reviewed By chrisbB1735DQSpend 3 days at the Hotel Ludwig Royal in Oberstaufen with our family of 6. Overall, we were quite happy with our stay. Highlights were definitely the wellness and pool area, which made for relaxing afternoons and early evenings! The rooms were functional and cozy, with a set aside bed they easily accommodate 3 persons. The food was ok - some dishes (the Schnitzel / Schweine Steak) were really good. Some dishes did not quite keep what they promised (e.g. the Kaiserschmarren was a cake / vanilla ice morphed into mango ice) but overall good quality. A bit of a downside was the construction going on in the hotel - with the fitness club being refurbished. Once that is finished it will add to the offer of the hotel. Overall - very good stay. We would come again.

Nice place - restaurant staff in need of training
Reviewed By the7th1We enjoyed a couple of days here with family. Overall a good experience. However, the restaurant cannot handle lobby/terrace/restaurant table change. We watched a Euro2020 match in the lobby lounge. Then we got hungry and wanted to order food. Not possible. Then we arranged to eat during the break, on the restaurant terrace, The match started again and we then wanted to go back and watch more soccer in the lounge. Then they were somewhat upset that we apparently had two bills open - one in the lounge, one on the restaurant terrace… What do I care?! I wanted flexibility and finesse. I did not ever try to avoid the bill. It turned out ok, but they were WAY too rigid, and the final round of drinks was never ordered because we just went to our room instead! A totally cool experience was somewhat dulled by not so cool policies that did not make any sense to a guest!
