Absolutely charming
Reviewed By Henk DArrived from Switzerland after a LONG trip by car, and found this beautiful hotel, nice garden, quiet room, excellent kitchen and very friendly owners. Strongly recommended! Don't forget to caress the (very lazy) white cat, and to visit the old town just 5 mins away.

Reviewed By Peter LA small family hotel (about 10 rooms) run by husband and wife. We were returning from holiday in the south of France and this was an ideal stopover, with the secure car-park. Our room was on the second floor at the rear of the building. There was no lift or air-conditioning (but it is only €70 a night). The room was simple, but a reasonable size, clean and recently decorated, as was the en-suite bathroom. We found it comfortable and had a good nights sleep Owners were very friendly and welcoming, speaking good english. The dinner menu is not extensive but offered a good range of meat, poultry and fish. The quality of the food and presentation were very good. The one pot awarded by Logis under-states the position and it was certainly the equal of two pot hotels. A reasonable choice of wine that was keenly priced. Would stay here again if in the area

Reviewed By NikiMilThe host cancelled our reservation one day before our trip. It was a Wonderbox and hence we had not paid but we had rented a car for these dates and it was quite difficult to find another accommodation on that short notice.

Ideally situated in the heart of the Loire Valley Castle region and only 4 miles from the famous Beauval Zoo, come fall in love with this charming 19th-century farmhouse. 2 large rooms (1-4 people) with bath/wc + available twin en-suite. Max capacity 8 people. Possible to rent entire floor for groups of 3-8. Baby bed/high-chair/bath seat, table tennis, large enclosed garden, nice breakfast indoors or in garden. Hot drinks, tourist info, books & games. Babies sleeping in a folding cot may stay free of charge and we can provide the cot, a high chair and a baby bath.

Charming Bed & Breakfast in the Loire Valley on the river Cher
Reviewed By KarenFromLA1We stayed most recently in June 2017, but every time we've stayed at this lovely Chambre d'Hotes (what the French call a Bed & Breakfast), we've been very pleased. The home sits in a beautiful garden opposite a canal of the Cher river, and is very charming, furnished with antiques, and very pretty. The rooms all have bathrooms and are quite comfortable (with AC too.) The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast, with fresh baked breads and home-made jams/confitures, is delicious. Very affordable and well worth staying. It's very central to many, many chateaux, the Zoo de Beauval, and French Country living. English is spoken as well.

Reviewed By FellowTraveler605310Tout a été pensé pour que les visiteurs passent le sejour le plus agréable possible. Eric et Emilie sont très sympathiques et serviables. Le studio est bien agencé, propre, et tres bien équipé, a l'instar de la propriété toute entière. C'est vraiment adapté pour les familles, avec beaucoup d'activités pour les enfants. Des commerces a proximité. Excellent rapport qualité prix !
