We had a great stay at ruver view lodge! The owners and staff are fantastic and really do their best making you feel welcome (eg arranging our pcr tests, changing money for us, giving advice, etc). The premisis is clean; the rooms are nice and big. Food is good. The river cruise is a must! We would stay here again next time when we are near Kasane

Cresta Mowana Safari Resort & Spa situated on the banks of the mighty Chobe River in Botswana is one of southern Africa's sustainable tourism destinations where luxury exists in harmony with nature, providing a unique location from which to explore the magical wonders of untamed Africa. Game, including herds of elephant, antelope, giraffe, zebras, lions, leopard and many more, roam freely in the nearby Chobe Game Park. Sunrises and sunsets in this part of the world, with the Chobe River and Namibian flood plains as a backdrop are the substance of dreams. Birdlife is in abundance. Bird species unique to this part of southern Africa can be seen on the property as well as on the banks of the Mighty Chobe River. In 2018, the Resort will undergo refurbishment which will be done in phases to avoid inconveniencing guests. The Resort will be open throughout.
I liked your food and the stay was fantastic. The location is good. The hotel delivered experiences that hopefully exceed expectations. Fundamentally, it was providing a safe, secure, clean, updated and comfortable accommodation.

Muchenje Campsite & Cottages provides self-catering accommodation and camping. It is set in the Chobe Enclave, 7.2 km from the Chobe National Park Ngoma gate (60 km from Kasane, Botswana via tarred road and 80 km from Katima Mulilo Namibia). A peaceful, secure and beautifully treed property with water and a small shop for ice, meat and fresh vegetables.
Muchenje Campsite proved the perfect base for our stay in Chobe. Haydn and his Team's attention to detail from the chipped pathways to the swept camp sites, the little essentials shop plus all the infrastructure services of power & water really ticks all the boxes. On top of this is the lawned area around the pool plus the viewing deck when one just wants to chill. Then of course you have a magnificent view over the Chobe Floodplains and your are less than 10 kms into Chobe GR proper.

We spent two night in the chine safari lodge - safari room, river view . The view is beautiful and there are improvements ongoing on the bulging infrastructure , that is good. Anyway, me an my girlfriend were unlucky . The first night we did not sleep due to wired rumore on the countertop (a potential lock animals, could happens). Indeed, rooms are not clean as they should be, see pictures below at the entrance . Not suggested; not needed to pay this lodge prices. For the same standard and quality you can definitely choose places with lower prices.

Perched high on the eastern side of the Ghoha Hills, this hilltop retreat boasts unparalleled 180 degree views across the savannah and the natural waterhole which attracts wildlife year round. To the south east of the lodge, the Savuti Marsh beckons with its unique game viewing opportunities. The Marsh is a relic of an inland lake which is fed by the Savuti channel. Covered by extensive savannah and rolling grasslands, the wildlife is dynamic year round. The dry and wet seasons change the scenery and offer sightings of the annual migrations of zebras and predators. Elegance abounds in the eleven well-appointed canvas suites, which have been elevated on wooden decks, ensuring spectacular sunrise views. An exclusive and intimate ambience permeate this understated luxury lodge affording even the most discerning of travellers to Botswana a truly unique safari experience. Ghoha Hills is an eco lodge, using solar power for minimum impact to the environment. The lodge blends into the natural environment whilst maintaining the integrity of the pristine natural bush.
Such an amazing place to experience Botswana! We loved the beautiful rooms with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. The staff was exceptional, especially our guide, Allen. Our game drives were spectacular, lots of animals and birds. I would highly recommend this lovely lodge.

Spent three nights at Kadizora Camp in May 2022. It was fantastic. We enjoyed daily drives, boat rides, a hot air balloon ride and the camp. We saw so many animals, thanks to OC, our awesome guide. In addition to being a great guy, he amazed us with his tracking skills and took great care of us with snacks, beverages, and warm ponchos while out in the grasslands. The camp was so comfortable. The rooms are nice, the food was very good, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They were so accommodating and really have thought of everything , like the hot water bottles in our beds. Brought back wonderful memories, unbelievable photos, and the sundown tradition!

Small, Owner run property situated on the western edge of the Chobe National Park. Our remote location means our game drives do not reach the masses that inhibit other Chobe Lodges. Also enjoy boat trips on the Chobe and walks within the Chobe Forest Reserve. Muchenje offers Rustic luxury accommodation with outstanding views across the flood plains and into the Caprivi Strip.
Our mother daughter safari adventure began at Muchenje and throughout our time in Africa, we kept remembering this place and the people who call it home. From our first warm welcome to sharing hugs before leaving, our two night initiation into safari travel was perfect. Kiddy and Tuff are capable and helpful managers, but really, you felt like friends just enjoying their company in their home. Our safari guide, Ali, shared an encyclopedia of knowledge, stories, and his family and professional life with us as we explored the Chobe area during a morning and afternoon open air land rover ride, one night ride, and a long and leisurely afternoon boat ride on the Chobe River. This is not to be missed as the perspective of the land from the water is both beautiful and relaxing. The common lounge areas of the lodge were cozy, well-styled, and open air and family style dining was friendly and engaging. Each evening, one of the chefs introduced themselves and the meal to come…how charming! The food was delicious, filling, and always included a local flavor or ingredient and the conversations with other guests and staff made the experience even more rewarding. Afterward, the evening fire looked so inviting but the early mornings and lingering travel lag had us in our comfortable thatched roof cottage right after dinner where we slept peacefully despite the nearby elephants! Although we never lingered on our private deck to take advantage of the gorgeous view, we thoroughly enjoyed the cottage interior with every amenity…from a large rainfall shower to the soft linens on the bed. It was an unexpected pleasure to have quality perfumed soaps and hair products, a blow dryer, in room coffee/tea service, screened windows, bed netting and insect spray, a safe, and complete quiet and privacy. And, did I mention that in our short time we saw giraffe, elephant, zebra, impala, scrub hare, lion, hippo, crocodile, impala, kudu, sable antelope, cape buffalo, baboon, and birds everywhere? We will return someday and we recommend this Muchenje experience to all. (Traveled May 2022)
