I have now stayed here 3 times and have brought my 2 pets twice. I have a very large dog and a very small one. There is a dog here and they all get on so well together. Penguin House is small, quiet and very comfortable. The staff are super attentive and the food is really good. Nothing is a problem at Penguin House. It is a Joy.

Comfort Garden is your next destination if you're seeking for a place that provides both comfort and serenity. From lovely rooms to delectable cuisine, a swimming pool, and, most importantly, a children's play area. It's worth mentioning the team's friendliness. Special thanks to Nungari at the front desk, Chef Samuel, Charity, the housekeeper who looked after me and my sick baby, and Elizabeth. When the kids get a little older, I'll surely come around. You did an excellent job!

Ngomongo Cottage is a tastefully appointed 3 bedroom cottage, tucked away in Nanyuki, a cosmopolitan town on the equator. The cottage has 2 ensuite bedrooms as well as one with a twin bed configuration and shared bathroom. The living area is well furnished with flat screen TV, comfortable sofas, including a sofa bed. The kitchen has an oven, fridge and microwave. One can enjoy a continental or English breakfast. The cottage is on the southwestern foot of the majestic awe-inspiring Mount Kenya and is surrounded by unspoilt range-land forest, a few minutes away from the edge of protected mountain forest. Ngomongo Cottage offers a large garden and a terrace which provide a great and different setting for parties or outdoor relaxation. Ngomongo sits on the riverfront, catching the river high where the water is crystal clear. You can spot trout and swim in it. The Cottage has crisp fresh air to rejuvenate your body. It is a reward for venturing away from polluted environments of cities.
The scenic drive leading to Ngomongo built up our anticipation of reaching to the destination. Roads with myriad twists and turns around fenced farmlands leading up to the property had everyone dubious at first about the authenticity and quality that we would expect. However, when we finally reached the place, we were mesmerised and our eyes were spell-bound! All our doubts were totally unfounded, as each member of our team gasped with awe. The architecture, design set-up,gazebo, gardens, staff - every aspect was impeccable. Cottage interior was tastefully furnished in wood with just the right touch of modern amenities. The hospitality we received from the ever-smiling staff was at par with bespoke hotels all over the world. The care & thoughtfulness of comfort for guests was evident from the shawls placed for everyone, the warm and fully-functional fireplace, hot-water bottles for those of our group who were feeling chilly from the cool mountainous air, right down to the fuzzy, warm house slippers! Our gastronomy instructions were followed to the letter by kitchen staff, and they also accommodated a last-minute request to serve us with hot roasted maize cobs. The beds were as soft as the clouds covering Mount Kenya, and we fell asleep immediately our heads hit the pillows. Bathrooms were spotlessly clean, and extremely well-maintained. Our praise for this piece of heaven-on-earth can go on and on and on, but I feel we should stop here to let you others experience it fir yourselves. In short - this is a home away from home. Thank you Ngomongo Cottage!

We had an awesome time at Mount Kenya Regency. It is right next to Ngare Ndare Forest. We could view the majestic Mt. Kenya and the forest from our bedroom balconies. The facilities were superb and staff was very friendly. The scenery is breathtaking and we get one with nature there. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting it again myself.

A home a way from home gateway, Surrounded by natural vegetation. Exceptional views of mount kenya. Storms resort is 16 km out of Nanyuki town (on the Nanyuki - Doldol road). Neighboring the Ol-pejeta conservancy, Lolldaiga Farm house and Mount Kenya. The main lodge is located on the banks of the Nanyuki river and hosts both indoor and outdoor restaurants and bars. We have plenty of activities such as mountain biking, hiking, bird watching etc.
Where do I even begin?! The rooms were filthy, there was no seating provision in the rooms, the water heaters wouldn't work, the chef decided to take leave and we couldn't get a decent bite to eat. We were served with a "meal" we did not order and that too was revolting (had to give it away to the guards without even having a taste) and to add a cherry to the cake, we were forced to have breakfast even when we clearly stated we needed to leave in a rush. Beware, the shining reviews on this place seen properly fabricated as the place is NOTHING like it is made out to be! Horrid... if I could give it negative stars, I totally would!

We loved the place. I went with my wife and 2 kids. Breathtaking views of Mt Kenya. Rooms were very nice. Food was amazing with lot of vegetarian options as well. The hosts Zahra & Bashir were very friendly and accomodating. The best part is the Ngare Ndare Forest Trust is 5 minutes away by car. The blue pools and the forest trails was mind blowing. Will definitely visit again.

106 luxury cottages with a heated swimming pool, spa and a lounge. Restaurants and a Barbecue. Prestige service. Located in the vicinity of Nanyuki Airstrip.
First time to stay here and we were in a group of 14. The receptionist was very organized and had our booking all ready. We were shown to our rooms, which were very far from the main building, this walk would not be pleasent in the rain. The rooms were great, they had everything from a tea/ coffee station to hair dryers and even a iron and ironing table. Everything in the room was perfect, beds were very comfy and shower was lovely and hot. The problem we had was finding our way back to the main building.... most of our group got lost, there are so many rooms and way to many footpaths going off everywhere, it was very confusing. The dining area was a big let down and does not match the quality of the rooms, it was as if we had walked into another cheaper hotel. The food was a big let down, just another boring run off the mill buffet. I would definitely stay there again, because of the rooms, but would drive to Nanyuki for my meals.
