A stylish and modern hotel, with a superb location overlooking the sea and a bay with a sandy beach. Rooms are strikingly furnished. Lifts are funicular style (not vertical), and initial impression is very dramatic. However, despite being a new hotel, we could hear noise in our room from the adjacent room, even when they were just talking. There was also an odd noise from the air-conditioning(? ), and the light switches were impossible for us (and our friends) to figure out. Biggest issue was in the restaurant. Signs to restaurant - level 2 - are actually to the breakfast room, while the evening meal is served in "the conference room" !!! We ordered a bottle of red wine, which came to the table pre-opened and with some of the wine already missing !!!!!

The best restaurant with woanderfull food. The staff is very friendly and do all for you and for your taste. The shrimps with the algae was the best food that I eat in my life… just wow. Also the fish and the desert is fantastic. The restaurant look cozy and woanderfull. If you are in Galicia is a must to eat to this restaurant but you need a reservation for be sure that you have a table.

We stayed at Casa Fontequeiroso while completing the Camino dos Faros. Our room was very comfortable with a balcony with lovely views. Carmen our host was most hospitable as she provided a delicious evening meal with wine for 35 euros for both of us. Her soon was very gracious by giving us a rendition on the Galician pipes. We also enjoyed a good breakfast before departing. – Thank you Carmen

We stayed a couple of nights as part of a group in this beautifully-restored farmhouse in the countryside near Cee and Corcubion whilst walking the Camino to Fisterra. Belen, who looked after us, was delightful. She was very welcoming, efficient and helpful. She produced the most amazing breakfasts, with a different hot dish each morning and also cooked for us in the evening, taking into account all our dietary requirements. The dinners were delicious and served beautifully, they were really good value. Drinks were not expensive either. The rooms were simple but comfortable, with well-designed en suite bathrooms. The sitting room was comfortable and Belen lit the wood burner for us each evening. There was also a beautiful, well-insulated conservatory with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. There is a beautiful pool but unfortunately we did not have the weather to use it. Good Wi-fi. The stay was very restful and peaceful. We all enjoyed it very much and would love to return.

Very easy to find off El Camino. Very clean. Each room is named after a person from Muxía. But mainly, it’s the staff that makes this a 5-star review. Both of the people we met (a man and a woman) were SO friendly and helpful. They were willing to do anything to make our stay great and anticipated our every need. This place would be great for a rest day on El Camino. NO complaints! Highly recommended!!!!!

Small family hotel in the heart of the Costa da Morte, situated at the foot of one of the most beautiful beaches of our coast, Playa de Lago, and in front of the estuary and Muxia Camarinas villas, ideal to visit the Costa da Morte, suitable for both beach and rural tourism, due to the proximity to the villages of Leis (Leis of Nemancos) with its beautiful Romanesque church, Sendon, Ozon and O, engaged in the exploitation livestock and agricultural. Next, Merexo landmark for its set of granaries and passage of pilgrims traveling the Camino de Santiago to Muxia. And San Martino also Romanesque church and one of the largest granaries Galicia.** Open from Easter to October **
This hotel and its wonderful location were an amazing find and the highlight of our trip to Galicia and Northern Portugal. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful with the massive beach and lagoon only a few metres away. We had spacious rooms on the top floor and it was lovely to fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves. Nice and plentiful breakfast. Having dinner in the hotel's restaurant was another treat (see separate review). Owners were nice and quiet but friendly. The nearby village of Muxia has a good atmosphere and nice places for a drink and snack. I wished we had stayed for more than two nights!

The Hostel was lovely, clean and very comfortable but the staff are the jewel of this place, Galician nature and hospitality at it's best. Nothing but friendliness, warmth and helpfullness, made it feel like coming home, which it kinda was as it's my mothers home town, where as a child I spent many summer's in la casa de mi Abuela. x
