Located in Marina da Gama, just north of Muizenberg where mountains, lake and sandy beaches come together.Admiralty B & B set in a leafy garden, overlooking the Zandvlei estuary is a gracious guest house with 7 individually styled and furnished rooms. Well stocked library, internet, swimming pool in sheltered courtyard, boats, paddle skis, fishing rods and bicycles free to guests. Centrally situated on the southern Cape peninsula, just 30 minutes from Central Cape Town, Cape Point and the Stellenbosch winelands. Just minutes from Muizenberg's glorious sandy beach and in close proximity to numerous world class golf courses. All rooms are en suite and are equipped with t.v. fridge, tea and coffee facilites and hair dryer. Pool/beach towels are provided. Rates include 'full English breakfast' and can be adjusted downwards for 'continental' breakfast or self catering.

Reviewed By bronh577I loved the decor at this guesthouse. Very welcoming and friendly staff. I enjoyed my breakfasts, Lisa cooked for us most mornings and was super friendly and helpful. The beach is really close just a couple blocks away and through the village with shops and galleries and restaurants, very quaint. Then there is the beachfront which seems to have been upgraded since our last visit. I loved all the live music. We found Jazz at The Commons and The Urban Cafe and Striped Horse was vibing most nights with some DJs and some live. It was great fun

Reviewed By genevieve_elizaMy partner and I had a lovely stay at The Muize. The host was friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. The facility including shared kitchen was well stocked. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perhaps my favourite part with easy access to Muizenberg beach and promenade - I went for a beautiful morning run along the shoreline followed by a day of swimming in the numerous tidal pools in the area. We will book again without a seconds thought if we need accommodation in Muizenberg! Thank you

Did not meet expectations
Reviewed By CharlotteeehowardMaryna and Mike were very welcoming when we first arrived, they were informative and gave good recommendations. Great for shorter stays and perfect location, with the beach right on the doorstep. However, later into our stay, the owner spoke to us about other guests in a negative manner, past and present, which made us feel slightly uncomfortable. We also felt it was too pricey for young backpackers as our deposit was not fully refunded. We had thought the kitchen usage was included in the price we had paid on arrival. We were also charged a “covid fee”, we felt this would have been better if included in the initial price and when booking we did not see this. There were also cockroaches in the kitchen and in our capsules.

Mrs. Sinclair is delightful and went out of her way to make my stay pleasant even facilitating my travel to Cape Point and to see the penguins with other guests. Breakfast is delicious. House is quirky and full of charm. Recommend staying here for a unique, unforgettable experience in Muisenberg.

Reviewed By Stace32HWe recently stayed at A Heavenly View while visiting Cape Town. We were pleasantly surprised by the owner Suzette who has put so much thought into making the accommodation as comfortable as possible for her guests. The setting is nice and quiet, with lovely mountain views and close to the beach. It is also surrounded by places with good food and drinks. Great location!! Highly recommend!!
