Well appointed cottage, with a priceless view and private. Warm croissants each morning delivered to the door was such a treat. The breakfast provisions were generous, and the pre-cut wood for the fire was excellent.

Right in the heart of Montville Village. Walk to galleries, shops, restaurants... Tudor style architecturally designed, the Montville Mountain Inn Resort is a 26 suite motel-resort featuring the Montville Cafe Bar & Grill right next door. Our private salt water swimming pool and full size wind protected tennis court all set amoungst our lush tropical gardens, which are surrounded by ageless rainforest.
Great service by Owner John both in the booking process and on arrival. Very conveniently located right in the Main Street amongst all the fabulous shops, restaurants etc. Room was extremely comfortable & very clean. Beds were amazingly comfortable both Queen & Single. Very quiet location. A bus load of people arrived & we did not hear a thing unless outside our room. Our first Montville stay & we will be back. We dined across the road at “The Edge” for very yummy lunch & breakfast & can recommend. Great vista views down to the Sunshine Coast. Loved it all!

We chose Spicers for our 10 Year Anniversary dinner and were totally impressed with the 5 course degustation menu which lived up to expectation, topped off with the delightful Brittany hostess who truly made our evening a special memory X

Fantastic greeting from Sarah. Thank you Sarah! This is our second stay at the Two Frogs cabin. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Sarah could not have been more helpful. Having said that, all the staff were very good, very helpful. The meals were superb both in the restaurant, and delivered to the room. We could not fault this if we tried. 10 out of 10, and hats off to all of the staff at Secrets, and to the chef. If you want something special, for a special occasion, this is the place to go. Location: tick. Service: tick.

Postitives- The apartments themselves are spacious, the views are spectacular, large balcony, central location, large bathrooms. Improvements- reception was confusing to locate, parking isn't secure so anyone can park there (there was often no underground so including it as a feature is a bit cheeky), no elevator, no wifi, no fan in room, bed was uncomfortable, jets weren't cleaned well in the spa bath. Also there was no room service for the weekend but nothing else offered in exchange i.e a small discount or a coffee voucher. Im sorry but when you charge this much you can't be just saying there's no room service. Safety issue - the tiles in the bathroom and the corridors are dangerously slippy and bath mats should be placed down as the shower water goes everywhere. I almost slipped at 35 weeks pregnant in the bathroom and could have fallen on the stairs also. Nice place to stay but definitely not worth $320 a night at all. Need some major upgrades and additional features, luxuries and attention to detail to be charging these rates.

My wife and I stayed at the Altitude Hotel at Montville on Saturday 21 May. The start of our stay we enjoyed a lovely lunch of tapas and cocktails. The lunch is highly recommended and we relished all of the five tapas options on the menu especially the oysters. The staff we met were very friendly and added to the dining experience. The hotel room was very spacious with all the modern amenities. There was a gas fireplace, a spa on the deck and the bed very comfortable. Our stay would have been great if it wasn’t for the returning wedding party at 10:00 pm. There is a wedding reception venue at the rear of the hotel and I believe the hotel is popular with people attending weddings there. After 10:00 pm the hotel resembled a frat house with drinking in the corridors, shouting, banging of doors. With no chance of getting to sleep we called hotel reception but with no staff on-site at night there was no answer. At 11:15 I called the after-hours number and spoke to Ryan and explained the situation. I received a text message back at 11:30 that someone would be out in 10 min. When someone did come out it did quieten down for half an hour but when they left the party started again. At 2:30 am we messaged Ryan from the hotel again but no response. At 3:00 am we had to shout at people to quieten down and move outside as the noise was extreme. With no on-site staff, guests can do what they want with no consideration to other guests. With no sleep until after 3:00 am we wouldn’t stay there again and would recommend asking if there is a large wedding party booked in to ensure you can get some sleep. We did get an apology from reception at checkout but with what we had to put up with it was all too late.

Sinclair Cottage is a faithfully restored text-book example 1920’s dairy farmer’s cottage, with 3-bedrooms, contemporary rural furnishings, fully equipped kitchen and dining room, and fireplace for those crisp mountain evenings. Symphony House is the newest period home in the Flame Hill cottage collection. Symphony is 3-bedroom self-contained house, with kitchen, fireplace and large verandah for entertaining.
Visited here after speaking with a couple who had lunch the day before and raved of the wine and steak. We had a wine tasting which was nice before sitting down for lunch. After seating us the waitress told us there is no Steak, no Fish and no Risotto. Thus leaving duck, salad and a burger left for lunch. This is a Tuesday not a Saturday afternoon or Sunday why would you not have probably 2 of you’re most popular main meals? Also when we rang to put our lunch back half an hour you probably should have mentioned you had bugger all food left? Shame because we had a beautiful view from our table and the place gets great reviews. Cheers.
