No elevator! No breakfast. Awful check in
Reviewed By Tourist317696There were no handicap rooms and I explained I had had knee replacement. The lady at the desk said no bottom floor rooms, no elevator , take the stairs. She could have cared less. Pool was only open 9am-10pm. No breakfast even though it was posted for hours. Sheets were minimally stained but at least there was a bedbug protector. Smelled like smoke in the hallways and room. Most Days Inns have really stepped up their game but not this one.

Reviewed By iServiceLLCMy company booked 10 rooms in Home Towne Studios Hotel for 6 weeks paying per week. When my workers arrived, the hotel was very dirty and trash was everywhere. We called the hotel and informed them our people were unhappy and we would be making other arraignments. My workers left after the 3rd night and the hotel said because they did not have 24 hours notice, they would be charging the 4th night. We agreed even though that was not the case, and our people moved to another hotel. However the hotel charged my credit card for 7 nights. They overcharged my account more than $2,000. When my logistics director called them , the regional manager Hector Quesada asked us to wait 48 hours and they would refund the money back to my card. After 48 hours and no refund , my logistics director called and inquired and again was asked to extend for another 48 hours. That phone call was on Thursday. On Wednesday of the following week the money still wasn't posted. So, I called him and introduced myself as the owner. I asked him why the money was still not refunded after giving them 48 hours twice, I told him I am going to dispute the charges with my credit card company. This man became so aggressive and started to yell at me, he kept asking who I was with very rude tone, he told me I need to apologies to him for threats that I am going to dispute these charges. He told me I needed to talk to my boss, even though obviously the logistics director works for me, I again explained that I was the owner. Obviously he didn't believe me. So he call my logistics department and asked them, who is that angry women. Ooops that women is the company owner. He stated that if we disputed the charge than he would do the same, even though we were only asking for what he stated he would do. After speaking with the logistics dept. he called back twice, hopefully to apologize since he found out I was actually the owner. This hotel and this manager are most unprofessional and rude people I have dealt with and I warn you so that you do not make the same mistake, just stay somewhere else and save yourself the aggravation.

Reviewed By oklachocIf you are in need of a room, be sure to keep looking if in Mesquite. I would not recommend staying at the LaQuinta at 118 US Highway 80. The only thing they did well was check you in and out quickly. We were glad for that as we were ready to leave as quickly as possible.

nice staff but overall crummy hotel

Cute but small complementary gift which included a tiny bag of Fritos, a Milano cookie, one Hershey’s kiss, and one bottle of water. Room overall: our upgraded room was number 313. This Fairfield is in desperate need of a complete remodel. Dirty carpet, stained sofa, rust mold in the tub, window that does not seal, overall crummy room. One lightbulb was burned out and needs to be replaced. Included a nice size mini refrigerator and a small microwave. Bed: decent pillows but worn and old king mattress. Bathroom: lighting was subpar, only received a conditioner no shampoo. Shower and tub area need to be revamped. Mold around the edges and rust on the fixtures. Sleep quality: horrible! With the window not sealing properly, road noise from Interstate 30 was constant. Woke up several times from very noisy vehicles on the highway. Staff: The staff was very friendly. Free breakfast: very good coffee! Assortment of goodies for breakfast including yogurt, bananas, oranges, muffins, granola, and more. Tip: the Mexican restaurant across the parking lot named Posado’s is great. Very short walk.

Reviewed By Frank GWe really enjoyed our stay. One thing I forgot mention. I understood I was not required to pay until checkout. My subjection is when there is a good price, go ahead and pay for it in advance, otherwise one can get stuck with a big safety pin. The value price was still good a even though it was not what I expected from the booking.com site.

If you like having to PAY EXTRA for motel basics such as shampoo and conditioner, if you like NOT being able to open the black out blinds and if you like the sounds of 16 wheelers whizzing by feet from your pillow (and hearing footsteps down the hall and above you) then this is the place for you! Bargain basement services should come with bargain basic prices. When I walked into the room the insides of the TV was dangling from it by wires, the toaster plug wouldn't fit the outlets and when I did find one that worked--the new toaster started smoking, and although there was a plug (and dangling wire) to raise the blackout blind, it did not work. Also the bed felt like a rollaway bed with uncomfortable springs poking through. This cavernous, dreary, no charm motel needs a lot of love. There was never anyone stationed at the front desk and main door into the hotel is locked from 10PM - 6AM for safety. This combo made me feel uneasy. Two stars because it was new and pretty clean. If it was cheaper, I would understand these shortcomings but you could get a lot more for your money elsewhere.

Motel 6 Mesquite TX - Rodeo-Convention is located off I-635 and Military Pkwy. AMC theater and Mesquite Rodeo and Convention Center is less than a mile away. Free Wi-Fi and micro-fridge in all rooms. Outdoor pool, and 1 acre for truck and bus parking.
A great place to Stay
Reviewed By Alberto RThis hotel is right off the I635 freeway and within walking distance of the Mesquite Arena. It’s a great place to stay on a budget. The staff does a wonderful job in keeping the property clean. There are many places to eat in the area plus a Walmart Market.
