We visited the region 5 years ago and stayed here and thought it was a fantastic large room and good restaurant. We were disappointed this stay. Smaller room. Very bad dirty bathroom. Husband went to get a massage but was told to go away because they don’t just do back and leg massage... some special hand signals were made to indicate it is special massage for the man... if u get my drift?!! I’m not sure why but it just wasn’t a good experience. Maybe I am getting fussy as I get older?! I won’t be going back!! (My husband might though?!!)

Reviewed By BBK_810 of us booked 5 rooms for 1 night at Howard Johnson Meizhou on 13th night and we are happy that we've chosen this hotel vs other recommendations that's closer to town centre. location : tho not in town centre this hotel faces a big open square with lots of restaurants and eateries, just next to and across the street. it's only a 10-15min drive to meizhouxi train station which is very convenient. rooms - room looks new and modern and is clean, comfortable with international TV channels. staff : that must be the best part of this hotel. we checked in with jadyn and grace and both were able to assist us with all our requests especially since we are a big group. next morning Grace was once again at the recept when we checked out, helping us and ensuring we get up our rental car and all is good. really appreciate this level of service from both of them and for this I will highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to meizhou

Excellent hotel by the river
Reviewed By IndraminI booked for 2 people prefering 2 bed room. I got a room with queen size bed. All the room (towerA) that have river view has only 1 bed, and all the 2 bed room face city view. I was a bit hesitate, but the view were amazing. We go with the queen size bed. Room was big. Light and switches everywhere. Large windows. Room temperature can be set to our preference. Bathroom was big, with good pressure showers. Wifi was fast, BUT you're in China, so you will have a hard time accessing western social media (FB, TW, Google etc) TV was huge, but almost all channels were in Chinese. A bit advice to the hotel : please carry more English channel. Guest will get 2 small complimentary bottled water. Others will be charged hefty, so please be ware to read the tag on the bottle before you open it. Download BAIDU MAP, to find the nearest convenience store. You can notice it from the icon if you can't read Chinese. 1 little hidden gem : you got a free laundry. 2 pieces per person. It was written in Chinese on the card beside the bed side table along with a fabric bag. Drop it in the morning (hang the tag on the door), and the laundry will be ready by the afternoon.

Nice local resort hotel part of the HakkaPark
Reviewed By emster2029Meizhou has certainly changed a lot since I visited a decade ago. This hotel is part of the Hakka Theme Park. The hotel itself is a well designed property with rooms and villas taking advantage of the topography of the area. Breakfast is typical of a Chinese 5 star hotel. Do not expect your omelette or Sunnyside up. Little or no English is spoken even though you see Western restaurants the come with wine collection. This hotel cater for local tourists. It is probably the best in town. I definitely recommend a night stay here if you plan to visit the park as you can avoid the crowd if you can leave early in the morning. The park is just next to it and admission to the park is part of the room charge.

Rooms here were big and clean, prices were reasonable, and the location is very close to all the essentials. If visiting meizhou again in the future, we would definitely consider staying at the tianyuan grand hotel again.

Reviewed By Sherpa797056這是遍佈全中國的快捷酒店集團在梅州的分店之一，位於城區主幹道彬芳大道旁。我的房間臨街但關上窗後並不吵鬧。這裡的特點是方便快捷，入住退房都很快，設施齊全沒有任何多餘的東西。房間、衛浴都很乾淨，但牆面略有污漬，也許該重新粉刷了。

Reviewed By hunteref到梅州出差，经常到联邦酒店住，这酒店在印象中至少开业十多年了，离梅江边很近，大约两百米，办事之余可以到那边去散散步，人不多，很清静。酒店的江对岸正对着大名鼎鼎的东山中学。近几年，酒店附近还开了客都汇，一家比较大型的购物商场，吃饭什么的都比较方便。酒店装修现在看来略显过时，但也算简洁卫生，老板据说是做家私出身，酒店床垫选得软硬适中，还比较舒适。房间大约两百左右一间，感觉性价比还比较高。
