Premier Inn Chatham/Gillingham Victory Pier is the perfect place to rest your head when you're visiting this part of Kent, or need a stopover on your way to Europe (we're only twenty minutes away from Ebbsfleet International). Check out the Royal Engineers Museum, do some water sports on the Medway or spend some time in Riverside Country Park. You'll love our on-site Thyme restaurant and our new generation bedrooms, each featuring an impressive 40" flat screen TV, bright, modern bathroom with a large shower head, and brand new, slumber-inducing, king-size Hypnos bed.
The family room I was given was not sufficient for a family of two plus a baby. The cot was unsafe with loose hangings and an insufficient mattress. There was no bath (though my sisters room had one) for the baby plus the room was significantly smaller than other rooms. There was what I can only assume to be a menstrual blood stain on the dressing table chair and the toilet was covered in urine. The corridors stunk of marijuana and the lifts smelt like cigarettes. I came to stay for a funeral and so didn’t want to waste my time asking for a change of rooms, if the trip wasn’t a necessity, I wouldn’t have stayed in this room.

Not sure how this hotel has been awarded 4 stars! Many people were not able to check-in at 3.00pm because their room wasn't ready. Took then 4 hours to get our room sorted after they 'forgot' to put a bed in the room for our 3 year old son. The room was dirty, in dis-repair and stupidly hot with the smallest fan. There are hardly any plug sockets accessible. Leaking toilet all night, dirty floors & dirty towels. In some instances, the room was unsafe for my son. The main bar, by 9.00pm every table was filled with glasses. There was no space for you to put your drink. Only 2 bar servers, so there was always a que. Constantly running out of change. Breakfast was equally as shambolic. No host, only 2 waitresses and at 9.00am told certain buffet items weren't going to be replenished. Please think when booking.

Located on the Chatham/Rochester boarder the St. George Hotel is the ideal base at the heart of the Medway towns. We have 45 bedrooms all en suite, digital tv and radio, hospitality trays and telephones.
We found this hotel was perfect for any type of stay. Convenient located from main motorway roads and 5 minutes walk from fast train service to London. We met few workers who were working in London Oval and staying at this hotel for sometime. Inhouse restaurant serve traditional English dishes and some are actually homemade freshly. Bar seating is nice with decent ambient to relax and catch up with friends or family. We visited hotel with our pet and found all staff was extremely friendly and caring. Our little pup even received a treat from hotel. It was indeed a great visit to St George Hotel.

With the cathedral and train station just minutes away it's a perfect stay for both business and pleasure. Rochester high street is popular for its annual Dickens festival in celebration of Charles Dickens, with tours and events around all year. We have stunning views of the cathedral and riverside, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby to really make your stay fit all needs.
good location and good rooms. But I will advice you rethink the breakfast buffet. It was no value for money. Waited 30 minutes for them to bring out scramble egg and bake brand. Poor exoeriences. I wasted time and I was not the only one. It's was not a buffet, seems they were stingy with food.

Hotel was clean and tidy and quiet during the night. Happy hour at the bar was a nice surprise. Had dinner there and breakfast the next morning, both were enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially John who was multitasking the whole time! No hairdryer supplied so take your own. Would recommend.

I like staying at a Premier Inn. It's consisstant, clean and good value for money. Parking was very good, and staff was always friendly. On site restaurant is good and also good value for money. I find the pillows uncomfortable and the rooms does get a bit hot, but widows can be opened

We had room 201 which was a twin room it was spacious and very clean with a large shower. The only thing that’s wasn’t the best were the pillows which we thin and lumpy. I would prefer to pay a bit more for breakfast and get better quality sausages and bacon. The staff were friendly and hard working. Brilliant value for money and I would definitely recommend staying in a Wetherspoons hotel.

Quite an old property. Rooms are big. However, rooms are not sound proof. Food is ok but not many options for vegetarians like me. I was on the ground floor and the room was quite cold for me. The staff at the reception are very helpful. They gave me a portable blower to keep my room warm as the heaters were not working.

Disastrous experience in the morning, nil management. 20 mins to get a table, 20 mins to get a plate, replenishing breakfast was a nightmare not to mention the long queue to get a mug and 15 mins just for coffee. It took over 1hr 30 mins, this impacted on our checkout.
