Staff was real nice & friendly. Pool closes at 11 pm which we enjoyed. Room was clean. Bathtub had a hair in it & bathroom floor had a few dust but other than that pretty clean. I loved how comfortable their pillows are ! They have breakfast. Would of liked more options but overall decent. Overall a good stay. Just the price is a little too expensive for what comes with.

This is the first negative review I ever made. My husband and I are in our 40's and are avid travelers. This is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. 1. We could not figure out how to get the water to come out the shower head. 2. Bath towels were a little larger than hand towels and very rough. 3. Bath mat was fringed and freyed. 4. Extreme amount of gross grime and dirt on inside of front door by the handle. 5. Plug-in air freshener plugged into the wall, I'm assuming to hide odors. 6. 12 cup Coffee maker that needed a coffee filter and coffee but instead came with Kurig style cups. 7. Remote control for T.V. wouldn't work 8. The attic access above the door had a 24" broken wooden piece and was laying on the floor of the room 9. Door handle was very loose and about to fall off. 10. We accidentally got locked out of our room and I went to the office to get a new key but they were closed, locked up and all staff members were absent by 6:30p.m. on a Saturday night. 11. Beds were stiff, scratchy sheets and the bedding smelled like air freshener, which gave us headaches. We checked out before the sun came up the next morning. We called the office to explain our concerns and see how they would accommodate us. The woman on the phone said she could write our info on a sticky note and give us a 50% discount on our next stay. We declined. We would never consider staying here again. Save your money and your sanity! Find another place to stay.

So this is not a town with a lot of options, but the Comfort Suites still needs to try a bit harder. Our room appeared clean, if a little worn-looking. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However: no coffee makers in the room, which is really not acceptable. I don't want to have to go down to the breakfast room at 6 am to get coffee. And I noticed several spiders in the room. I know it's summertime in a rural area, but that shouldn't happen. And although I hadn't planned to use the pool, I was surprised to see it closed "for the season" as the sign said. The summer season? On top of that, the pool water was green and gross-looking, obviously untended and unhealthy. Why would they just leave it like that? Do better.

Check in was quick and easy. Parking was ample and free. Room was spacious and clean. nice shower, not tub. It was set off the main street just enough so that rooms i the back were quiet. The heating was quiet - yeah!

This is my first night on our family trip and we’ve noticed. Dried blood on the blankets, dirty walls, looked up at the ceiling and it’s DISGUSTING! I tried checking in a little earlier and the lady told me I couldn’t because the room was being cleaned... well how clean did this room actually get!? I WILL BE TALKING TO THE FRONT DESK FIRST THING IN THE MORNING!! During a world pandemic these are not things that should be an issue!! Lobby was HOT, smelled awful! Only thing half way decent is the small pool! For $111 a night you would think this place would be a little nicer. I’m disgusted!!!!! The owners are RUDE!!! And not accommodating at all!!! I was beyond disappointed, disgusted all of the above!!!

The Charles Wesley Motor Lodge is in the middle of downtown Broken Bow. For the weary traveler and the weekend sightseer, all 50 rooms offer the comforts of home at a reasonable price. Excellent outdoor opportunities are close by including canoeing, boating, hiking, bird watching, golfing, scuba diving, hunting, mountain biking, camping, horseback riding, four-wheeling, and all types of fishing at Broken Bow Lake, and Lower Mountain Fork River.
I goofed and booked the wrong date for our stay but eventually got it straitened out. Charles Wesley Lodge is kind of old but has an old fashioned, rustic feel to it. The walls are wooden planks. Our room had a fridge, a microwave and 2 queen sized beds. They were very comfortable and I got a good night’s sleep. The beds had blankets and bedspreads, which I like. On the bad side, we were on the bottom floor and you could hear every creaking footstep of the people in the room above us. We were in room #140. Our room was at the end of the building. There was a small step at the end of the walkway. People’s suitcases and the cleaning lady’s cart would make a loud clump every time they hit the step. The next morning the cleaning lady knocked on our door at 8:30am to see if we were still there, which we didn’t appreciate since we weren't up yet. I was going to give the lodge 3 stars, but since I got a very good night's sleep I'm giving it 4 stars.

We stayed here on Sat. nite Oct 2nd. We had fled (literally) from a nasty hotel in another county where we had had 2 nights reservation. We were pretty desperate for a room & everything in Broken Bow & Hochatown was booked, due to it being a weekend, the Bigfoot Festival, and a gun show in the area. Being nervous about the place as we didn’t find too many recent reviews we asked the owner/innkeeper if we could look at the room before we booked & she had no problem taking us to a room with shower only. She then asked if we wanted to look at a different room that had a bathtub but we told her that the huge shower was fine. We paid for our room & brought our bags in. There was a rolling luggage cart available if you needed it. The room was dated in décor but as CLEAN as any room I have ever seen. The sheets were crisp & clean & there were plenty of pillows. The bathroom was spotless and there were plenty of towels. This is a former Microtel now owned by the woman & her husband for the last couple of years. I think they do most of the housekeeping too as she mentioned having to go clean a couple of upstairs rooms when she finished with our paperwork. The room is very basic with a med-sized TV with limited channels but there were enough choices to satisfy my husband who likes to watch TV before he goes to bed. There are no chairs in the room to sit on, no phone, and just a clothes bar instead of a whole closet to hang clothes in. There is a long ‘desk/dresser/table’ attached to one wall, but no chair if you needed to sit at the desk part to write or use a laptop or anything. There were plenty of packets in the bathroom of individual shampoos, conditioner, lotion, and 4 or 5 soap bars if I remember right. She had taken the time to arrange the amenities to look attractive and there were more than we needed. The beds were firm but comfortable and the air conditioner worked GREAT and was responsive to us tapping in our desired temperature for sleeping – which is more than I can say of some hotels. The only down side is that they are not yet using the breakfast area and there wasn’t any breakfast of any kind offered. It was clean & decorated, but not used. THAT was not a big deal to me, and my husband is not normally a fan of hotel breakfasts anyway, but we would have loved to have been able to get a cup of coffee in the morning. I think that the owners should go to the local store and buy a cheap coffee maker, and offer to make coffee IF anyone wants it in the morning. The owner was sweet, down to earth and we enjoyed our overnight stay. It didn’t appear there were many other guests and the hotel was quiet. We got a good nights sleep and I wouldn’t have any problem staying here again or recommending it to someone. I dont know of the have or offer wifi as we didnt ask nor need any during our stay. The hotel is out on a loop that goes around the town. There is a huge gas station called Gasquatch 4.5 miles east on the loop that has gas, a real restaurant inside, a classic car collection to admire, snacks & food to go, and some souvenirs. I recommend stopping in there on your way in or out.

Definitely not my first choice, but there’s not many options in/near Valiant. The couple that manages is very nice (although make sure you lock the door when you’re showering, they’ll still come in and clean if you don’t). Rooms are kept very clean, the motel itself is just old and never intended to be more than what it is.
