Poor Wifi / Cable TV / TV remotes

Reviewed By mitchellwest

The staff was very nice but the Cable TV was terrible. TV kept losing signals, many TV shows I was watching froze, were lost or went blank, The TV remotes were defective and did not properly operate the TV. The WiFi was non existent to the point of my using my mobile phone Hot Spot to complete required and important work, This is an annoying occurance that must be FIXED AND CORRECTED.

Best stay!

Reviewed By Jilbear

A large group of us just stayed this past weekend for my Son's Wedding. We had a great time and the staff at this hotel was helpful and friendly. We booked an event for Friday night and Mary Cay did a great job with all of the arrangements. Our family and friends were very happy with everything and a bunch of them enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend stays and events at this hotel!

Good but they have some work to do

Reviewed By BBVacation2015

Good but they have some work to do. Good location near interstate, shopping and restaurants. Plenty of parking. Room was clean. Large pool. Employees at check in, pool and housekeeping were nice. Female employee at check out could have been a little friendlier. The second night I was there was a lot of noise from outside my room and next door. The people in adjoining room were trying to open the door and kept loud until 12:30am and I could not sleep. I finally had to get dressed and go downstairs to talk to front desk. The employee moved me to another room on different floor and came up to the room. He could hear the noise in the hall and said would talk to the guests. I had to pack up all of my belongings and move to another room. I realize that this is not the hotels fault as they have no control over guests noise. I asked the next morning to talk to the manager but he was not in. I left a handwritten note and no contact. When checking out, I asked the female employee that I had previously left note in was the manager the man sitting in office I could see and she said yes. When I asked about the note I left, she seemed annoyed when I asked to talk to him and about the printed bill and charges. The manager came out and I asked to sit down and talk to him. I asked did he get my note and he said yes but was busy and hadnt called me. I feel like he seemed a little annoyed that I wanted to talk about the issue and told me he had credited that night. I appreciate that but hadnt even known until I asked for a printed copy of my bill and looked it over. No one even told me. Need to work on customer service and informing customers. Also, i thought website said offered newspapers but could never get one while i was there.

Average Fairfield

Reviewed By RogerandShel

This is the typical Fairfield, the rooms were nice, but close enough to the highway that you'll have highway noise. Desk staff were nice and were professional. Breakfast was not good. First it is supposed to start at 6:30 each weekday however the week we were there it was never ready. Tuesday the 30th of November the food finally was out by 7:15 - but the eggs were cold as was the sausage so no idea what that was about. The cereals got put out around 7:30. Juice machine at 7:00. Wed Dec 1 the breakfast was out and ready by 7:00 but the juice machine I had to find a staff member to turn it on. Thursday was horrible as I finally decided to go down at 7 to give them time....well mistake. The covid excuses are getting old.

Dated and dirty

Reviewed By bfandn

Well it was a cheap stay, $ 80 for the night but the place is pretty rough. The lobby bathroom had not been cleaned in who knows how long. Just general dirtiness abounds. Our room had a newish vinyl plank floor which is an upgrade from some nasty carpet. The bathroom door had a hole that was covered by a chunk of cardboard, looked like someone kicked through it. The drapes were ripped, hard to say how that happened. Signs in the lobby state we don't rent to locals, humm that's not a confidence booster. On the plus side the water was hot in the shower and the bedding smelled of bleach, so I assume the had been laundered recently.
