Professional and friendly checking in - great setting - rooms very clean and well appointed. I can recommend and will return. Negative - loud and unruly guests partying until early hours of the morning - as there is no one on duty after hours, there is no one to control guests.

Our assigned room wasn't ready on time, so we were given a double family room with a huge bed and enough space for 4 people. The service was excellent. breakfast was good with a generous array of options.

Stayed there a few months ago and found it to be good enough. Sadly it has gone backwards. The room was neat, but the bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was filthy and old. This time I actually thought I would spend a bit more and get a deluxe room. It was inside the main house. The gate opening and closing through the night woke me up all the time. The neighbor’s dog kept barking through the night. It was the worst sleep I had in months! I’ll be looking somewhere else to stay over when I’m in Manzini again.

Swazi Village Home Stay is situated in the hills of Swaziland, off the beaten track, 55km away from the urban environment. Set in the peaceful rural village, Swazi Village Home Stay will leave you feeling like an honored and privileged guest. Ideally perched at the edge of the community. Enjoy sleeping in Swazi Traditional huts and meeting the locals and visiting the local schools, and helping
Myxo gave us the incredible chance to get closer to a rural village in eSwatini. The cute little village in the middle of the mountain is a little hidden pearl. We arrived and saw a football match and the locals were all very friendly with us and willing to chat and know a bit about us. Unfortunately the visit to the school was not possible cause it was holiday period so we went for a walk and chat with Myxo he afternoon after we arrived. The day after we went for another walk and along the way we saw other houses and went for a brief visit to the Home stay's neighbours. We ate local food and slept in the traditional Swati hut. The drive to the place was pretty "intense" as the road is broken and full of holes, luckily nothing happened to our car but probably better to drive to there with Myxo who is better used to it than us, but yet...it was still part of the experience.

Global Village is indeed a hotel with 34 executive self-contained rooms, a restaurant with a touch of class serving contemporary classic fusion cuisine, 120 seater high-tech conference hall ideal for business and social events, a resident bar with a wide range of wine, whiskeys, lagers, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Wifi is good. Spacious conference room, for a small group though. The environment is peaceful more so because the guesthouse is outside town. Clean rooms. I feel like the bathrooms are small though. The food is good especially lunch and supper. I remember this other day we had indigenous chicken for supper? the pool is alright. One gets a good view on Madonsa townships which is refreshing more especially in the morning

Stayed here over the Swazi Rally weekend. A newly built/refurbed and done beautifully so. This place is let down by the restaurant . Nearly 80% of the items on the menu are not readily available . Every time I ordered something there was a certain ingredient that the kitchen did not have. No fault of the Chef or staff I am sure. Its a real pity , this place has so much potential! Overall, a nice quiet place to stay over and break from maybe your onward journey.

Clean and run by nice people, but superbly basic. Hard to justify the price given a random collection of rooms with shared bathrooms. It did have WiFi that worked quite well. But do not think of it as anything more than a basic hostel where you can cook your own meals in a semi-functional kitchen. For $70, I can get a much better room in just about any city in the world, including NYC and London.

Truly a home away from home, for both holiday makers and business travellers. Valley View Lodge is conveniently located at ext9 (Fairview North), a friendly and lively up-market suburb of Manzini, 3 km from the center of town. Beautiful scenery across the valley and up the mountains, lovely tranquil place in a warm environment.
Our family of 4 stayed three nights for the Bushfire festival. We were disappointed when we pulled up but became more comfortable with each night. We'd consider it again only if we had business in Manzini, however the 25-30 minute drive to Malkerns makes it a 'never again' for Bushfire. The hotel grows on you, and ultimately we had a decent stay; however there's no way this should be classified as a three-star hotel. I'd give it two. I'm baffled by the reviews describing the facility as "'elegant". It's certainly not that, but it's reasonably comfortable, with some notable 'cons'. Pros: -reasonable price -surprisingly comfortable bed -good AC/heating unit -nice hot shower -great TV/cable for the space -polite staff -10 min drive to Riverstone mall (convenient for dining since the hotel does not have a restaurant) -better than average kitchenette (very helpful if traveling with a baby) --breakfast was ok, but light. Cons: -Horribly loud at night. Rooms are ground-level facing the lobby. Every conversation, door slam, or phone call could be heard easily and loudly even through closed doors and windows. Serious sound-proofing would be required to sleep comfortably through the night. Not great for babies. --Horribly bright at night. Curtains are thin and security lights right outside the window shine inside each room making it uncomfortable to sleep. We had to hang extra blankets up over the window blinds to block the light and get some privacy. Also not great for babies. -slow internet. Strong enough to check e-mail but not browse the web. -No restaurant. Dinner available only by prearrangement. FYI: Location is in a regular neighborhood vs. a tourist zone so lots of litter, burning smells, folks chilling at night, etc. It did not feel unsafe to us, and we even considered joining the always-large crowd at the restaurant/bar up the street; however this would not be an option for everyone.
