This hotel/motel is hidden away in the Kent countryside but is well worth finding. The rooms are motel style but in a very quaint and unusual style. I thoroughly enjoyed a pint of Dairy Top beer before sitting down to dinner. The dining area consists of several small spaces on different levels with the ceilings draped with hop plants -very striking.I had monkfish risotto which was perfectly done with a large piece of fish and the rice flavoured with leek and fennel.I had a couple of glasses of Lychgate Bacchus white wine which were superb -English wine has arrived and it is as good as any. For pudding I had sticky toffee pudding - again expertly done. The service was excellent- friendly and efficient. The rooms and a little compact but well equipped. The shower has one of those glass panes in a bath that leaks water all over the floor -a bugbear of mine but I don't have to clean up! Breakfast was perfect eggs Benedict and coffee. I would definitely visit again.

Arrived here on Thursday for a 2 night stay. The guy that checked us in was very friendly. Room was spotlessly clean. We requested more towels and tea bags and was given straight away. The young lady on the desk in the evenings was friendly too. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant next door, Friendly staff there too.

Spa review only Booked a morning revive spa package as a treat for my wife . This was described as a wonderful relaxing package and sadly it was anything but this. Arrived at 9:45 to use the pool and facilities. Firstly there is no jacuzzi which was not too much of an issue . The Pool is small and 1/3 was cordoned off for toddler swim sessions ! These began at 10am and continued non stop till 1pm with a new class every 30 minutes. The sessions involved young children, babies and parents with an instructor singing nursery rhymes splashing etc. The sauna and steam rooms are directly off the pool and even when in these all we could hear was constant noise. Singing and instruction being given etc We have nothing at all against the instructor or parents . We are parents of two kids and had treated ourselves to unwind from our busy jobs and kids . No mention was made of the swim lessons on the website or during two phone calls with staff before attending . I wonder why that is can you imagine ..” sir just to point out that during your relaxing spa morning you will be sharing the leisure facilities with various groups of 1 to 4 year olds ! There were 6 manky looking loungers around the Pool that we didn’t bother to use . How are you supposed to relax when 2 metres away you have an instructor barking orders and singing nursery rhymes . The pool is dated , the paint is flaking off the ceiling in the steam room . Only positive we can give is that the 30 minute back massages were good. The light lunch was a burger , pizza or salad . For the money paid I feel completely ripped off and more wound up than when we attended.

Whether you're staying to see the sights or you're here on business, Premier Inn Hotel Maidstone Town Centre is a really handy place to stay. Many of our guests come for the festivals too, including the River Festival on the Medway. You could join in the celebrations at the Social Festival, or get away from it all strolling the rolling Kent Downs. See the awesome-inspiring Leeds Castle, or simply wander around Maidstone town centre for some great shopping at Fremlin Walk. Then return and recharge in our tasty restaurant and lovely comfy beds.
A great hotel - but difficult to find, with awkward access if you're driving. The signage is, well, absent! Without a satnav I'd've been scuppered. It took several laps of the block to find my way in.

Having stayed when this hotel was the Hilton little has changed. It was nice to see some of the old staff have stayed. Christos and the team are hard working and attentive and deserve a pay rise for the quality of service provided. An issue with dinner on the first night was resolved quickly and amicably. All the staff are pleasant and customer service is good. Unfortunately we experienced a lot of noise on the Sat night with people running up and down the corridor until 2:30 in the morning. Not exactly what you go away for!!! The following night a dog in the adjacent room barking until all hours and again from 6am. Because of this I doubt that we will be returning as our nice short break has left us tired and in need of another break! Hotel is nice from the outside but in need of some TLC inside. Unable to run bath had to use the shower which is far to hard to get into due to the height. Paint work needing doing and high level dusting required in the dining room. Coffee machines in adequate for amount of guests at breakfast. Ruth and Mark Watson

Friendly staff, allowed me to check in early, room was spotless, bathroom exceptionally clean, not a spot of mould in site, room was basic but good enough for what we needed, quiet location even though it was next to a dual carriageway

Opening this spring, Leeds Castle in Kent is offering families and couples the chance to escape to the countryside for a glamorous camping holiday with a difference. Located just under an hour’s drive from London, eight traditionally coloured striped tents based on Medieval design, form a ‘village’ on the one-acre castle vineyard.
We had a wonderful overnight stay in the picturesque grounds of Leeds Castle. We were impressed from the outset as staff at the accommodation reception were so friendly and welcoming. Much credit should also be given to the cleaners as the tent and cottage with shower and kitchen block were spotless and we could see just how hard they were working from the early hours of the morning. Knights Glamping is excellent value as you get entrance to the castle and grounds over the duration of your stay. A highlight for us was cooking over a fire and exploring the grounds after hours. A note to other guests: please be considerate and clear up after yourself as the accommodation team provide everything you need to wash up your dishes and empty your bbq after you have finished so that other people can use it. My advice would be to cook early and enjoy the comfort of the picnic bench outside the tent. Overall, highly recommended.
