The Seychelles largest and main island, Mahe is home to the capital of Victoria and about 70,000 people (almost 90% of the nation's total). Still, the island retains its idyllic beauty, with 3,000-foot mountains and scores of gorgeous beaches. Many plants, including the so-called Jellyfish Tree and several rare orchids, are unique to Mahe's shores. The Seychelles Natural History Museum, the Botanical Gardens and the Codevar Craft Centre, all in Victoria, are not to be missed.

Untouched paradise along the Indian Ocean Your Creole getaway awaits at this hidden treasure - also an inspiration to James Bond creator Ian Fleming. Surrounded by white-sand beaches, tropical gardens and crystal waters, the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa is a true escape. Our villas are perched on stilts, providing gorgeous views and plenty of privacy. An infinity pool, oceanfront dining, a luxurious spa, glass-bottom boat tours - it's just the beginning of your retreat in Beau Vallon Bay.
Our stay at the Hilton Northolme was nothing short of fantastic from the moment we checked in up until the checkout. The resort is stunning with a beautiful views from every angle, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was outstanding nothing too much trouble for the staff, the gym was great and above all the staff no matter which part of the resort you were at were always smiling and friendly going above and beyond. Highly recommend this hotel as very close to the Beau Vallon area too with the beach and can’t wait to go back.

Ideally situated on the northwest corner of Mahé, on the ivory, sandy strip of Beau Vallon beach. STORY Seychelles is just 30 minutes drive away from Seychelles International Airport and 10 minutes away from the capital, Victoria. A handcrafted interpretation of elegance suffused with warmth, this intimate boutique resort is a natural representation of Seychellois authenticity, blended with modern comforts for the discerning guest. Located in Beau Vallon Beach one of the most luxurious neighbourhoods in the picturesque island of Mahè and has 3km of white sand beach and turquoise water is the only swimmable beach in Mahe all year round. Our Boutique Resort has a natural reef that you can reach swimming 50m directly from the beach. Tranquil, sustainable green certificated and culturally connected, not only by its Creole colonial architecture but also by Seychellois. Renowned for its azure turquoise oceans, crystal white beaches and lush emerald greenery – expect nothing but undisturbed views, charming creole hospitality, and a new height of indulgence at this paradise resort.
One of the reasons we booked Story for our honeymoon was the honeymoon package which was advertised on their website. There is nowhere on their website to select the honeymoon package when booking. I therefore emailed the hotel that we were on our honeymoon in advance of arrival. I then advised again that we we were on our honeymoon upon checking in. I was then left red faced and embarrassed in front of my new wife when, upon checking out, I was told that "the system" did not have the honeymoon package selected and I would have to pay full price for all the items listed as complimentary in the honeymoon package. Very disappointing.

Service very slow, I have asked 4 times for a bottle of water. After being pissed, they served me a salad with a hair in it. Worst experiemce of my life. I would never suggest something like this to anyone especially if you are on holydays and you want to have top service.

What could I possibly say that will encompass my experience at Anantara Maia from the rooms to the service to the staff amazing. My partner and I stayed 4 nights and everyone was so accommodating. I had to start a new paragraph to talk about Amita and Pasek, they were the stars of the vacation. Setting up our dining experiences and always being there when needed. They made us feel so comfortable and taken care of, they knew what we wanted before I even had to ask. So observant, that's 5 star experience. These two made my partner 40th birthday a dream come true. So warm and caring and going the extra mile for us. I will always remember those two and the time they gave us. When we come back we will definitely be asking for Amita and Pasek, the best of the best villa hosts. The staff member, Mike was so helpful with the canoe and providing us with what we need, so helpful and friendly. The spa experience as well as yoga was amazing. I was able to relax and get exercise. Finally, the GM Mathieu was amazing and so friendly, and went above and beyond. Exactly what you think a GM should be and he was that and so much more.

The design and the architecture have a single purpose: to enhance the natural environment and the beauty of the Seychelles! Private pool, outdoor veranda, raw wood, terrace, local craftsmanship, tropical motifs... the Rooms and Suites come in a wide variety of forms. The space and the layouts are generous to highlight the decor inspired by adventure and exoticism.

A contemporary & intimate home, providing the backdrop to a multi-layered experience.Creative ingenuity, expansive views enveloped in the rugged nature of the Seychelles.Rooted in the South of Mahé, Mango House sits in her very own bay of Anse Aux Poules Bleues “Bay of the Blue Chickens”. All 41 of our spaces have ocean views of the bay. Mango House has an abundance of stories to be told, thanks to its original owner Gian Paolo Barbieri, world famous fashion & life photographer whose curiosity for travel led him to the Seychelles where he had built three of his homes on Mahé of which Mango House was his last.

"Kindly note, we will be undergoing some repair work around the sea wall and Executive Rooms at Fisherman’s Cove Resort from 22 November 2021 for 3 months. Hence there will be some noise and hoarding in that area. We do apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause during your stay with us. The finished project will give our guests direct access to the Beau Vallon beach and they can also enjoy leisurely walks along our boardwalk."
We spend our honeymoon in this hotel and we stayed 14 days. It was the best time we had, we loved & enjoyed it so much! We got an upgrade to Junior Suite, it was always very clean and spacious. The food was great, we had booked breakfast - it was always diverse and delicious! We can also recommend the in-Room dining. The service was amazing, all employees were so kind and lovely - never had such a perfect service! We felt very welcome and in good hands! The hotel entrance and the pool area were stunning with such a beautiful view on the entire Beau Vallon Beach. We can absolutely recommend this place and we will come back for sure! Thank you!

Sailfish Beach Villas are set in a beautifully kept garden complex, planted with exotic palms, cinnamon, vanilla, hibiscus, and tropical fruits. The villas boast stunning views overlooking the calm, shallow waters of the bay of Anse a la Mouche and sleep up to five people each in two bedrooms. Anse a la Mouche is located at the south end of the main island of Mahe in the Seychelles. The villas are situated away from the noise and bustle of the capital of Victoria, yet within easy reach of local restaurants and quiet beaches with soft white sand and clear water - excellent for snorkeling. Each villa offers two large fully air-conditioned double bedrooms with king-size beds, fitted wardrobes and a dressing table. A baby cot is also available upon request. The lounge features a balcony with plenty of space for dining and some of the bedrooms also have their own balconies overlooking the bay. The kitchenettes in each villa vary in size but are all fully equipped with the essentials required for a self-catering holiday.
We stayed here on two occasions and were delighted with our stay. The apartments have a gorgeous view, are spacious and have everything you need for a great stay. Super clean too! Hugo is a great host and absolutely charming. He can arrange for you to be picked up at the airport for Euro 30 (only 20 minutes away). Better yet, he can arrange a car hire (as the villas are in the south of the island away from the Beau Vallon beach strip where you can walk to everything and taxis are expensive). There is no food served on the premises but the driver who picks you up at the airport will stop at a supermarket where you can stock up before arriving at the apartment. Hugo will give you the number of a family business that offers basic food (and fresh coconuts!) and delivers direct to your villa (delivery only from around noon.) WIFI is a bit slow as it is on most of the island. But we absolutely loved having a washing machine in our villa. Although the villas are on a hill, there is some noise from the traffic on there road below. If you are a light sleeper, therefore, it might be good to bring earplugs, although with the air conditioner on you won't hear much noise. We enjoyed our stay at Sailfish Villas and would happily stay here again.
