Reviewed By Linstev111An unexpectedly pleasant hotel which, despite being so close to the airport is surprisingly quiet. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely big rooms with great terrace overlooking pretty gardens. Lovely pool area. No restaurant but short walk to a great meal at the hotel over the road. So convenient for our last night in Corsica; just 5 minutes to check-in at the airport!

little oasis in a busy part of Corsica
Reviewed By carinb736We were so lucky to find this hotel and we stayed there for 7 nights. The rooms are quite nice and spacious, bathrooms with everything you need and very comfortable beds. The room has air-condition which makes no noise at all.. Outside we had a lovely partly covered terrace with sun loungers and garden chairs. There is a very nice tennis court, which we did not use, (too hot to play) and a superb large swimming pool with lots of sun loungers. The hotel is about 20 minutes way from Bastia and very conveniently located if you want to discover Corsica. The airport is also not far away, but there is absolutely no noise from airplanes flying over. The only noise you hear during the day is a little train passing, but around 8:30 this also stops. A special compliment to the staf and personnel: they were so kind and helpful, we really felt at home. We arrived by ferry early in the morning and they told us that our room was already ready for us and even offered us to have breakfast . Same happened on our last day. Checkout time is normally 12:00 o'clock which we did, but they knew that our ferry was only leaving at 20:00 hrs, so they offered us to stay in one of their rooms instead of driving around without a purpose. The restaurant is good, very nice wines and prices are correct. In short we definitely recommend this hotel for families, but also for business purposes and if we ever return to Corsica we book again with Chez Walter.

Reviewed By Maddy TOverpriced drinks and food from the bar, but considering they are the nearest stuff you can get, you can understand why this is. The air con is good, but the wifi is poor. Over all quite a nice place for the one off evening, not for a whole week, as we did. Very nice location, step out straight onto the beach.

Reviewed By normundss169Amazing hosts, beautiful beach, lovely apartment sitting right on the beach with direct access to the sea. Apartment is fully equipped with everything a traveller needs, kitchen is good size, bed is very comfortable with good linens, AC is very quiet, and outside garden has sun beds & chairs & table. Close to the airport and shuttle transportation can be arranged. Special thanks to our charming and very helpful hostess Sandra! Highly recommended to all travelers looking for an unforgettable place to relax.
