Reviewed By packydermOutside of Lalin next to an industrial park. On the Camino Invierno right at the end. Outside of things otherwise. One restaurant nearby but in pouring rain little option but to eat at hotel. Would say this is business hotel. Lacks character. Corridors cell like. Room and bathroom was large but dark decor. Not for a long stay or romance. Spa is small. Again very utilitarian. Not as quiet as expected. Bed comfortable. The lady in charge of dining room at supper was delightful and spoke very good English. Clearly popular hotel for large tour groups. Supper was buffet. Generally Good value. Breakfast buffet was good too. OK hotel but not fantastic.

CAMINO walkers...brilliant stop
Reviewed By renee1234Although a little over the general budget of camino walkers this is a brilliant stop with fabulous rooms, plush and rich with thick caprets, squashy beds and doonas.... we loved our night here and the dinner was delicious. We arrived with a wedding on and so were also entertained by the band who sang Spainsh songs with australian influence. Lovely property. if you want to use the spa / sauna you have to let them know when you book as it takes a little time to heat up. thanks

Lovely hotel, great find!
Reviewed By Gail CWe 'stumbled' across this hotel later in the evening while searching for somewhere to stay for the night. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and very comfortable. My husband went to the front desk to ask if there was a grocery store nearby and was told there was one withing driving distance but it would be closing soon. As the underground parking was a 'challenge' to enter, he was reluctant to take the car out again, but he didn't need to as the lady on the desk said her husband would drive him to the supermarket! And so he did! Couldn't ask for more excellent customer service. The next morning the young lady on the desk came out to help us extract the car from the underground parking lot! Lovely people, lovely hotel and a great find for us!

Reviewed By Carl Lvery simple hotel. Food good. Very had working team. But completely under staffed the new receptionist was extremely helpful and kind. Felt very sorry for them all some rooms had no windows. Disabled hand rail fitted upside down. No TV

Worst hotel on Via de la Plata
Reviewed By CaminoBobI can not recommend this hotel. The room was not pleasant, the only natural light coming from a high window. I could not sleep because there was a students party, with loud disco, going on in the area directly under my room until 2am. When I complained there was little interest from the the staff but I was eventually offered ear plugs. Since these were in an unsealed container I did not accept them. It shows the attitude of the management that they booked rooms immediately above a function that they knew would be very noisy. There were also other things I was not happy about.

Reviewed By Stephan0911We were in Lalín for a dance contest with our daughter and her group (several adults and kids/teens). The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff and owner were very friendly and hospitable despite our late arrival and special requests. Breakfast was nice and cozy. Recommended!

Reviewed By Maria CFuimos en Semana Santa, nos lo pasamos genial, la casa lo tiene todo, súper limpia, cómoda y acogedora, no pasamos frío y a pesar del mal tiempo, que no nos dejó disfrutar del jardín, los niños se lo pasaron genial por la amplitud de la estancia. Una pena que no tuviese wifi. Volveremos

Very good meat
Reviewed By Ray VWe had lunch here on a recent Saturday afternoon. The service was slow and indifferent. My wife had the octopus and I the mixed grill. The octopus was edible, not the worst we have had nor the best. My meat, on the other hand, was excellent. Nicely grilled with just the right amount of fat on the bone to give it a juicy taste. A meal for two set us back 30 euros, which I thought quite reasonable.
