I stayed here for 1 night. Yes, I read the reviews here and did not expect much. Perhaps because of this, this resort is a surprise! 1. The male staff at the reception was super nice, polite and helpful. Check-in and out procedures were done in an efficient manner. 2. The room was very spacious! My "room" was located by the lake with 2 storeys. There were a sitting room, 2 toilets, 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies! Although no luxurious amenities were provided like in 5 stars hotel, it was such a comfortable stay by relaxing next to the lake. Absolutely suitable for a family. 3. The restaurant is grand, serving different local dishes. Servers were courteous. 4. It is located not far from the beautiful Sevanavank. 5 to 10-min drive only. The view of sunset enjoyed in the resort was one of the highlights in my trip!

Tsovasar Family Rest Complex located on the coast of Lake Sevan. The opening of the complex was in 2014. It designed exclusively for family rest and covers about 10 000 sq/m area. Tsovasar has its own sandy beach with coastal recreational facilities. The opening view from balconies of Lake Sevan and Peninsula on the opposite coast will double an enjoyment of rest.
I have been travelling to Sevan with couple of tour operators and a group of women from Russia and Armenia showing them the local attractions. We decided to stop in Tsovasar to see the premises, to have a cup of coffee and to talk to the GM about future cooperation. I have been to the place several times and never had any problem entering the facilities for a cup of coffee or lunch. This time the security guide didn't let us in and called someone else who was constantly on the phone and treating us like trespassers. Very disappointing since I was considering spending a week there in August. I am not very happy with the premises, but it has a great view so I was also trying to promote the space. At any hotel, even of the entrance is prohibited, there is a responsible person who can take you to a tour. Anyway, The hotel lost potential local visitors, Russian tour operators. For a developing country like Armenia this is an unacceptable behavior.

The Hotels Restaurant specializes in dishes featuring locally-caught fish indigenous to the lake. The outdoor dining patio overlooks the sparkling panorama of lake Sevan and the surrounding countryside. Tufenkian Avan Marak Tsapatagh Hotel now offers also a range of activities, including yoga sessions, cooking classes, campsite for kids, cycling and mountain biking tours, guided hiking tours, off-road tours, biking and beach camping.
My third time here. A great hotel in Armenia to pass some time to relax, enjoy the nature, mountains, lakeside, watersports, while being surrounded with the nicest services and friendliest staff, and great food. The hotel also has a pool, mountain bikes, and a 4x4 service to the mountain sides, Not far from there, you have a great watersports location also very friendly beach club. A place NOT to miss while you are in Armenia.

Inside felt so warm and cozy, the food was delicious. There is wifi and nice jazz playing, there is a piano that can be played if you know how. Nice view outside but it was cold when I visited. Bar is also available with many drinks.

I never managed to spend the night here but the view and the building is incredible - a bit of soviet modernist history with a magnificent view. Worth a visit just to examine the structure, have a bite in the restaurant — and wander around along the lake. Fascinating for architectural buffs.

Garden Inn Resort Sevan is sprawled along Sevan most stunning coastline. A favorite for couples, families or small groups, the resort offers unrivaled facilities. The 13 apartments at our resort in Sevan combine modern style with evocative garden and lake views.
This is a lovely hotel with a great, exceptional staff, but what makes it very special is a relaxed atmosphere. Service in any respect was attentive and warmhearted. The rooms are comfortable and the food was fantastic! Stay here, you will be looked after! ❤️

An amazing experience! Staying here is something I’ll do again and again. Interior is more than just beautiful - it’s astonishing. Totally recommend for everyone visiting Gyumri. You can stay here alone or with your significant other. This place is unbelievably beautiful.

If you want to have a noisy, moist-mouldy accomodation for a lot of money with "wonderful" nights lying on bedsprings, a flooded bathroom after taking a shower...Your right at this place. Any other B&B in Armenia offers more service, clean rooms and a plenty of armenian food than this so called "Hotel".

We came here on 28th of August with a rental car from Yerevan ,we had reserved two rooms (one for two and the others for 3 ),we were 6 person, the night before we travel to The hotel they called and canceled on of our reservations!!!!’n this was a disaster management, the only thing cheered me up was the local breakfast with so many different kinds of cheese and sausage omelette . The beach was crowded but happy atmosphere and since we were in the weekend it was predictable.the old lady in the the restaurant was so kind and the old man who guarded the beach was so nice to us.
