Beautiful hotel and location
Reviewed By daisy21988The hotel is very comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. We really enjoyed the birdwatching tour with Mauricio, who is so knowledgable and shared his books and binoculars with us. The tour was very comfortable and accessible since we just walked around the hotel property, but in 2 hours we saw dozens of varieties of birds! Sadly we had to do some work during our stay, but the internet was strong enough for streaming videos and we didn't have any issues. This is a perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway or to do some work from "home"! The only downside is, due to the location, there aren't other options for eating so we had all of our meals in the hotel. They have a great menu so it wasn't a problem but I was glad that we brought some snacks with us.

Nice Family Stay
Reviewed By Fred FExcellent place. We are a family of 4 and we stayed for 3 nights. The service is impeccable and everyone has a smile and great attitude. The food is really good as well. Try the Crocantes de Pescado. Delicious!!! I confidently recommend this hotel and would definitely visit again.

A Beautiful resort style hotel/getaway!
Reviewed By KrusintheworldWe stayed for 3 nights and really loved the atmosphere and retreat style feel to this beautiful area of Colombia! The views and the wildlife were incredible. You can enjoy the pools (yes, multiple pools!) It was clean and did I mention the views!? So many breathtaking views from so many places on this property! Jose and his staff were so accommodating and helpful! Relaxing and enjoyable!

Reviewed By Luisangel13Pasamos una noche en el lugar, y aunque llegamos algo en la noche, nos recibieron de la mejor manera. Desayuno incluido, sin gran variedad de opciones, pero rico. Un lugar tranquilo con las comodidades necesarias para pasar un rato agradable. Muy buen servicio.

Awesome place to relax!
Reviewed By psychomom715Spent a week here with our 3 teenage daughters and had a fabulous time. The breakfasts were delicious, as were all the other meals we ate here. The two pools were fabulous; we had to drag our kids out before they were completely exhausted. Our girls loved visiting the animals. The staff were attentive and responsive to every request. It's a little way out of town, but easy to get to by taxi. The only down-side was the inconsistent internet connection. It was ok for personal use, but if you needed it to work remotely, it was impossible. Would definitely stay here again!

Reviewed By cesarrF3548EWIn the beginning everything seemed good and our hosts were extremely nice. Making us believe we were treated well, overwhelmed and extremely welcome. Unfortunately for us the prices of many items were not clear, advertised or explained and at the moment of paying it was a huge surprise to see such a steep bill with items we will never pay in different places we stayed before. As well as there was always a problem with the system once you wanted to clear out single meals. I found this extremely cheeky. This special phenomenon made us believed as if this special attention from the hosts were simply unauthentic and which is worse and unacceptable taking advantage of every single opportunity to charge us extra. Furthermore many of the items were extremely overpriced with no justification. Finally I will like to state that this place is not even close to a 5 stars as owners are selling it. For instance hot water is not working and the whole place itself lacks many facilities that high end accommodation seeks to offer. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR and ask ask ask how much things cost. Then you will avoid surprises at the end!

Relaxing pasadía
Reviewed By jt89105Went with a family including kids for the pasadía (day pass) for the swimming pool. Kids loved it. Very countryside traditional atmosphere. The finca has good decoration. It is located in the middle of nowhere, you would need a car to get around. The price to get there from La Mesa is COP 30,000 each way by taxi. Some areas of the finca are a little tired (the soccer pitch and the table football) - hence 4 stars - but this does not detract from the main event, which is a very relaxing day by the pool and in the hammocks. Good service and hearty food. Nice cold beers and ice creams. Julian the guy who served us was helpful and always accessible.
