Reviewed By hhyc3Right across the train station, so won't get lost finding it. About 30km from hakata, but price probably 30% less than hakata proper, so an option if has a jr pass as it has frequent connection to hakata. Standard japanese business hotel with free bread and coffee every morning.

Reviewed By chikugoladyWe stayed in the suite on the top floor. It was nicely laid out. However, the floors - as is the case in many Japanese hotels - not clean. They do not shampoo them ever! Worse was the lingering tobacco smell. Gross.

We were having difficulty trying out the famous yakitori in this town (FYI, you would need to make reservation in advance which we were not aware of), as such we went to check with the receptionist at the front desk at around 11pm on the last night of our stay. The receptionist was very helpful. She tried her best to assist us to call multiple yakitori shops nearby and recommended us the one just opposite our hotel. We placed our order (for take out orders to our hotel) with the yakitori shop that was recommended by the receptionist but unfortunately, we did not collect our order in full as we did not check our orders collected and realized that we missed out on a few items after collecting the orders to our hotel rooms. To our surprise, our order that was not collected was delivered to our doorstep by the receptionist lady. The service experienced was beyond our expectation. We would like to express our greatest appreciation to the staff that assisted us. Thank you very much! どうもありがとうございます。

Reviewed By Elliott DStayed here because all of the hotels in Fukuoka were fully booked or ludicrously expensive. Easy to get to by train, some convenience stores and restaurants nearby, the bus station is also nearby so you can take a bus directly to Fukuoka Airport. The ladies that work at this hotel are very nice and helpful, breakfast was good as well. Would definitely stay again!

Reviewed By Nicole YStayed for one night as a stopover before going to Saga and for the famous Kyushu ramen. This is an old hotel but located just opposite to Kurume station. Nice staff but could not speak good English, breakfast does not have many choices however did not expect much as I pay a very low price.

Torn down room, dirty bed sheet, broken lamp and unhelpful hotel staffs
Reviewed By Sunny KWe travel with the family with small chilren and make a stop to this hotel, even though we booked well adhead of time with 3 rooms, when arrived we only been told we had been assigned to "smoking room" even though we made special request on "non-smoking room". They said hotel is full and provide NO other choice for us, the manager is arrogant and not a bit of helpful. We have to take the room and we found one of the room is VERY BAD MAINTAIN with smoke burn on the carpet, broken lamp and dirty bed sheet, torn down chairs and extremly small bed who claim it is a "double room" that accomodate for two. We have never had such poor experience in Japan, my wife and I have traveled to this country for 21 times and this is the first we had this. We find that the management of this hotel is absolutely not helpful and not polite to the customers, it change our view to the Japanese hotel unfortunately. We paid a fair price with the whole family who stay that we expect a fond memory but instead it had been spoiled with nightmare.

Reviewed By ManabuF11春休みに家族連れで訪れました。夕食付きにしましたが、一品一品がとても美味しく満足のいくものでした。スタッフの方もフレンドリーで、子供用の寝具も前もって準備していてくださり助かりました。また行く機会があれば泊まりたい宿です。
