Great service and breakfast, but reasonable
Reviewed By greatdiamondustI'm very confident in recommending this hotel with great staff and service. Room was clean, our room was usual size for Japanese but might be a bit small for foreigners. Breakfast was more than we expected, varietized, filled up often, and most importantly delicious. I'd like to emphasize it is totally different from Comfort Inn in US! We will definitely choose this hotel again because it's so reasonable for great service.

Reviewed By thomastscOk place if you pick the 'Japanese style' rooms ( the basic rooms are horrible) but certainly not close to Hiroshima - a good 45 minutes by train and easily 35 minutes by taxi (not 15 minutes as per their web site). Views are nice from the better rooms and some staff speak good English which helps. Easy walk to station (if you can't wait for the hourly shuttle bus) and room service menu in English which is good because very few restaurants are nearby

Reviewed By papamelon公式HPからだとGoToトラベルが利用出来たのでこちらの宿を訪問いたしました。 JR呉線の広駅と新広駅から徒歩で10分程度ですが ちょっと不安になるような(いい味出してる)狭い路地にあります。 夜も遅かったので宿の1階にある併設バーで夕食(共通クーポン使用可)。 バーに訪れていた地元の方と地元のビールを飲みながら雑談。 こちらの宿の話や街の話などを聞けてとても貴重な時間を過ごせました。 旅の者でありながら広の街に受け入れられたようでとても嬉しかったです。 施設自体は古いですが改築(進行中？)されていて とりわけドミトリーのベッドは手作りのため広くて頑丈です(これは重要)。 近所のカラオケスナックから漏れる『シルエット・ロマンス』を聴きながら ゆったりと眠ることが出来ました。 翌朝はオーナーさんとコーヒーを飲みながら談笑。 ゲストハウス開業(2020年3月!!)の経緯や携わった広の人々の話などなど。 宿を発つのが惜しくなるような贅沢な朝を過ごせました。 今回は1泊だけしか出来なかったのが残念ですが とびしま海道サイクリングの拠点になる場所ですし(宿にレンタサイクル有) 広島市内にも電車で(船でも!)1時間弱の立地なので 近いうちにまた訪ねられたらいいなと思います。 一晩しか滞在していないのに広の街が好きになりました。

Reviewed By AbsoluteZeroKelvinStayed 2N on vacation. For a business hotel, they have large standard rooms. Comfy bed. Aircon didn't want to move below 25 degrees despite my nudging. Nice toiletries. Speedy free Wifi in room. No onsen - you need to take a short walk to the public baths. Breakfast was average for a business hotel. Polite Staff.

Reviewed By Soumitra Na 5 min walk from the Kure station and you are at the information center / check-in desk of the hotel . The lobby is spacious . Room rates are very reasonable ( paid JPY 6950 /day ) including a fixed menu breakfast coupon - ( one can choose either Japanese or Western style ). The ( non -smoking ) room I was allotted , was surprising quite spacious ( considering Japanese style hotel rooms ) . Only thing that i felt was missing and they could have additionally provided was at least a bottle of mineral water in the empty mini refrigerator . Overall , a nice place to stay as the station and restaurants are all nearby.

Reviewed By trip9696内容は質素なのですが、価格を上回る内容の献立とサーブでした 今回、到着が6時を過ぎ、お風呂に入れてもらってからの夕食だったのですが、私たち一組が遅くなっただけなのにもかかわらず、天ぷらは揚げたて、お刺身も作りたてをだしてくれました。配膳も非常に的確でした

Reviewed By コバケイとびしま海道を自転車で走った際にこちらに宿泊しました。 大きな通り沿いのビルで、1階ではオーナーさんがたこ焼き屋をやってます。 自転車は5階に置かせてもらいました。 談話室&シャワールームが居住スペースと違う部屋だったので、いちいち鍵を開けたり閉めたりと面倒でしたが、セキュリティ上仕方がないかとも思います。 部屋は清潔で良かったです。 飲み屋さん、ご飯やさんも近所にいろいろあり便利でした。

Reviewed By Karl38I've stayed here several times over the past 10 years. I speak little Japanese and the staff speaks little English, but I do OK. As near as I can tell, there are a couple of buildings. The one you check in at has some rooms. I stay at their other building about half-a block down the street. It's kind of an apartment building. The room is great -- like a studio apartment with a small kitchen and clothes washer. Last time I had a maintenance issue and the staff responded promptly and took care of it. Three caveats: 1) all instructions on the appliances are in Japanese -- I translated by taking a picture with the Google translate app. 2) There is no Wi-Fi -- there is an ethernet connection. I brought a "travel router" to connect to it and give me Wi-Fi. 3) As near as I can tell, there are no, you cannot select, no-smoking rooms. In the past, this has worked out and I didn't notice previous smoking. This time, the room had a strong cigarette smell -- it dissipated after a few days but not completely. When I got home some of my clothing still smelled of cigarettes. If I could get a smoke-free room reliably I would rate this 5 stars. Great location -- a half block from a 24-hour 7/11, near a busy street to catch a bus, and a couple of blocks down from a covered-street shopping area. Excellent restaurants there and elsewhere in the area. A great place for the money.
