A stunning modern gem tucked away on the sands of Laem Mae Phim Beach, the Centara Q Resort Rayong is invites you into a crisp, futuristic cocoon. Small and sleek, the hotel has just 41 rooms (34-58 square metres). Clean, swooping lines combine with subtle recessed lighting and judicious touches of evocative colour, adding up to a sophisticated retreat in tune with its surroundings. The resort's dining venues also sport a bold new look. Just because the resort is built on an intimate scale doesn’t mean that it’s missing any of the touches that help create a great getaway; here you’ll find a spa, a large swimming pool, an entertainment zone, water sports, and a meeting venue. GrandBlue Resort & Beachclub is a full-service oceanfront hotel nestled on Mae Phim Beach, on the eastern coast of Thailand. Just a two-hour drive from Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
Booked the Grand Blue Resort & Beach Club on Mea Phim beach for a short weekend getaway. Firstly, was pleasantly surprised that it was only just over a 2-hour drive to Laem Mae Phim from the centre of Bangkok. Arrived in pouring rain, the first impression of the car park is a bit baren and likewise the Reception area somewhat cavernous. However, the lovely smile and warm welcome from the receptionist soon had us relaxed and ready to enjoy. We had a room on the ground floor (so very easy access for disabled if needed), you enter the room from the terrace door and are immediately welcomed but the lovely, mellow colour scheme of ochre and blue. The room is good sized and has full amenities with equipped bathroom with rain shower. Room facilities include A/C, TV, telephone, small fridge, umbrella (much appreciated), bath robes and tea making facilities. The hotel is built around it’s oversized pool, there are plenty of loungers, kids area and places to sit by the pool with refreshments. The restaurant is very good with a wide variety of dishes for all tastes. Prices are reasonable and staff very friendly and efficient. There is also a sauna and fitness room. Mae Phim beach is just opposite the hotel. This is a vast stretch of white sandy beach stretching in both directions. Beach towels are supplied by the hotel. It rained almost continuously during our 3 days there (actually quite unusual for Thailand) but the ambience of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff meant that we enjoyed every minute.

Located only two hours from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, travelers will find it very convenient to reach this boutique hotel with complete amenities in the area. Here, guests are treated to the best private beach in Rayong, with endless stretch of soft sand, Samed Island visible in the distance, and gentle breeze year round.
We are at the Resort now and will stay over Xmas and a few days beyond . We find it hard to reconcile some of the negative reviews we have read with our own experiences here. Considering the issues all hotels in Thailand have had to contend with over the last few years because of Covid19 some of the negative comments beggar belief! This is a simple, small, informal, quiet place. It is not a large plush resort. The bungalow we are staying in is clean, spacious, well equipped and well maintained. The cleaners do a great job and any maintenance issues we raised have been dealt with quickly. The cost of the accommodation is very reasonable. The private beach is perfect. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The Breakfast offered is more than adequate with both Thai and European options available. If you are looking for a laid back simple place to stay we would thoroughly recommend it to you.

We just booked this resort couple of days before our trip with no great expectations... It was just one night - we didn't need much. But honestly we were surprised at the amazing service, clean and beautiful rooms, and top-notch breakfast. The people at reception were perfectly polite and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean, and had a cute little swing on the verandah where I spent a leisurely morning with my book. The beach was just across the street and it was a lovely stretch to walk and dip. The Thai food selling shacks near the beach were an absolute treasure. We found one shack just diagonal to our resort - chosen simply bcz it had a menu in English. The food was amazing and so reasonably priced that we really want to go there again. The breakfast at the resort was not a huge spread, since places had just started opening up after covid, but the eggs, sausages and congee were delicious. I would totally recommend this little gem for friends and family... There are villas as well on the property for bigger families and longer stay... Enjoyed the stay!! :-)

A small Moroccan-inspired boutique beach house, The Ryad has 11 exquisitely-furnished rooms open into the central courtyard with a skylight rooftop. The pool is just at your steps with the ocean view further away at the front. The Ryad was simply pursued to share a memorable experience where friends and families can relax and enjoy their time together in a private charming atmosphere.

Good location if you’re interested to walk in the popular yellow meadow (Tung Prong Tong. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfy and big. Room was clean. One downside - the room wasn’t so soundproof. We could hear everyone in the house speaking/snoring.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. Room comfortable, good bathroom. good location near the beach. Lots of restaurants across the road. Buffet breakfast a little limited but okay. They have a cafe where you get breakfast but also does the usual cafe coffee and cakes.

God smakrik Thai mat. Super goda Cocktails och frukt juicer på den sötaste underbaraste frukt, du kan tänka dej. Enkelt, men skönt. Känner sej familjär med personalen, som överraskar, med att kunna ditt namn, andra gången du beställer. Ett två tre lagen, med gurka och chilli, som du får till din Chicken Satay, är bara den ett minne, som du bara måste uppleva igen
